Piper has been my stylist from the beginning- she is wonderful and everything you could want in a stylist- friendly, explains every service well, answers all my questions and great At conversation. I also love how collaborative this team is, if a stylist can't get you in they work really well with their team to get you in. They share formulas and it's truly collaborative at Amara. Complimentary beverages upon arrival. They discuss every service and price point before starting to make sure you are comfortable and they also work around your budget too. I've personally had my hair done by both Piper and Addison who are wonderful but the whole team is super friendly. I have also had my daughter's hair cut here by Piper and she is wonderful and patient with kids as well. This salon is also very beautiful and just did an expansion and remodel of their beautiful space to welcome more stylists to the team. I've received a lot of compliments since no one could tell it was a spray tan. There were no streaks or more color in one section over another. She checks on you the next day to make sure you are happy with the color. I also did the bikini wax and for the first time ever, it didn't hurt at all. No irritation and no issues. I used to do Wax in the City and they would just hurry through to get the next client in, but not Justine. She spends time making sure it's correct and happy. First time at this spa and already have my next appointment booked! Her prices are wonderful too!

The main reason I'm writing this is because of one employee. She has dark hair, younger, I'd guess…read more26, but I don't know. Anyway, she's polite, helpful, knowledgeable and conscientious. She's always on time (and there's been three time in 2 weeks other employees were a little late opening) which is a big deal for me because I have a lot to get done before noon every day. I assumed she was the manager, but asked today and she is not. The owner should be grooming her for that job right now. She's pretty and obviously uses the tanning beds herself so she's a walking, talking advertisement and saleswoman for the store.
