What an absolute delight it is every time we visit Parfums Raffy. It's an entertainment. This shop reminds me of the way mid century luxury boutiques were operating. The best place to find a very special gift for someone from a modest price to an expensive rare fragrance. We have been shopping there for decades. Bad customer shopping experience. Entitled store, pressures you to hurry up, does not have any parking despite parking lot advertised, parking supervisor would not let me park in the parking lot Raffy advertises as theirs - said it was for Mel's (next door) only. When asked about parking they said they do have parking but you only have 'X' minutes to park there and buy something before you need to leave or you will be towed. The selection is good but the experience does not make the prices worth it. If you are going to spend on a luxury perfume...go somewhere that makes the environment and experience worth the money you are spending (Larchmont Blvd, Beverly Hills' Neiman or boutique perfume store on Beverly Drive, even Topanga Mall.) There is a limit on how many fragrances you can smell, which is understandable considering their perfumes are pricey and they don't want to waste them, but if you're spending hundreds of dollars it's the least they can do, I've never experienced that or any limit in general at any other high end perfumery. Over all, not worth the experience or money, go somewhere else actually worth it. Very shameful and disrespectful experience. Experience does not match the transaction price. Large inventory is only positive. Would never go back. read more

I was not impressed with this place. Don't get me wrong. They sell fine, authentic, niche fragrances from such houses as Parfums de Marly, Mancera, Initio, Ormonde Jayne, Boadicea the Victorious, and Goldfield & Banks, just to name a few. I even appreciated the fact that the employees/associates spray samples for you on test strips to avoid waste. My issue was with the service. It was abhorrent. I was there on a Saturday afternoon. I made some small talk with the owner revealing that I am a cologne collector and fragrance enthusiast. There was one other customer in the store who was purchasing about 5 expensive fragrances that were being gift wrapped. I understand the magnitude of this sale, but it was not necessary to have two individuals tending to that customer while ignoring me. Sorry Parfums Raffy. Your loss. I was ready to buy BTV Green Sapphire that day. I will take my business to Beverly Hills Perfumery. read more

I am so happy I decided to stop here. I felt it was time for me to finally get a "smell" for myself, and after driving by here for years, I decided to stop by. Raffy was so kind, professional, and patient. I gave him a very basic idea of what I thought I liked, a price range, and we went from there. I left with a few samples and came back a week later and bought 2 that I fell in love with! When I came back to buy my perfumes, my grandma and sister came with me. My sister started from scratch like me, and my grandma brought in a perfume she's worn for years but has been discontinued. Raffy smelled it and went straight to a perfume that smelled nearly identical. My grandma was so happy! Seriously, I can't state enough how great of an experience this was.
