Eventually I got seen and I explained the color I wanted. Showed photos. And there was no help on what I should choose..?? They showed me the wall and said to pick. I was like, my other stylist has many colors and we choose together. But that's not how they work I guess. They asked if I wanted permanent or demi and I said permanent. They showed me two options of colors but neither were really what I wanted. I'm not a hair stylist, but I asked if the ones I chose (they mixed them) would be light enough for my hair. Especially the roots. They assured me it would. But it didn't. After my coloring, not only was the color way darker than I wanted. (I wanted a fiery but natural red copper). But you could see my roots still. Two different shades. And to make matters worse, I found out the shade was actually Demi permanent. The one highlight is that the girl who washed my hair was very sweet. I could tell some staff members were kind and maybe a few were just stressed that day, not expecting it to be so busy. Overall definitely disappointed. I really wanted to like this place because they use good, cruelty free products. But not worth the price. I could've done that at home and saved $120.

They carry high-quality blow dryers and even have micro-current machines that can help reduce wrinkles and revitalize your skin. Every time I go there, he turns me on to a new wonderful product. He has made so many great recommendations on everything from hair care to nail care to skin. It's a high end brand from the UK and they have awesome skincare and makeup products. One of the great things about Planet Beauty is that they have great sales- especially after the holidays. They sell a ton of kits and most of them are up to 50% off so that's when I stock up! If you are a member and spend a certain amount, you can get a standard 15% off your purchases. They also give great samples with every purchase as well. The people that works there are always nice and friendly. They give great recommendations. They also sell candles and jewelry. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted because I've been using the same two eyeliners for years. I walked through the store twice trying to find it but couldn't. Eventually, an employee asked if I needed help and pointed me to the display, only to tell me that what was out was all they had left. Unfortunately, the eyeliner I normally use was out of stock, so I ended up buying a different one. The worst part of my visit was checking out. The cashier, Jennifer, was unfriendly from the start. When I asked to redeem my birthday gift, she told me I wasn't a Beauty Insider and then said my birthday wasn't listed on my account. After that was sorted out, she showed me the available birthday gifts. My husband asked which birthday gift she would recommend, and her response was simply, "I don't know, depends on you." As I was trying to read what each gift included, I could tell she was getting impatient. She sighed multiple times and tapped her nails on the counter while I was deciding. At other Sephora locations, employees have always been happy to briefly explain the options, so this felt like a very different experience. I also paid with gift cards, and every time one didn't immediately scan or swipe, she would mutter things like "ugh" or "oh my God." It really gave the impression that she didn't want to be there, and unfortunately that attitude made the entire checkout experience uncomfortable.
