Sephora is great everywhere and we all know that. I like this one in particular because all of the employees are really nice, and there is a good mix of ages all wearing very different style of makeup. Whenever I look for help at a Sephora, I usually like to ask someone whose makeup I admire. It helps me get a better idea of how they will be able to guide me. Usually I judge a Sephora by how (relatively)clean their display samples appear to be. Samples are gross in general, but nasty samples are just atrocious to look at, and usually equals lazy employees. This spot doesn't have that. All the products are nicely displayed and there isn't a mess anywhere. I wish I would've scheduled a consult with this one employee I was admiring from afar. it's pretty hit or miss. some days they do the acrylic nails way too thick, some days I come out feeling like I'm never going to another salon ever again because some of the workers do great! I come here most of the time because it overall is a good environment...with my experience I think maybe it just an off day. the first time I got my toes done a few months ago, a lady made me bleed cause she said the piece of the nail had to come out. I dont think she "doctored" that correctly because it came back and grew back under my skin and made me uncomfortable. I also didn't end up liking my French tip I got on my toes. blood got into the white and she didn't notice. I think she just wanted to be done with me. It took 4 months for my toe to stop being uncomfortable and it was something I had to fix myself. I received a gift card for sephora so I made a trip to check it out (I usually shop at one of their competitors). It was a day when kids had off from school so there were a lot of moms and daughters shopping. It kind of surprised me because the few categories of items I was looking for seemed to be higher end. But I have heard that sephora had an appeal to the younger crowd, I guess I didn't realize how young. The bright lights and layout had me a bit overwhelmed so I left. Not sure what I will use my gift card on, but will opt for shopping on the website or likely regift it. The store just did make me excited about buying anything. read more

Always busy, never fast service and can be difficult to shop and find products. I always avoid coming here if I have to, but the other day I needed to exchange a gift I'd received since it stopped working. They told me that the item was online only and gave me a merchandise card to order it online at home. I waited 2 weeks for it to be in stock and finally tried to order, then realized the merchandise card said "for in store purchases only". I tried to call the store hoping for some understanding since the cashier told me wrongly, yet they said they couldn't do anything about it and I had to use the card for in store purchases only. Very frustrating since this was not my fault and I was told wrong. read more

I went in to get a refund on 2 products that I got for my girlfriend that were duplicate gifts. My girlfriend asked the manager where to go for refunds and the manager rudely pointed at the register and said there. We then were pulled from the line and were taken to a separate area and a different employee tried to help us with the return, she said that I needed to use my rewards( which I did not sign up for) or a receipt, so she called over the manager and the manager said the same thing. Then said sorry and walked away abruptly. I then went back into the register line and was able to do the return with my debit card like I had read on the Sephora website. I felt like they were trying to cheat me out of $70 or just did not know what to do. Bad customer service out of those 2 employees, especially the manager. Should probably be retrained. read more

The staff at this location is extremely helpful. I think they're pushed to use that color IQ but it's not that accurate; many of the staff are better at eyeballing foundation. They're almost always in stock of popular, high end products, too. I scheduled a custom makeover with Kelsi and she kicked butt! Well Sephora is not a store I fit in! But I'm glad my wife can spend an hour there! And she deserves it, she has sat through me flipping through records for hours on end so... During her hour there, she asked lots of questions and the staff (all dressed in the same black and red cloak that looked like something a Jedi in Star Wars might wear) were very sweet and helpful to her! They gave her tips and advice and even some free samples! It was nice how much time they spent with her, cause I had just bought some Peanut Butter Girl Scout cookies in the mall, so while my wife shopped I ate cookies and listened to the slamming music they were playing in the store! I felt I like I was at a party it was so slamming! Anyway the store is packed to the gils, with good smelling stuff, beauty products, make up's, etc. They have a frequent customer program, that get's you free stuff the more you buy! So thats cool! All in all, the staff treated my wife like a Queen and I got to eat Girl Scout cookies while listening to slamming music! Not a bad hour of my life! read more

Favorite place to get my makeup needs. Been coming here for years to pick up my regular stuff and most helpful place to try out new cosmetics. Great selection of high end make up and other cosmetics. Workers are plenty here and usually helpful. Some are outgoing and some are not, which makes you have to hunt one down sometimes to get help. The outgoing ones are the most helpful and knowledgeable. Nice space and easily located on the west end of the mall near Younkers. Store is stroller friendly but let me warn you, it's really not that much space. I don't recommend a double stroller. I find this location has inventory of what I need and want compared to the one located in JC Penney at Valley West Mall. read more

My 15 yr old son made an appy via email also paid same day he made appointment. I called to confirm as we live an hr and 1/2 away, she then told me she needed to cancel (the day before) as she was going to the farmers market . She said she had tried calling for a week but sons phone got turned off (due to him having to pay for his hair), mind you she had his email and never once reached out to him via email to cancel appt. She did in fact email him the day before his appt reminding him of his appt. With that being said she had a form of communication she did NOT utilize and is now refusing to give a full refund after SHE needed to cancel the appointment! We have obtained an attorney and have contacted the BBB. The lack of professionalism is sickening. going on 2 weeks no communication NOTHING besides my son and I calling! DONT GET YOUR MAKE UP DONE AT SEPHORA!!! ITS A SCAM!! I went to Sephora a day earlier to ask about their make-up services, I was told that apparently they have "LICENSED MAKE UP ARTISTES" so I booked an appointment the next morning. Upon arrival the lady started doing my make up and she was being instructed what to do, she had no idea what she was doing and was making mistakes the whole time. They got my foundation shade wrong and couldn't even replicate the photo they requested of what I'd like. SEPHORA STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE!! As a guy I have accompanied my other half into Sephora many times. This review will be from the experience of me standing around looking at the store while the other half shops. At first glance you can tell Sephora is always kept modern and sleek with their design for the store. As I look at all the products in the store I can tell they are the "trending" items currently in society, even though I do not know what they exactly are. The products seen overpriced, but I believe their quality is high. The staff members are always friendly here, always willing to help you find something or answer questions about products. read more

She was wonderful in not only explaining what the products and was for, but also for finding me some inexpensive products. I already love Sephora stores, but this location is over the top in terms of customer service. I worked with Nikki, who did a great mini makeover for me and loaded me down with free samples before I left. While the sale/clearance section is sparse, I was able to get stuff I don't normally see at bigger Sephoras. I've had to return a few things, but the process is quick. read more

The employees at this Sephora (save for the holiday help) are IT. They go above and beyond, offering samples and their advice on any product you could possibly need. The stock leaves something to be desired however, as they keep phasing out my favorite products. What girl doesn't love Sephora? The store is beautiful and clean, and the lighting makes just about everything look amazing on your skin. Sephora sells some of my favorite brands, so it is a one-stop shop for me. The staff is one of the top selling points for me, too. They are helpful but don't hover, and they definitely work with your budget and needs.
