First off, around 90% of the service is crap. I just felt I needed to get that out out of the way before it ate me alive inside. I waited way too long to be served on a Sunday, and the lukewarm treatment reeked of, "I know I'm getting paid anyway, so you don't matter." An angel of mercy came to my rescue, however, so she makes up that extra 10% of good customer service.
The prices are about what you would expect from an establishment that takes itself, perhaps, a bit too seriously. However, the cocktails and the food are absolutely worth it.
I can vouch for the fruity booze and say that regardless of what you order, these bartenders are pretty on top of their game. From personal experience, I can say that the 'Stay Fabulous' and 'Apples and Pears Collins' are perfectly-balanced and pack quite the boozy punch. They have just about any kind of alcoholic concoction you could want and know how to make them irresistibly unique, so just pick your poison, and you won't be disappointed.
Food wise, you have quite the gamut of brunchy favorites, including Fried Chicken with a gourmet twist, and eggy dishes with all the fancy trimmings. For the first time ever, however, I got myself a pizza for brunch, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The 'Green God' almost makes you think you're being healthy, with a nice topping of Pistachio Pesto, kale, broccoli, beetroot, ricotta, and roasted butternut squash. The sizes here are ginormous, so you should be set for about two meals or so. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try their Truffle Squash either, and I can tell you it's one of the best decisions I've ever made.
None of what I ordered disappointed me in the slightest, though I do wish they would work on their customer service. read more
