This time some started to peel within days. I wanted them to last till Halloween so i went back to get that rectified but wanted a jelly pedicure n that was awesome. But when i mentioned the finger nail peels n showed them to her, Annie's face (the owner) changed from :) to :( i told her that im no expert but i think it was incorrect to file the edges after the top coat was applied because top coat seals everything n prevents peeling. Close to the final stage of top of the line pedicure, Annie came up to the chair armed with the nail lamp n stripper. She stripped the affected peeled parts only. Then she applied the dust n applied lamp heat. U can still see the peels under the poor excuse of rectifications. Half ass done to a $60 manicure. I tip very well for my vanity privileges. I also recalled having my nails done at the pedicure chair when i wanted a regular polish. When fingernails are shaped n painted while in a pedicure chair, it doesnt give good results. When u are a service business, u will get unsatisfied customers. Practice giving sincere apologies even if u question in your mind that the customer may have caused the bad nail polish results. Annie doesnt apologize. U see her :) when customers arent troublesome. I guarantee u that no one wants to b troublesome but i paid for top of the line pedicure AND manicure. I expect the BEST. DEFINITELY WONT GO BACK. No loss to her im sure.

I had called ahead and made myself an appointment, but they definitely take walk ins. It was a Friday morning and they were already busy with a wedding party. Those girls seemed to be enjoying themselves and the services they were receiving, so it made for a lively morning. I was pleased to see how clean it was and that they lined the pedicure bowls with a plastic liner. I opted for the deluxe pedicure ($35) that included a hot stone massage, a clay mask for my legs and I believe a paraffin dip as well? The massage chair was perfect, in fact, that whole morning and experience was. The woman that did my toes was very pleasant and happy to chat with me. I brought a book to read, but didn't want to be rude as she was friendly to speak with. I will definitely be going here again. Thanks fellow Yelpers for pointing me in this direction!

We were greeted immediately and sat in the large leather seats (with personal back massager) after picking out a color from the large assortment of options. They were busy due to homecoming this weekend, but everyone was very polite. The owner introduced herself and there was a variety of different people and ages there being assisted. I was left to soak for about 10 minutes while my attendant finished the nails of another customer, but I was not in a hurry so I was fine waiting. One reason I do not frequent nail salons, is because of some bad experiences I have had in the past with the place not being clean or having the attendants speak their own language very loudly the entire time (and it seemed like they were talking about their customers too). Well, each of the attendants spoke English at Tips & Toes and occasionally spoke Vietnamese between themselves. I never had the feeling they were talking poorly about anyone and I had a fun time visiting with my friend and my attendant Anna in a clean environment. I even decided to get a manicure at the last minute and I am looking forward to returning for my touch ups. Even my honey said my nails look great. I literally slammed my right hand in the car door the following day and none of the smashed nails fell off until after a week and a half of growth and additional stress on the damaged hand only- my left hand is grown out af but still in immaculate shape.
