This spot was recommended to me by a coworker. It's located in a weird little strip mall and decent inside, the person that did, my treatment was excellent! Massage was great. The Banya was very interesting and then the mud mask afterwards was luxurious. The reason why I'm only giving it four stars is because it's very pricey. I think the owner could spend some money to make the interiors a lot nicer with the amount of money you pay. The shower was very dark and no shampoo or conditioner. Can't use the hot tub and the floors felt dirty. There was gravel underneath my feet from the hot tub. All in all can't complain but that's the down and dirty of it !

(They even have warmed toilet seats and bidets!) I initially went when they first opened for a head spa to help with some scalp issues and loved it, but I recently returned twice in three days to try their expanded services. I had the Lomi Lomi Massage, the Royal Head Treatment (with a wonderful paraffin hand mask substitution since I had makeup on), and a Thai Yoga Massage with a lymphatic drainage add-on. Alissa was my massage therapist and she is truly phenomenal--I feel like a completely new person! I've had a Hand & Stone membership for 18 years, and I'm seriously considering dropping it just to come here instead. Five stars!

The receptionist was courteous, warm, and kind, which immediately made me feel welcome. And then there was Joy. I was a deep neuromuscular massage therapist for years, so I'll admit, I'm VERY picky about my massages. Joy listened carefully to what I asked for, but what impressed me even more was her intuition. She trusted what she was feeling through her hands and found areas that needed attention even when I hadn't specifically pointed them out. That kind of instinct and skill is rare but something I truly appreciate. After moving myself and helping move my mom to a new location at essentially the same time, my body was exhausted and my stress level had been high for weeks. I booked this massage simply hoping for some much-needed relief. What I didn't expect was to find my new favorite massage therapist, and my new favorite spa. I will absolutely be back. I highly recommend Joy and Rock Salt Spa.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the Holistic Body Detox (Dry) - 80 Min treatment as advertised. It was not full-body--only about two-thirds of my legs were treated, and my stomach was skipped entirely. The dry brushing was so light that it barely touched my skin, so there was little to no exfoliation. The draping also made the experience awkward. When I turned over, the therapist held the blankets so tightly over me that it was difficult and uncomfortable to move beneath them. Finally, the towels smelled unclean, as though they hadn't been properly sanitized, which detracted from the spa experience. While I appreciated the kindness of both Celis and the manager, I still spent nearly two hours there and left disappointed because the service did not match what I had booked.

That being said, I would have enjoyed it SO much more had I not been asked to keep adding in additional services for additional $$. I did add on, but it was more from the pressure of being asked than what I really wanted...which was a relaxing time to enjoy the facial. The building and rooms were very nice, but I don't think I'll be back. I spent over $100 more than the gift I received because of the additional services that were being sold. It really ruined the experience. Perhaps if you choose to go there...you could tell them up front...no extras and they wouldn't try so hard to sell more.

It's kind of small but has a very comfortable feel. Everyone was very nice but at times it wasn't very professional. While we were having our jelly pedicures (which was very cool), other customers would come in and start talking to Tina. She answered the phone several times while doing my pedicure. Ken did my daughter's pedicure and did a very good job except that after we left, she noticed a nick on the edge of one toe where the polish was gone already. I feel like I didn't really get much of the foot/leg massage because Tina was pretty distracted. She did squeeze my younger daughter in for just a polish (not the whole pedicure) so that was nice. We each had a cup of that amazing citrus tea that Ken made and that was really good. My younger daughter had a cold stone massage with Vera and then a facial with Tina and said both were very nice. Their prices were reasonable and the place was clean - don't know if I'll be rushing back though because I prefer a more relaxing experience.
