A wonderful place to reset, refocus, & realign! The staff here were so welcoming, friendly and made my stay perfect. My private room faced one of the surrounding "Three Rivers," which was astounding to see every morning. The fresh air, trees, and small town vibes were calling to me. This lodge is located just outside of the Sequoia National Forest Park. You can walk to the entrance but it takes an hour to drive up to the main trails and sequoia trees. *Cellular service is spotty here. However, they offer free wifi while staying here. *No Cleaning service here so don't forget to make your bed and clean up after yourself:) if you are OCD like me, lol! *Fresh towels, TP, trash bags, ice, DVDs, games, books are available in the front office. *Each room has "Fresh Organic Coffee Beans, an electric coffee grinder, microwave, small fridge, TV with satellite and a DVD player. *Free parking *Private cabins located across from the lodge with small kitchens and bathrooms.

Closest motel to the park and right next to surprisingly good restaurant which served all 3 meals. Simple and big rustic but great location and staff. Free use of dvds and board games was a fun touch. Loved the sound of the rushing water over the rocks.

Our party reserved the Sequoia Charmed and Kaweah Gem Suites during our visit. I loved that each suite was walking distance to the river and that were lots of places to sit and relax on the way there. I stayed in the Sequoia Charmed Suite. There was a tiny balcony that overlooked the river. The outdoor kitchen was great. There were bikes to borrow, and there was even a ping pong table. The suite was adorable with a tiny kitchenette and a large pullout sofa. We really liked these beautiful suites. The owner, Diana, was thoughtful, and the suites were big, beautiful, and really relaxing. For our next stay in Three Rivers, I would love to stay at this lovely property again.

Our suite, The Kaweah Gem, was fully stocked with luxury towels; mini fridge, coffee maker & rapid heating electric water kettle for tea, hot chocolate, etc. Bedding was luxurious & comfortable! Shared outdoor kitchen had everything you could imagine & we were able to BBQ after a quick trip to the local grocery store. The privacy & river views are beyond special. On line pics don't reflect updates to the suite, teal carpet replaced with darker tile. Diana also accommodated our request to bring a masseuse on site for massages by the river. A gorgeous, tranquil setting & surely a destination for years to come!

There is wildlife which means there are bugs, but that's a huge tradeoff with the amazing views. Beds are very comfortable and the cabins are easily accessible. Access to the river depends on its level but no matter what it's fun to play in. What really made our stay awesome was the groundskeeper! He went out of his way to keep us comfortable by having our second room ready early and even extended a courtesy fishing pole when ours broke! There are different cabins which make it possible to accommodate different groups! No, it's not luxury but it's memorable and serene. That's way better than luxury any day.

After a full day at Sequoia National Park, we were exhausted and just wanted to get back to our nearly $300 hotel room to shower, enjoy the advertised air-conditioning, and relax with some TV. As soon as we arrived, we found ourselves in a severely rundown area. A man approached us and told us we needed to drive up the road to get the key from a lockbox. I was confused since I booked what I thought was a hotel with on-site staff, not an Airbnb-style setup. We drove quite a distance up the road, and the moment we pulled in, I knew the property was not as advertised. It looked extremely rundown, was right next to a busy road, had spiderwebs everywhere, and felt more like a condemned house than a "cute cabin." Still, I was willing to give it a chance because we were so tired. Inside, it was 100° with no functioning air-conditioning. The unit was unplugged, couldn't reach the outlet, and was barely balanced in the window. There was only one towel for four people, no working hot water, and the TV didn't work. We tried calling the two phone numbers we were given, but both were disconnected. We checked the backyard, which was full of trash and leaves, with rotting, uneven wood on the deck and a loose step that caused me to trip. The entire sliding glass door was covered in duct tape. All four of us felt unsafe, and my husband had an allergy attack from the dust inside. The floors were dirty, and in the main bedroom, there was a hole in the wall and a dirty sock on the floor. The "bedroom" upstairs was only accessible by a steep ladder that felt like climbing into an attic, and it was covered in spiderwebs. There was no way I was letting my kids sleep up there. After trying and failing to reach any manager or staff to address the issues, I canceled the reservation through Hotels.com within 45 minutes of arrival and left, feeling unsafe even in broad daylight. We had to pay another $200 for a different hotel that night because we could not stay there. Despite canceling so quickly and not using the facilities, the property refused to refund any of our money. After looking further into their reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites, I found many concerning reviews I wish I had seen earlier instead of relying on the overall rating. Bottom line: This property is not as advertised, feels unsafe, and has no functioning management support. I do not recommend it to anyone.
