When they first called, I explained that I didn't have the new insurance information available at that moment but would call back later that day or the following morning to provide it. Despite that, I received another call later the same day asking for the same information, even though I had already committed to calling back. I called the office to provide the information and also expressed that I was frustrated by the repeated calls. My concern was never about the importance of having accurate insurance information--I completely understand that. I work in customer service myself, and I appreciate the need for accurate records. My frustration was simply that I had already told the office I would call back, yet I felt pressured before I had the opportunity to do so. Rather than acknowledging my concern, the office manager spoke to me in a way that felt dismissive and condescending. She even asked if I "always talk to my customers the way I was talking to her," despite the fact that I remained respectful throughout the conversation. I never raised my voice or spoke disrespectfully; I simply expressed my frustration with how the situation was handled. As a parent, first impressions matter when choosing healthcare providers for my children. Unfortunately, this interaction left me with little confidence in the office's approach to communication and customer service, so I chose to cancel our appointments and seek dental care elsewhere.

The minute I walked into the Hamilton Design Dental office I was greeted and treated well. I was taken in in a timely manner and met Mellisa who did my check up and cleaning. It's good to be in the chair of someone with so much experience! I thought I'd be nervous but seeing all of the up to date equipment and cleanliness of the office space made me feel at ease. She was very pleasant and answered all the questions I had. I especially liked how they take pictures of all of your teeth! Incredible technology. I found Serenity by google as I needed to find a new provider since moving from NJ. I chose this provider because they were flexible, the additional services provided a luxe experience and the customer service representatives were friendly and helpful. I completed my files ahead of time electronically which was great and made check in easy. The day of my appointment, I was greeted by a woman with an amazing smile and top notch personality. Immediately I felt like I needed to be here. They are currently undergoing renovations as this is the secondary location, however the front end of the office looks superb. When brought to the back rooms for dental work is where the atmosphere is dated and not the same as the newly renovated office or the STROUDSBURG location. My cleaning with Clara? and exam with Dr. Taormina was amazingly thorough, however my experience lacked what I was essentially looking for and could have received at the other location. This is the only reason why I gave 4 stars and look forward to my 6 month exam when everything will be completed and brand new! Again- I loved everything and everyone, just a little sad that I didn't get the full Serenity experience. Thanks again!

I had my initial evaluation and X-rays done on October 10th. I was told I needed a dental cleaning…read moreand a significant amount of additional work, and that treatment could begin as soon as my cleaning was completed. That's where everything started to go downhill. It took until January 19th just to get in for the first half of my cleaning--yes, they only clean one half of your mouth at a time. The hygenist did a good job. Then it took until March 24th to schedule the second half. When I showed up on time for that appointment, I was told my X-rays had expired and I would need a new set for insurance reimbursement. Completely unacceptable. On top of that, my appointments were canceled multiple times, and I kept getting strung along with delays. At one point, they even tried to blame me for cancellations that were clearly on their end. Now, nearly six months later, I still haven't received any actual dental treatment, and I'm being told I may need another round of X-rays. Meanwhile, my dental health has only gotten worse. If you're okay with endless delays, rude communication, and zero accountability, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.
