The wonderful peoples at this office saved the day again!! I am new to the area and had a bridge…read morecome lose about 2 months ago...then just the other day I had a crown pop off. Both times I had no insurance and I knew I would have to pay out of pocket. Both times they took me in right away.. I was in and out, no problems! Pretty affordable and everyone was really nice and professional.

I have had 4 appointments with this dentist, and I have some mixed reviews, this location for me…read morewas like having a brand new escalade with a engine, but needs some new tires, and sparkplugs. I came on my first visit I was completely impressed by the atmosphere, they even have charges for your cell phone if you need it. I sat down in the lady kept asking me if I have insurance, I informed her that I did but she keep asking as if she didn't believe me. Then Kelly took very through x-rays and she knows how to put you at ease as if you are at Disney world. The people here are great, but some rough patches with communication. It was discovered that I needed a lot of work done, including a root canal, which I feared would be the case. So I set an appointment to get this done, but I set an earlier appointment to get the crown done, so that I wouldn't lose the filling I had from A previous time. So when I can to the appointment, the lady said okay, I understand we are doing a root canal, and clean the left side of your mouth. and was confused because I was there for something completely different, I think one of the things that should be done is have something written out which plan of action is being taken at each appointment, so their is no confusion, especially in cases when their is a lot of work to be done. They made it work with my insurance, that is the thing that I am most grateful about this place, Dr Papp is legendary, I have a maybe a handful of dentist in my life, and from my experience, he is truly, a cut above the rest. when I went to my 4th appointment, the root canal that final got done, was a supper-smooth process, he dialogs great with customers, and he is world class. If you get a choice I would go With "big papa!" That's what I call him in my head. This location doesn't discuss preventive care much with patients, so it is important to make sure you ask them, to keep the work they do intact. If you make an appointment, they will not leave you in the dark, the with email you and text you often to remind you, so they have great follow-up, But If you can't make an appointment let them know because they have a big customer base They bake cookies fresh every day so they definitely make an effort, to make a great atmosphere, But just a few things to work out.

This review basically is just to echo every word Chad M. wrote as we seemingly had identical…read moreexperiences here. Truly, if a root canal is a must, Buckeye Endodontics does them as well and efficiently as could any office could. I found them online in a search engine through my insurance provider, which listed them among a handful of other endodontists in the area that were supposedly within network. Now, I have a rare federal dental plan that most dental offices have never even heard of so, imagine my surprise when I called Buckeye Endodontics and the employee on the phone immediately said "oh you have the AVN6 plan? Your co-pay will be $X" AND that number actually matched up to the number I'd seen on my fee schedule prior to calling! I am also 15 weeks pregnant and the staff here communicated with my physician to ensure they followed all recommendations for my safety and that of baby's, which included not using epinephrine in the anesthetic. I felt terrible for arriving a few minutes late on the day of my scheduled treatment but, when I called to alert them, the front desk employee politely said "as long as you're not more than 15 minutes late we'll be able to see you, drive safe!" Upon arrival, both the senior dental assistant (Miranda) and Dr. Simpson were aware that I was pregnant - I know that seems obvious given that they'd already communicated with my doctor prior to my visit but just 2 weeks prior to coming here I went to a dentist, told her I was pregnant, returned for treatment, and almost was injected with epinephrine if not for my asking what was in the numbing agent to which the dentist responded "wait, you're pregnant?!? Did you just find out?!" and I had to point out that, no, actually I had already told her staff that and they actually also had communicated with my doctor. The actual procedure was quick and relatively easy - the TV right above the dental chair playing HGTV sure made the time pass quickly :) Dr. Simpson was diligent to answer all questions I had following the procedure, gave clear verbal and written instructions, and soon I was on my way. I was advised to take pain medication before the anesthetic wore off but, with the whole pregnancy thing, I decided to chance it. And, as Chad mentioned, while expecting the worst, I never did experience any pain - even after the anesthetic wore off! Sure, there was some discomfort and the area was tender but no more actual pain in my mouth - truly life changing! If you need a root canal, look no further than Dr. Simpson and his entire team at Buckeye Endodontics, you won't regret it!

I would definitely recommend buckeye endodontics. Okay, with that being said. Let's talk about his receptionist. I arrived on time, got to the receptionist desk ,stood there for a good three minutes. The receptionist was clearly visible and knew that I had came in to the office. Never looked up and acknowledge that I was there. Never said hold on I will be with you in a minute. She finally came over, with an attitude like somehow I interrupted her day,and asked are you the 1:15 fill this out and shoves a clipboard in my face. She was so rude and nasty.

Dr. Ettrich's owns his practice in Powell, close to the intersection of Powell Rd & Sawmill. I knew I needed a root canal for about a month but put it off, dumb me. I was awaken Friday night in terrible pain and called their office at 12:30 am, knowing I would get their VM. I wanted to see if they were open on Saturday. Someone called me Saturday morning and said they were closed Saturday's but the Dr, rearranged his schedule Monday to get me in. I was very thankful. What I love is that Dr. Ettrich is super cool and laid back, very personable and easy to talk to. It's almost like he's a long lost buddy you're visiting. Dr. Ettrich is VERY gentle and will do whatever you need or it takes so you are completely relaxed and comfortable during your procedure. He specializes and only does root canals and my dentist personally recommended him and now I know why. This is my 2nd visit to Dr. Ettrich and while I really like him, hopefully there are no more root canals in my future. I highly recommend him if you ever find yourself in need of a root canal, you can't go wrong. Honestly the only "eh" part is getting the novacaine shot, but even that is easy in the way he gives them to you and for my big baby butt to say that DOES say alot, trust me.

He showed me the x rays and explained what was happening with the tooth. He did not feel a root canal was necessary yet unless I wanted to proceed. I was shocked. I've been to so many dentists and he could have just said hi, laid me back and done the root canal. When I shared that he said "it's just not the right thing to do." I will happily go back any time I need anything!

The lead dentist here is Stephen Webster. He is truly amazing. I am a grinder. I apparently abuse my teeth nightly. So Im always bruising the nerve of my teeth and sometimes fracturing them. I also seem to toss my night guards while sleeping and repetitively damage different molars.. thus needing an occasional root canal. The first root canal was done elsewhere and it was an awful experience. When the tooth didn't heal up I went in search of a new dentist and found Dr Webster. So glad I found him! Since then he has fixed the area that still hurt from the other practice. He has also saved a badly fractured tooth on the opposite side of my mouth with a successful canal and today has preformed another root canal on my back molar. I will fully admit I was terrified to have a second root canal after the experience with the first dentist. However, my experience with Dr Webster was nothing but positive. He listens to you concerns and makes you feel at ease. Both he and is staff treat you with kindness. He has this technique of numbing the gum that is so much more effective than any other doctor Ive ever been too. I mean even the "numbing" shots he administered are barely felt. Truly, my canals with him hardly hurt at all. I recommend him to everyone whenever I hear someone is needing a root canal. I trust him fully. If you become a patient with him, you will too. He is really good at what he does. Highly recommend him.

His honesty and professionalism cut him out of the equation, and he referred me to an oral surgeon instead. Even though I didn't become a patient of his, I'd still recommend him. It seems like a really great practice, and he's a very personable and professional Endodontist. When I did compare root canal procedure rates, they're definitely comparable. Check them out.
