Went to Mac flooring to replace our carpet with either vinyl or hardwood. We have kids and wanted long lasting and easy to maintain and also low voc, low chemical floors. They helped us figure out which brand to buy and introduced us to an organic, no chemical flooring that has real wood in it vs printed plastic. I'm glad we talked to them and viewed the samples in person otherwise I would have never know about this brand. We found the exact color and style for our home. I was concerned about how they would install in our 2nd floor since we had furnitures, toys etc and they made it easy by offering moving services - they moved everything out of the way, covered our items and made sure to take care of our belongings. Their crew was polite, on time, and cleaned up after themselves daily. I'm very happy with the floors, installation, communication, and service. We had our carpet installed 5 years ago. The showroom was nice and the salespeople helpful. The install was awful and the carpet is thinning out in certain non high use areas, even though we got a "high quality" one. The carpet wasn't tacked down correctly. Pretty awful work and quality of product in relation to the price. I wouldn't trust them to do the rest of my house. Even if they sub out the installers they should be following up on the quality. Installers did just enough to make it look good and get paid. read more

He took care to make sure the walls were not damaged during installation and he placed lovely trim as the border surrounding the floor. We just finished having existing laminated wood removed and a beautiful porcelain wood grain floor installed by MAC throughout our entire first floor. This was quite an involved project including the kitchen, den, office, powder room, laundry room and closet. MAC moved and reset kitchen, laundry, and powder room appliances and fixtures. The fit and finish of the porcelain panels, baseboards, and full function of the appliances and fixtures was wonderful. Was looking for a company earlier this year to assist w/ the remodel of my parents condo in Dana Point. The scope of the work included renovation of the kitchen and 2 & 1/2 baths as well as replacing the flooring. Interviewed 4 contractors and ended up going w/ MAC Flooring & Interiors as we concluded they would be the best to execute the project in a timely manner with a fair price - and they certainly didn't disappoint. The entire experience from the initial meetings w/ Tanner (the flooring expert), Matt (the project manager), and Kristin (Owner and designer) to the very end of project was outstanding. Partnering and communicating with Matt was excellent throughout the entire project, and he seamlessly worked w/ other contractors hired to paint & replace doors and closets. After visiting the property at the beginning of the project Kristin had a keen sense of what we were looking to accomplish and delivered in effortlessly suggesting the perfect design elements like flooring and tile. She stayed involved every step of the way, meeting us at the house at key points during construction. Pricing was competitive, and we felt we received value for money. There were several change orders but all of them were either due to scope changes we requested or things out of their control. Like with every big project like this there are hiccups but all of them were addressed in a timely manner to our complete satisfaction. When we chose them at the end of Feb we asked if they could start work 3rd week of April and we were happy when work started on time. We were pleased that they completed all the work in 3 months. MAC Flooring & Interiors is more known for their flooring work, and they certainly didn't disappoint with beautifully installed laminate flooring. Their remodel work was just as impressive, though - the kitchen and bathrooms turned out great. I cannot say enough great things about my experience with MAC flooring. I recently replaced my entire downstairs floor with LVP and used MAC for the materials and supplies. I had been to multiple other flooring stores and was struggling to choose colors and materials from the tiny samples they had available. MAC has a wonderful selection to look at in the show room and they sent me home with showroom sized samples which made all the difference in helping me make my decisions. Tanner Thee, the customer service guy who worked with me, made sure I ordered the correct under layer and other needed supplies. I let Tanner know the date my demolition was starting and he made sure that my flooring was in their warehouse before we needed it. Pick up is by reservation and they had someone there to help my installer load everything onto his truck. I had to go back to pick up some quarter round and molding and that was taken care of quickly and efficiently. They also sell baseboards so you can get everything you need in the same place. Prices were competitive with other places I looked but the customer service was what really stood out. Totally next level. MAC can provide any type of flooring including, carpet, tile, wood and synthetics. They also can provide installation if you need it. I will definitely be back for my next home project! read more

We didn't go into that and in the end, I was not satisfied with the bounce or padding of the carpet. I did get low pile. But I've been on low pile carpet that had more padding/bounce. MAC Flooring has been outstanding, from start to finish! I retained MAC Flooring to install new water-resistant laminate planks and new baseboards in our home. The work project was supervised by Kristin (the owner) and Matt (the installer). The crew chief (Brendan) supervised the work crew and kept the different stages of flooring work (including demo, leveling and installation) on schedule, with as little disruption as possible to our daily life.
