The selection is solid, with plenty of options whether I'm restocking a favorite or wandering around pretending I know exactly what I'm looking for. There always seem to be lots of staff members around, and they're usually quick to offer help without hovering. I also love how conveniently located it is right in the center of the mall, which makes it easy to pop in and grab what I need while shopping. Not my first choice in cosmetic stores, but my kids enjoy coming here once in a while. We had some time to kill when we were waiting for a table at a local restaurant, so our group came here to browse and shop. I'm pretty sensitive to perfumes and there's some strong ones in here that hit right when you walk in. The place is always really busy and the line to purchase meanders through the store. A lot of the testers are in pretty poor shape currently. I do enjoy watching my kids shop and find what they're looking for. read more

My friend & I dropped by to browse the store. We came across Huda Beauty products and they had an offer to buy 4 items and get the base brush for free. The sweet employee there did a skin match for me but they ran out of Butter Pecan, so I purchased it online to be delivered to my home later. Then I tried their glassy lips products. I fell in love with the Foxy shade and bought the Rich Brown lip contour along with it. I loved how it made my lips look! Plus, I bought the Sugar Baby shade for my friend to complete the 4 items. I normally always have good vibes from this Sephora but today was wonderful . I'm really big on skin care and unfortunately for the past week I've noticed my eyes being dryer and I looked up a bunch on solutions and ultimately concluded that it might be multiple things but primarily my concealer. I went in and I received a lot of help from a worker Priscila . I was really stressed about my under eyes because they were starting to burn and I couldn't figure out why. She applied this awesome eye cream and then helped me find the best concealer for dryness but that would also match what my skin needed which was hydration . I was happy with the service and overall very thankful for priscila she was also very informative and super cool to talk to read more

Luckily, he took the time to ask me my skin type, the kind of coverage and how I want the foundation to look when finished. After telling him I have oily skin and prefer a matte finish he advised me the brand I was interested in wouldn't be the best fit and found me a better brand that also happened to be 50% off SCORE. The line to pay was long and only 1 person at register, so I asked the associate if they could pls put someone else to help at register but she said no bc they are "all with customers" And walked away. So basically I feel like they're more focused on earning commission rather than finish the job and help get us out of there. Love Sephora. This location is not as big as some of their other locations, but they are well stocked. Even with some of their promotions going on, sale items were still to be found on their shelves. This is the closest sephora to my house and I still refuse to go in unless I'm actually desperate. Every time I come in, which is few and far between nowadays thanks to the unprofessional customer service, I'm met with an up-and-down look rather than a hello. I have to practically beg for help if I'm looking for something new. I tried letting the store clerk at the register know about the front's consistently rude behavior every time I have to visit this location, and was told that she "would talk to her." Talk to who? Because I didn't give a name or description about the specific person/people, I didn't even get a chance to. I was basically waved/laughed off after my transaction was finished. This review is purely based off a telephone inquiry. I called in prior to me going into the store to make sure they had the product I wanted in stock, I called because when I went to the chino hills location earlier last week they didn't have the product I was looking for and politely let me know that they would most likely not have any newer products since they haven't received anything since March. I found the first product that I was looking for but circled the store a few times before finding the eyeliner kit I was looking for. They had a good amount of stock on product, the store was clean and there seemed to be a good amount of employees which is always a good thing. To keep this short, train your beauty advisors better and hire quality employees. I hope corporate sees this. This was my very first Sephora experience. I came in looking to get color matched with the machine and an advisor. First off, I'm a licensed cosmetologist who has done makeup on others since 2009. I know how to color match but I wanted to test out what the machine recommended because there are a LOT of brands out there and my old standby changed the formula. I was told there would be a 10 minute wait so I waited in that general area playing with some of the products. After 45 minutes I found the employee who originally told me 10 mins and she acted like she had never seen me before (even though we had a conversation about having the same name, Sara/h when I checked in). Weird but ok. She says she's going to find the beauty advisor. Nobody shows up and she disappears again. Another 30 mins or so goes by and a male employee asks if I need help. I tell him what's happened and he personally goes and finds the beauty advisor, Caroline, and sends her my way. She tries to convince me she came looking for me an hour ago and that I wasn't standing right where I was for over an hour. It's close to closing time now and she absolutely has 0 desire to help me. I tell her I just want to get scanned by the machine and I want 2 recommendations for a full coverage foundation. Instead, she leads me to a skin care product that cancels redness and tries to convince me I have rosacea (I do not, but I did stand around in this hot store for over an hour so I'm probably flushed). She gives me a sample of this stuff that is not foundation and then tries to convince me I am a cool tone and gives me a sample of another foundation that I do not believe is full coverage. Not only is she actively arguing with me about my skin tone (that I can clearly see is Miss Piggy pink with this swatch when I am a neutral through and through) but she gets pissed that I ask for a sample of a neutral toned foundation. She literally said "But it's NOT YOUR COLOR!". I finally tell her I just want the machine to scan me. She has me enter my name, email, and other info into a handheld device and scans my skin. She says it will email me results. I walk out, upset I did not even get the samples of what I originally asked for, and I wait for the email. It doesn't come through for about 45 minutes. Funny enough the color matches HER skin color, tone, and texture and came through well after they closed the store. I am of Scandinavian descent and it shows, but it was the color match of a Hispanic skin tone. I go to another location the next day and they got my results instantly, correctly, and did not have any sort of attitude. The new location goes to sign me up for an account and the system says I have one and that my email is a Yahoo email which I've never had in my life. I typed the correct email into that device the day before at Rancho, because obviously I was emailed wrong results, but clearly someone switched it after I got the results emailed to me. None of that makes sense. I will NOT be going to this location ever again and I recommend anyone reading this avoids it as well. Go to Redlands for a way better experience. This location is trash. read more

Will never come back here again I came in to restock for my makeup kit and shop around I was with my husband and child two ladies kept asking me if I needed any help and i repeatedly said no thank you very nicely and they kept staring at me non stop and asking over and over I almost said I'm a mua im good if I need help I would ask they just non stop stalked me through the store I bought my couple products and left I didn't even have a purse or pockets to steal and they were treating as if I would I felt super uncomfortable I will never shop here again it's just uncomfortable and seeing past reviews I'm guessing it happens a lot here and it's not cool! This is a pretty average Sephora. It's not that big, but at least it carries HudaBeauty products, which is the very popular, always sold-out brand I get the most of these days. The employees are about the same at ALL locations and I've been to enough to know...somewhat smug, disingenuine, and not that welcoming. However, it's one of my closer locations, which is why I still go. Terrible experience coming to this Sephora. I came Into this store today wanting to return some sleeping pills that I purchased online called HUM beauty zzz. This bottle came with 30 capsules I had only taken it twice with resulting migraines so I decided to return. Only have using it twice it was left with 28 capsules. As I attempted to return the the cashier shows the bottle to the manager named LAURA which has extremely poor customer service skills and should not be entitled to that position. She tells me that I can't do the return because it's almost empty. I was extremely embarrassed in the way she approached me and accused me in front of customers and other employees stating that I had consumed almost the entire bottle and she could not do my return. She repeated it a couple of times, I was shocked that she would be so certain of how much I had consumed from the bottle with out even counting the pills. I was so upset she was basically calling me a liar In front of other customer. So I tell Laura "look at this point i can care less that you do this return but I am going to count these pills in front of you to prove that I only consumed two pills". So I count one by one and what a surprise it was 28. How is that almost an empty bottle with only two missing tablets. I am not the manufacturer and it is not my fault they made a big bottle for small tablets. She handled the situation poorly and As a manager she should have apologized for accusing me of lying and for something she wasn't even certain of. She was accusing me of wanting to return a almost empty bottle and should have acknowledge the fact that she humiliated me in front of other customers. People were starring it was so embarrassing. Her reaction and response to me proving myself that it had the 28 that I stated was "oh well yes I see yeah we can do the return I just didn't want to touch your pills if you kept them" and walked away. I have always loved coming to Sephora and I spend allot of money here never have I experienced a situation like this. But that LAURA so called of a manager should not be entitled to that position and needs some training on customer service. read more
