Called office and I told them I didn't think tank needed pumping out in less than a month, but she suggested that we might just need it snaked out. We set up an appointment for 6/29/26 and Jimmy Hodnett came today 6/28 (day early) and found we had a blockage from the house to the distribution box, he used the snake and blockage is gone. Problem stemmed from our purchasing a new toilet about the time the tank was pumped out. It seems newer toilets need to be flushed TWICE to get things moving to septic system. Very grateful for the professional manner in which Jimmy resolved our problem, answered our questions and offered suggestions to "keep things moving" in the future. Thank you! I had a septic service from Martinsville come and all they did was complain, charge me $100 more than the price quoted and did not even try to unstop the drain that ran from the house to the septic tank. I call this "old school" business, quality & professional service, reasonable prices, compassion & care for the customer and going above and beyond to satisfy the customer. He's quite despicable and a disgrace to the Roxboro community who, in my experience, has a great number of reputable, helpful, kind and small-town friendly businesses. I got the impression Kendrick's is way over their head in what they can and cannot handle and may likely be on the way out of business. It would not be a great loss in my opinion.

Worst home inspector in the state of NC. Somehow this man missed not just one but four major…read morefoundation issues. There are literally holes, big gigantic holes in the foundation and not one single mention of them or picture of them in the inspection report he did for us. No mention of any structural problems. He labeled any wall cracks he found as "cosmetic and due to natural settling of house." If this man had done his job, we would not have purchased this home. In fact, the day of the inspection we told him we didn't want a house with any type of foundation issues and to be extra thorough. We called him a week after we moved into this house because a plumber was under the house installing a new hot water heater and called us to come look at the gigantic hole in the foundation. David Myrick came out and admitted that he missed this gigantic hole, stated he would file it on his insurance and it would get fixed asap. Three months later we had to threaten legal action just to get him to file it on his insurance. We had another home inspection company come out to do another inspection to compare it to the one this clown did for us and it was shocking. We don't have just one foundation problem we have four major foundation problems. David Myrick also didn't inspect the deck or even take a picture of it. We found out during the second inspection that nothing about the deck is to code. It isn't even attached to the house, there is no seal plate, no lag bolts, no cross bars and it is 95% rotten. If David Myrick had inspected the deck he would have found another huge foundation problem when he was under the deck. There is a hole in the foundation that is visible when you are underneath the deck. It's big enough that a bear could crawl through it. There are so many other things that this man missed during the inspection that I don't have room to type in all of the problems. This guy is pathetic in every way imaginable. Do not trust David Myrick or Myrick Home Inspections. This guy shouldn't even hold a license to do inspections.
