I was in the area on the 29th of last month around 4:40pm and noticed this lovely, beautiful, elegant, classy, chic store. Everything is made organic. I have heard of this place and have seen their products used in high-end hotels. This store has everything from flowers, scented candles, books, blankets, greeting cards, lotions, body scrubs, variety of perfumes in different sizes/scents. Cute knick knacks and also saw large vases. They also sell detergent and tote bags. I wanted to buy something, but it was a tad expensive for my budget. Doesn't hurt to look around or do window shopping, does it? When I got home, I ordered some of their samples online. Each one cost $5.00. Great service by Melanie and Jewel. I was told that it will take less than a week for my samples to arrive. Looking forward to it!:-) I will return, if and when I have some money. Don't know much about their parking situation, but they have plenty of parking on Ventura blvd, and on the side streets. Place was spotless clean! Everything smelled nice and clean. read more

I'm officially obsessed! I ordered samples online, the samples were larger than I expected and it gave me a chance to get an idea if I like the way the perfumes wear on me. The samples can be bought in sets or individually ($5 per sample, $40 for sets). I'm normally a floral gal, but the tabac vanille (Tobacco-infused vanilla scent with a hint of sweetness and musky undertones) was divine! I do wish they would list descriptions of all of their parfums. Some are listed but not all. read more

Received several candles as gifts recently when my husband and I opened our 4th recording studio here in LA. We have several throughout LA and a business associate of ours gifted us a few of these large candles as an "opening" gift. I was ordering a few cakes today at the store nearby and decided to walk in to the store as I had never been in. I am so convinced this was a "Pretty Woman" scenario. We had a big recording artist doing an all night session and I had been at the studio all night. Hair in a messy bun. Jeans and a sweatshirt. No make up. Walked into the store while the person working (girl with long dark hair - around 12:30pm on 5/28) was finishing helping a customer. Overheard the sales associate talking to her about the candles used at Hotel Bel Aire and she seemed lovely - to the other customer. That customer left and I was alone. In the store. I browsed and smelled some candles. Looked at some flip flops and cute little sun screen options at the front. NOT A WORD. not a hello. Not a - can I help you with anything? Wouldn't even look at me. I spent a few more minutes there and after feeling so uncomfortable and unwelcomeI left. Not a goodbye. Not a thank you. Literally NOTHING. I will continue buying my TRUDON and FORNASETTI and LOEWE candles and shop at boutiques that value me as a customer. Never again will I step foot into this place or buy from them. read more

I am obsessed with this brand. The candles smell amazing and last forever. My personal favorite scent is the 5ème Quartier Latin Santal Èpicer. I found this brand through the Four Seasons hotel spa and I am so glad I did. The candles are worth the money & they make my entire home & place of work smell incredible! Melanie, the owner is a great business woman & she truly cares about her brand and making her customers happy. Everything she sells is in pure form & freshly made. The body scrubs & body washes are also amazing. I will not buy another candle from any other location & I can't say enough about the brand and the reputation of it! read more

two stars because this candle shop used to be my all time fav but quality has since then gone down. they changed the formula on their candles which i noticed with my marmont lane. it no longer burns evenly and the smell is ever so faint now. i would by 5-6 candles at a time (burn it religiously in my home as well as gifting them to family and friends) therefore this was a big change and noticeable. for a boutique that prides themselves in being a luxury candle store they definitely lack the customer service. i custom ordered a scent i to be made into a perfume but the warehouse was so disorganized. they messed up my order even though i got instructions from someone who works there. they told me to go online and order a different scent then to put notes as to what scent i actually wanted. the store called me a week later to let me know my order is ready to pick up but when they mentioned the scent, it was the wrong one (they random scent they told me to pick online). what's the point of inputting notes it they weren't going to read it? they said they would fix it and fast forward three weeks fly but no one reached out to me. i literally had to call the warehouse again to hunt down my order which again took another week to be made. all in all i didn't get my order until 4 weeks later which was a perfume scent i wanted to try for my wedding. i called way too many times and the only person who heard out my frustrations and got the ball moving was the production manager priscilla. i'm pretty disappointed--i picked up my order at the storefront but no service remediation. so much for luxury. read more

Purchased santal fragrance from seller online as we purchase a lot from this seller wholesale for 3 stores year round - normally we buy the small fragrance with roller and on site there is a bigger bottle with spray but description is Eu De Purfume as the small bottle Apparently it's not same because NOW after spending money the bigger bottle is diluted with alcohol so it can spray and the small bottle is pure form diluted with coconut oil Owner calls me and tells me fragrance was made recently and needs time for the fragrance to ferment and it will Obsorb alcohol in a few days. Sorry my Client is going to Cannes and needs a fragrance that is working now I explained - conversation got heated and owner was very Defensive and said I'll just refund your money, "just keep the bottle" now she doesn't refund for bad batch of water down fragrance until shipment is returned and no fedex has picked up yet, be warned please DO NOT pay almost $18 + cost of fragrance and have a Bad batch that is weakened sent to you it's not worth it, be cautious and not to mention her silly Comment via text message about Isis and the terrorism going on now what is that all about? read more
