For years, he didn't even make me get x-rays, although he encouraged it. When I finally did, we discovered a cavity, which he filled last week. He numbed me up real good and I felt nothing. As I drove home, I felt a sharp spot over the filling, so I turned around. He immediately took me back in and smoothed it over. I really appreciate how he wanted to make it right for me. The dental hygienists and support staff are also very friendly and kind. The office has a cheerful atmosphere where everyone seems to get along which is important for making patients feel comfortable. I cannot recommend Dr. Terry Marcincin highly enough.

I broke a tooth and knew I had no choice but to bite the bullet and get it fixed! I asked a friend where I should go and this is where she led me. I had a panic attack before going and did not sleep the night before. The front desk staff was actually treating me like a person and not just a name on a chart! I was surprised...still terrified but comforted. It's not. i was going to a different dentist, in Emmaus, PA, where the oral hygienist essentially tortured me (I even have an injury on the root of a tooth from their hostile scaling technique, though there's no hope of getting their admission of it). I started scaling my own teeth to reduce this feeling of being brutalized at semiannual cleanings, and it made no difference at all. At Antonis' office, I said "Wow, you barely did anything with the hook". The hygienist admitted "you basically did all the work". This taught me that my other hygienist was not doing anything sensible and had only been scraping mindlessly. I'll never go back to them, but I WOULD go back to Antonis' people. I told the receptionists how impressed I was with the gentleness of Antonis' hygienists. The one receptionist said "Oh I know, I love them here!" She then told an oral hygienist anecdote of her own, from her own prior dentist. When she somewhat shyly complained about her hygienist, to the receptionist at her old dental office, the dentist happened to be within hearing distance and said "What? She's been warned before about that" and the dentist walked back and fired the woman on the spot. So let this be a lesson to you: if you're putting up with an oral hygienist abusing your mouth during cleanings, this is NOT normal. Try the hygienists at Mark Antonis' office. I had two different ones and both were gentle. Note, this was circa 2006. I don't know if the same hygienists are there today.

We went to another dentist who was amazed at the poor procedure and didn't even know what material was used. The X-Rays show the cheap amalgam fillings but the look of it shows Resin. It seems they used a cheap filler, drilled too far, then topped it with Resin to cover the fact they used ancient, cheap practices. I'm furious. They deserve to be fined or investigated. I now have almost $3000 in dental costs for 3 teeth due to their malpractice. I wish I had someone to call but upon investigation, I can't find a regulatory committee to report them too. The only way we can end their practices is to end their practice. Don't go.
