Be prepared to pay for street parking. There's a good selection of drinks (tea, milk tea, smoothies, shakes, slushy, lemonade) but I went with a guava green tea with bursting lychee. The menu isn't clear about making it less sweet but I was able to request 50% less sweet. My drink was refreshing and I'll be back to try their milk tea next. Went here on a random late morning, we were first to arrive, so it obviously wouldn't be too busy. It's in the newly renovated Bayshore Mall. There was only one employee working at the time and idk if it's just that she didn't want to be working, but my biggest qualm was that she was irritated by all the questions we had for her. I had never been there so I was confused about if the tea was actually brewed tea. Anyway still unsure if it's actually tea, . I ended up ordering the Mango Watermelon tea and I quite enjoyed it. I love this dreamy little tea shop! One quick note before I dig in: During COVID19, they're currently open for takeout. The staff wears masks and practices perfect social distancing. I purchased a rose milk tea with tapioca last Saturday. After 20 minutes wait, (they ran out tapiocas so they cooked tapiocas freshly.) I took my drink home, and dank it while watching videos then I found out that there is a piece of steel wool inside one of the tapiocas. (it could be accidentally left in the pot after someone washed it) It was sharp and scratched my tongue. I am lucky that I sensed it before swallowing. I have to say I am so happy that there is now a bubble tea place on Marquette's campus. I am a dental student but the undergrad that I went to had many bubble tea places that I frequented so I am so happy to be able to satisfy my boba craving here. First off, it seems that they are only doing take-out orders for the time being. You can enter the store, but you cannot dine in. The staff take good precautions by wearing masks (and requiring patrons to wear masks) and social distancing. It's good to see they are prioritizing safety. I ordered the taro milk tea with half sweetness and I LOVED it. It absolutely satisfied my craving for boba and I will definitely be coming back. A friend of mine had suggested to get half sweetness and found it to be the perfect level of sweetness for me (I usually do not like things too sweet). So it is nice that you have the option to control the sweetness level. My friend got the jasmine milk tea (full sweetness) and she was very happy with her order as well. Drinks were nothing really outstanding - like those quick bubble tea you could find in a typical American bubble tea place. It is SO incredibly difficult to find good authentic boba tea in Milwaukee. So far I've had kinds that were more like slushees, way too much ice, hard/frozen boba and even some that are made with flavored powders. (yuck!) But thankfully, you won't find any of that here! So far I have been to sereniTEA three times and every time my drink has been absolute perfection. They come in three different sizes and the menu has so many different combos. I've tried the milky latte with boba, guava tea with lychee jelly and cherry almond milk tea with boba, and so far my favorite was the guava tea with lychee! It's the perfect refreshing summertime drink despite me getting it in the dead of winter! I also recommend sitting in house while enjoying your drink as the atmosphere is usually chill with lo-fi music in the background. Seriously guys, go check them out. Used to love this location for boba but after drinks were made wrong 3 visits in a row and bad customer service, i can say i wont be going back again. The last time I went, our drinks were finally made right but one drink had a chunk of paper and the other had a shard of plastic. After messaging the owner, she read my message, and didn't respond. Really terrible customer service there. Super unfortunate because this was probably my favorite local location. I will be returning to my usual of Bambu. Edit: A friend of mine who works there mention black mold in their kitchen and horrible treatment of staff. Apparently behavior, such as ignoring the issues i mentioned, is normal of the owners. They've left their cafe understaffed and employees stressed in order to make the most monetary benefit for themselves. Many flavors to choose from you will definitely find your flavor. The staff are friendly and made suggestions and even asked about how sweet I wanted my drink since what I was ordering she mentioned was a pretty sweet drink so they can adjust the sugar for you if needed so nice to know. When you first go inside the shop it has a scent of Id say brown sugar and nut and its definitely not a bad thing. There are no seats as of now so only carryout. My take is that SereniTea is the best bubble tea that you will find in the Milwaukee area; there is not much competition, but at the same time, their quality has been the most consistent given that drinks are all that they do. I have found that restaurants that offer bubble tea tend to fall short of my tastes. Their tapioca pearls are the most consistently cooked, and I like that it gives people options for teas, shakes, and add-in's whether you're new to bubble tea or you're a transplant from a different part of the country. I think the prices are fair for the size - you can expect to pay 4-7$ for a drink depending on your size and add-in's and tip. The staff is usually friendly and accomodating, and I always appreciate it when I get to choose how sweet I want my drink to be. Personal favorite flavors for the milk teas are the Tiger (brown sugar), original milk tea, and taro! I have a hard time not stopping by for some milk tea when I pass by, so I hope you do the same and get that bubble tea craving filled. read more

We had a student organization social and we ordered around 30 cups of boba for everyone, with customized orders. SereniTea catered us well and got all of our orders correct! They were also in time with finishing up the orders for the pick up time. All of our guests were happy with their orders. I ended up getting a peach black tea with boba with less sugar. It was a pretty good drink but nothing special, which I expected from my order. However, it was still way too sweet for me. However, considering that there literally aren't many more boba options in Milwaukee, SereniTea will still remain one of the top boba places in the area. Whatever you do please don't touch the radio by the couch! I met up with a friend yesterday and we sat in the couch area. The radio was blasting, so my friend turned the radio down. We got called out from the staff behind the counter about how it's their property and there's a sign. I go look and there's this small picture frame of a sign that says don't touch- valid point, but it could have been handled more discreetly or move the radio behind the counter. Honestly, for an actual boba place in MKE, I have to say it's pretty good! I'm used to places like Ding Tea, Meet Fresh, Happy Lemon, Sharetea, and Gong Cha. Serenitea isn't on their level, but they are not too far from it. I had a rose milk tea with boba. I liked how the sweetness wasn't too overpowering and it didn't taste overall powdery. The boba definitely wasn't fresh at 2PM when I went, so an adjustment to that could be better, but I like how they keep it in the brown sugar syrup. You could tell because there's a hard chew in the middle rather than a soft gummy chew throughout. Would I go back? Yeah, for sure. It reminds me of home (SoCal). read more
