Trash! My wife went in to get a present for her friend's birthday last weekend. She was told the item was in storage and the store hasn't done" Shipment" yet. One week later she goes in for the same item that says on the website "the item is ready for in store pickup" she goes back to the store and they told her yet again the item is in shipment. Disappointed. I had bought some lashes. The girl who had helped me recommended a certain lash and said they were natural looking. That is a matter of opinion. I tried them on at home. I don't find them to be natural looking on me. But I understand it's a matter of opinion. I wanted to exchange them because I was dissatisfied and they were $18. I understand they can't resell them as new however any discount on an even more natural pair would have been appreciated. No consideration was given. She said I could have tried them on. I went in looking for something specific they happened to be out of stock of, but was recommended a nice, although slightly heavier and more costly alternative concealer. This is absolutely embarrassing for me to have to write this review. I came into this Sephora today and was trying to return a vitamin C serum I picked up on February 24th 2021. As it takes a day for information to process, on my credit card it shows up February 25th. This is important. I came in trying to return this item because it was already opened and USED. I did not use the item and went to willow grove that day to return it. The women said I should go back to this Sephora (english village) for an exchange. I COULD have gotten a gift card back in that moment. I didn't except my experience at this Sephora would be so awful I had to make this review. Sephora has a policy where you are not allowed to return products half empty. So as I tried to return the product, the women I spoke to prevented me from doing so. She stated her policy clearly. It has been three days since I bought the product, it is COMPETELY idiotic if she excepted I half of the bottle. I was not mad at her but was frustrated with the policy. So I end up not returning it and buying a new vitamin C serum for $98. But I still have this other one that I don't want to use because of Covid and because it was opened which is an obvious health hazard to myself if I used the bottle. As I was paying for it I tried to use my Sephora credit card for the first time. Another women then told me that my last 4 digits of my social does not add up with my government issued state divers license. And that they are unable to to process the card. I ask them, what shall I do? As I do not work at Sephora or the bank that owns the card or know how this whole system works, it isn't unusual for someone to ask. The women then says "the government?" as if I am not who I say I am. At this moment I was shocked. I felt insulted, and felt as if the two people who helped me out believed I was lying about my social or whatnot. But then she does say that it could be an error in the system, but I still feel insulted about the implication. and it did take a few moments for her to actually say some sort of value and it was "it could be due to the system" So as I checked out using my usual debit card, it gave me the idea to check my credit statement. The women who was talking to me earlier about the Vitamin C mentioned that it was purchased in Willow Grove. I did not purchase such in Willow Grove. I purchased at the english Village. I go into the car and check my statement, found it! Proof I bought it here! I go inside again to show her my statement! She says that the sephora website said it was from Willow Grove and that I should return it there. Willow grove told me to go back to the english village because that's where it would be in stock if I bought it there. I also bought a drunk elephant conditioner and tachta oil pads that day. The total was 125.16. This processed on the 25th. The women then responds sugessting I bought it twice and keeps asking me if I used a different card. She did not believe me? I feel completely, COMPLETELY disrespected by the two women who worked here and am planning to get their names for an official complaint with Sephora as they did not believe me and acted as if I was in the wrong. I will be mentioning the reason I will not be using the USED serum. And now that I think about it, I bought another vitamin C serum. It is ridiculous that they implied that I used two credit cards to buy the same set of 3 products to then return it. As the women even mentioned. My sephora account goes back years. I have been an avid spending at Sephora for years and now am planning to close my credit card (which hasn't arrived yet) and will be going to Ulta for now on. I recently just grabbed another 100 points and 500 point reward. My money will no longer be going to this company. To get to the point and to avoid my grammar errors. I did not use two credit cards to buy the same 3 products on TWO different sephora accounts to only empty half the bottle of ONE of the products to then return. I had two Sephora products : one face powder one face color , the containers made of plastic fell apart and there were still product left. I took them back to the store hoping Shephora would replace them and the manager would not replace them. She said it was over 60 days and she couldn't exchange them. Needless to say i wont be purchasing Shephora products again. read more

So far my experience with this store has been very positive. I've had pleasant service. After not buying makeup in quite some time, I was in a time crunch to put on my best face as a wedding guest. The young woman who helped me select products was very accommodating and seemed well-informed. She helped me test various products. When I later realized the foundation I bought had more coverage than I prefer, I was able to return it for no refund. All the store personnel there are very friendly and professional, and I like that there's a variety of makeup lines to choose from. Looking forward to a make-up mini to try again for the perfect foundation. read more
