It's never too late to organize your garage AND your life! Thanks to Ariane, "The Clutter Nanny,"…read moreand Shannon, my garage and my life is now functioning at a MUCH better capacity! After years and years of hanging on to "things" I never used, sold or donated and thus making our garage a messy, unsightly and unusable place, I changed my mindset, thanks to Ariane and Shannon and couldn't be happier AND healthier. It feels much better to live in the present than to hang on to things from my past. These are things I decided someone else could much better use and enjoy, and the adage, if you haven't used it in a year, you don't "need" it, is so true. Ariane and Shannon helped me and my husband to sort, donate, toss or keep so many things we had saved for 20 or more years. They also offer to take items to donate as well. I learned about my city's (Fullerton) numerous opportunities for large item pick ups and extra trash pick ups (for an added fee) in the process. I became a familiar face at our local disposal place, which I (don't laugh) was kinda nervous about going to before, and that's why so many things didn't get "dumped." Our garage now has useable totes and shelves and designated spaces for items we truly need and use for our home and life. Big pluses for "The Clutter Nanny" are that both Ariane and Shannon are punctual, hard working, organized, great communicators and schedulers, conscientious, creative, and fantastic problem solvers. Now, and for our future, we have our two-car garage back and I look FORWARD to doing my laundry, storing and easily getting outdoor accessories and decor, easily finding camping items and tools to use indoors and outdoors. All our garage clutter is gone, and with this mindset, which Ariane and Shannon fostered in me, which feels and IS healthy, I am positive, I will not go back to clutter again. I even went to an estate sale two weeks after our de-cluttering, and didn't buy a thing; I just enjoyed myself. Thank you, Ariane and Shannon!

I'm seven months pregnant with our second baby, and our kitchen, pantry, and utility closet had become completely overwhelming. My husband and I did not have the time or energy to redo everything before the baby arrived. I especially needed help making our space work better for a toddler while preparing for newborn life again. They stepped in, understood exactly what we needed, and created practical solutions that made our home feel calm and manageable. At the end of the day it was something that needed to be done; something we were never going to do half as well as they did; and something that would lead to headaches and fights. We're so glad it was Ariane and Shannon doing it, not us. It was worth every penny. If you are thinking about booking them, plan ahead because their calendar fills up quickly.

Alice West and the Transform Your Space team are, hands down, the best in the business! I should…read moreknow because I hired Alice 5 times within 6 months. I was looking for a company because I had fallen into the trap of letting things go in terms of getting rid of older items, using my sons old room to store stuff, and generally being lazily complacent in certain areas of my house. Alice and team 'transformed' my walk- in closet and computer desk area, my son's old room (second bedroom) including closet, my kitchen cabinets, and my entire garage. I chose Transform Your Space because of my initial interaction with Alice. I found her website and saw exceptional reviews on various platforms, called, and expected to speak with an operator or administrator, but after talking for a few moments was pleasantly surprised to learn it was actually Alice after she identified herself. I had been going through some challenging times that lead my letting things get so disorganized and I was concerned I might be judged, that the tasks would be too overwhelming as I found them, and that there might be a lack of empathy. All of that went away literally in moments once Alice described her approach to her business and what she could accomplish. She really listened to me as I described what I needed done and my insecurities of letting someone into my home. The caring and ability to relate through her prior projects to me solidified my decision. She let me know that pictures were helpful to prepare her and team for how many people would be needed, time to complete projects, and gave an idea how best to approach it overall. I sent them for the first job and she immediately made me feel better that it wasn't that bad. We set the appointment and she gave me an estimate of the project cost along with the deposit required for the initial work which is later refunded. She also explained that they donate to Goodwill, work with assorted consignment stores, Working Women's Wardrobe (which I did donate some suits to especially after Alice explained that it helps those struggling to find work and need the clothing for interviews, etc). The best part is they take everything away including televisions and equipment of various kinds, and I kept asking Alice, "Can this be donated?", and she never said no! They give you itemized lists for tax purposes and email any done through organizations so you have it for your files. The day of my first appointment, I was still a little apprehensive because seeing a picture can be different from being face to face with the actual 'disaster' (as I referred to it as). Alice arrived right on time with a team member. She had a gentle and compassionate demeanor from the get go and I quickly felt like I was in good hands. She came with all necessary supplies including options to utilize her organizational bins, holders, etc. (she even got me a great plastic compressible ladder for my closet to reach taller shelves and that I now use throughout the house! She thinks of EVERYTHING!) She has a label maker that has made such a difference in accessing what I need after the fact. No more fumbling around and having to take everything out to find something! They bring trash bins and bags for sorting too. Alice is very dialed in to environmental concerns so is tenacious in the separating stages , including if something is hazardous waste. They start by tackling areas and separating items and then ask you to decide what you want to do with it. And before you know it, you start seeing clear progress which is so gratifying especially if you've been drowning in a mess of just too much stuff! As I hired Alice multiple times, it became my choice to stay nearby and work hand and hand to get things done quicker. I quickly realized I had been holding on to too many things that weren't important and she helped me 'let go' and really keep what was and is important. It was cathartic and I felt free from the burden of having so much. The finished product is so overwhelming that I felt like crying in relief! She even has a completion bell that they ring during for success made! I have never been so organized in my life now. I even say "What would Alice do?" when I now put things away in my new, neat world! I also want to give a big shout out to Jenny, Ashli, Lindsay, and Teena who supported Alice and my many projects. They were terrific! If you're reading this and really need an organizing service that does so many things, please contact Transform Your Space first. Best decision I've made in a long time! Alice is now a friend and I recommend her because she's the total package including with pricing. Don't suffer or wait any longer. Call or message them today!

They were efficient with my time and we even came in under budget. I had a stockpile of organizing materials and they used everything that I already had but called out when they had a better item in mind (how do they fit all those organization materials in their car?? It's like Mary Poppins magic) All in all I'd highly recommend--felt like a huge weight off my chest to know everything is in its place. The wait time for the door to come in was two weeks tops. The installers (Oscar and Allen) were on time, explained the installation process to us, and had the door hung in about an hour. We're pleased with the quality, and decent pricing. Glad we purchased a quality door rather than getting a cheap door from one of the major box stores. We've actually ordered the same door for another room. Thank you to Michelle, the designer who was great to work with and Gabby in the office as well. Heidi Ivanoff Mission Viejo

I had a very disappointing experience with this company…read more Initially, everything seemed professional. A designer named Michelle (if I remember her name correctly) came to our home to take measurements. Our closets are unusually deep--about 25 inches--and I specifically emphasized that I wanted the full depth to be used. She assured me that wouldn't be a problem, so I trusted her. After approving the design, I signed the contract, assuming it reflected what we had discussed. Fortunately, I happened to review the plans again before installation and discovered that the shelves had been designed with a standard depth of only 8 inches instead of using the full depth of our custom closets. When I brought this to their attention, I expected them to correct what I believed was a clear misunderstanding. Instead, I was told that the materials had already been ordered and that 99% of their customers use standard-depth shelves. That completely misses the point--we hired them to build custom closets, not standard ones. We tried multiple times to work out a reasonable solution, but the company was unwilling to take responsibility or meaningfully discuss alternatives. Their communication was frustrating, and the customer service throughout the process was extremely disappointing. My advice is to review every single measurement and detail before signing anything, even if you've discussed everything in person. Don't assume the design reflects what was agreed upon. Based on my experience, this company did not deliver the level of customization or customer service I expected. This is a very shade company stay away.

Fast forward to last year, when they had all moved out on their own, and our garage had become the holding place for years of accumulated belongings from both us and our kids. My husband had made some progress over time, but it was still overwhelming. I found Andrea on Yelp and was impressed from the beginning. She was straightforward about her pricing, responsive, and willing to work on a Saturday. While most organizers estimated this project would take two days, Andrea was confident she could get it done in about seven hours with her crew of 4--and she did. What I appreciated most was her approach. She's very kind, but she's also efficient and focused. She helped us shift our mindset before we even started, which was important because this project required a significant edit of what we owned. Her guidance made it much easier for both my husband and me to make decisions and stay on track. Andrea also coordinated a company to remove the items we no longer wanted. They sort, donate, and resell whenever possible, which gave us peace of mind knowing our belongings wouldn't simply end up in a landfill. The results were remarkable. The garage is functional, organized, and honestly feels like an entirely new space. We had family and friends over for Father's Day, and everyone got a tour of the garage, that's how excited we were about the transformation. Andrea has a real talent for this work. She brings the perfect combination of practicality, encouragement, and organization. Most importantly, she never makes you feel judged about how much stuff you've accumulated over the years. She simply helps you create a better way forward.
