    I went in to buy a fragrance, and not a single employee offered to help us choose anything. At first I assumed it was just because they were busy, but then I watched the staff fully assist another customer, showing her options and helping her swatch. My husband and I felt completely ignored, like we were an afterthought for simply wanting to sample scents. I felt a bit of classism with our lack of assistance, but that might be my own projection. When I finally asked someone to grab the perfume I wanted, the employee who helped us was incredibly rude. I'm not sure if this is an issue with Sephora in general or just this Studio City location, but I genuinely regret spending my money here. I only didn't give one star because the fragrance selection itself was nice.

    I want to say a massive shoutout to Rue that works in this location. She is my makeup fairy godmother at this point! Every time I come to Sephora and she is here she is so so personable, genuine and nurturing to help me find exactly what I want. She really wants you to find the products of your dreams. Every time I leave with what she has suggested, I fall in love with the product. The gal is the best at what she does. Thank you so much Rue!

    Amber at Sephora is AMAZING. I came in feeling completely lost because I don't know much about makeup at all, but she took her time with me and explained everything so patiently and clearly. She made sure I understood what each product was for, how to apply it, and what would work best for my look. I left feeling confident and excited to do my makeup, like I learned so much in one visit. Amber truly listened to what I wanted and it felt like she understood me so well. She's the best!

    So much good stuff! Don't sleep on the Sephora brand!

    Trying out the samples was easy, and everything I wanted was in stock and easy to find next to the samples. There are makeup-removing stations to remove samplings. (Also, hand sanitizers.) Purchasing is easy because instead of standing in line, a staff member can simply check you out - if you're paying by card. All staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful. This time, Sophie helped me the most. Thanks, Sophie!

    A big shout out to Laura! I have an event tonight, and I need to get pretty in a hurry. She helped me pick out some tinted moisturizer and bronzer and gave me a quick little tutorial on how to brush on the bronzer. Laura was sweet and fun and fast! Ask for her Sephora.

    My wife wanted to stop by this Sephora location after we finish eating brunch at a place in the same plaza. I found parking just fine in the plaza but if you come after lunch time then it might be more difficult because of the Trader Joe's. When we walked inside the store, we were greeted by the worker. Just be aware that there only 1 entrance and you'll have to walk to where Ventura is because there no entrance from the parking lot. The store is a decent size but is organized. I went to look at the cologne area while my wife was shopping. I tried smelling some of the cologne options but didn't like any of the ones I sprayed. My wife found some stuff that she liked and a worker was very helpful with her. This store does take Apple Pay as a payment and when we were there, it did take a while to checkout with 2 cashier.

    Honestly the worst! I got color matched here and they didn't have it in stock so I had to go to universal location to get it. When I tried foundation at home it's the totally wrong shade for me so I called tonight at 7:30 since they close at 8 and asked them to hold my shade for me and that I'll be in at 10am tomorrow to do an exchange. They told me they could not hold it until tomorrow morning. I was told to order online to pick it up in store...except that my item is showing OUT OF STOCK so I could NOT purchase for a BOPIS. Upon explaining this the employee told me her supervisor was "very stern" that they could not hold the item for 20 minutes for me at the end of the day and I had to order online and pick up in store which I literally can't on their app or website because it says out of stock even though the employee said they have it and checked! I also don't want to pay again when I just have an even exchange. Everything at this store is an issue. Don't even get me started when I tried to use my gift card here and they made me feel like a criminal and I had to call corporate to verify myself! Just horrible service all around, high prices but no service. Turn over here is very high never the same people. My favorite brow artist mykel is gone and when I tried the new girl the wax was wayyy too hot and I had red marks under my eyebrows and was left sensitive for a few days. I've been a Rouge for at least the last 5 years but I'm slowly finding myself making the drive to noho west Ulta. Turns out ulta will hold the product for me so I'll just return to Sephora and spend my money with ulta lol.

My negative review is for the 100% lack of support when my treatment wasn't as expected. I bought a Groupon for two micro-needling treatments for the price of one. I'd never done micro-needling before and came to find out that it's not for my skin type. I now have broken capillaries where I had none before, and I'm not sure if that was due to my skin type or too deep a treatment. All good. These things happen. I realize that I tried this treatment at my own risk. I reached out on two separate occasions to the Skin Agency to try to help me navigate a path forward, and they have not acknowledged me. I didn't ask for a refund. I asked for a consultation and a potential pivot to a different treatment that would be better suited for my skin. I was really disappointed to learn that The Skin Agency is not interested in helping me develop a skincare plan or navigate treatment plans moving forward. We have SO many options of med spas and treatments to try these days. I'm sure they wont miss me, but I personally don't care to invest in a company that's not interested in investing in me.
