She communicated what she was doing throughout the process and the procedure was relatively painless. I'm writing this almost 24 hours later and I feel very little discomfort. This is the first morning I woken up to in a long time without throbbing from that tooth. My insurance company can be difficult to work with. Outside of the procedure I can say the office kept me informed of their efforts with the pre-authorization and even managed to get me in earlier than my scheduled appointment. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and the treatment I received.

I had honestly never even heard of endodontics before the term "root canal" started being dropped into scheduling and conversation for me. It was nothing like I had imagined. Thank you to Dr. Sloan Lanctot and Dani. You were both truly amazing. You were attentive, listened, never made me feel rushed, and made the whole experience much easier and more comfortable. Wouldn't recommend a root canal for the fun of it, but the entire experience was better with you, and better than I could have ever imagined or expected. The office in Westerville is beautiful! It's new and think they have only been at this address a few months. I had a 9 AM appointment, arrived around 8:30 AM, and had no issues finding parking. The office and facility are clean and modern with new equipment. Everything felt as comfortable as could be, and the service from check in through the next day follow up was friendly and appreciated. Helpful notes: Upon arrival, the restrooms are on the second floor, directly across from the elevators. They are only accessible before you enter the suite. When it comes to relieving it, you will not receive better care from another endodontic group. I've had 4 root canals in the last four years, three from Dr. Menke and one from Dr. Arens at the Dublin and Westerville offices, and each time, I have left feeling truly cared for. Professionalism and expertise is top tier. Dr. Menke has done the last three root canals for me and makes it a point to check on his patients the next day personally to see how things are. When was the last time a medical professional did that in our world? Best guy ever! The first root canal I had was an emergency two days before Xmas in '22 during a blizzard. A two-hour drive turned into three, and my whole head throbbed with pain. Walking out into a field and lying down was definitely on the table. If you know, you know. Dr. Arens took one look at me and in one minute, the pain was gone. The endodontist in Chillicothe I had gone to first actually had numbed my mouth, then looked down and said, "No. I'm not doing it. Your mouth is too small. Just have it pulled." Yep. Zero stars. Do not recommend. Dr. Arens saved my tooth. Despite my frequent brushing and flossing, old fillings have broken or fallen out, requiring more dental work as I've gotten older. Despite the 2-hr drive, Central Ohio Endodonics will always be my first choice for future work. The office staff is also kind and professional - very empathetic - and thoughtful, extending the exemplary dental care to the finish line. I appreciate everyone there. I came to Kathy and Kevin (the Younkins) and from the first consultation, they put me at ease. They're soothing, gentle and really nice. I don't know what all their fancy equipment does but it seems super high tech. I don't know what other people go through, but the whole experience was a breeze. The only pain i felt was a little soreness for a couple days after which is no big deal if you take the ibuprofen they give you.

I admittedly had been putting this off for about a year and felt relief I chose to see him after discussing options. After agreeing to the procedure he started the numbing and it was the best experience I've had with this. He took his time and did in two rounds. I barely felt anything. He worked well with his assistant and continuously checked on me during the root canal. He was doing all the work but encouraged me on how well I was doing. Elite called the morning after I had a really bad night with pain and they could see me in three days instead of the originally scheduled day. I would rarely describe getting a root canal as 'wonderful,' but the staff was as kind in person as they were on the phone. Dr. Lisa explained what she thought was going on with the tooth and the conservative approach she'd recommend. She completed the procedure right away. I hope to not need another root canal, but if I do, this practice would be my first choice. Affordability is important, but for me, professionalism and kindness are of utmost importance. Their practice hits the mark on all three counts.
