I walked in and they took me, which was nice. i asked for them to do builder gel, and they were almost judging me or wanting that. I asked for a design on one nail, they said they could do it! But news flash, they couldn't. My nails were probably about 80 bucks, just for them to turn out nothing like the photo I provided. Also, some of the nails weren't even fully painted. I was here last wk and the entire experience I had with Sharon was terrible and I left with a sloppy paint job. Her tone was very off putting; meanwhile chatting with her coworker the entire time. The other time I had Stephany. She made me make an apt with her the next time which was very uncomfortable. I was pushed to get extra treatments to my pedi without price disclosing. I used to like coming here but until they get rid of the older workers who can't paint and has no manners I will probably not be returning. read more

I've been a regular at this salon for over 10 years, but I won't be returning. I came in for a pedicure and was told I no longer existed in their system. They said they transferred all the old card boxes into the computer and removed anyone who hadn't visited in over a year. Aside from the fact that that hardly seems fair, it's also not relevant to me: I've been there five times in the past year, including earlier this year when I was told my points had transferred to their new system. The staff member was very nice but said she would only credit me for five visits (300 points), even though I had no way to confirm how many I had since last cashing in my points. I wasn't supposed to keep track of my points. They were! I asked her if she could just comp me for my pedi and she said a pedicure was 1000 points and she was only giving me 300. I might've had over 1000 points but we'll never know. I had been saving my points for a spa pedicure. I judge a business more on how they address a mistake than on the mistake itself. They accidentally deleted me from their system. OK. But how did they address it? By assuring me that I was in their system on one visit and then in the next visit admitting that I wasn't in the system and not even comping me for a $35 pedicure to rectify the situation. They had told me originally that it would cost $65 for the inspiration picture I provided them with. It took almost 2 hours for them to do a simple set of acrylic nails and when I got to the checkout desk, they told me that my total was $103 and then proceeded to demand a tip. I am 17 years old and I work as a waitress and make close to nothing. For them to jack up the price by almost $40 was not right and on top of it demanding a tip is completely unprofessional. I love this place but so really was disappointed with my last experience. I came in to get acrylic nails taken off and a gel manicure put on. Pretty simple request. I started with one nail tech and midway through was switched to another. The first tech was so rough and cut my pointer finger on my left hand. Also, when they switched nail techs, they didn't communicate that I wanted gel so I ended up leaving with a regular manicure. I didn't even realize she wasn't doing gel until she was on my second coat. This was yesterday and my nails have already started chipping and one is all wrinkled. I purposely get gel because I work with my hands and train martial arts so regular will chip right away. Disappointed for a salon so close to my house!! read more

i have been here three previous times. each time I made an appointment. Although they ran late, by 5-10 minutes, it wasn't bad. Today was a different story. I made my appointment two weeks ago. After being asked to move to a different chair twice, and waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled time, I asked when someone would be helping me, as I had to leave in half an hour for another appointment. this is the worst salon I have ever gone to. my mother normally way over tips (70%) and she has memory problems so I didn't realize she was doing it, once i did I started paying when we went together and taking care of the tip which was a normal 20%. Two of their workers followed me out to my car to insist that we need to tip them more since my mother normally tips more!! they literally followed me out to the car and tapped on my window to ask for more money from me. I will never go back and tell everyone I know to never come here. On top of that disrespectful scene they are so rude to me as well as my daughter who goes there sometimes without us. Each time she goes she is rushed through and other walk ins after her are serviced before her because since she's a young girl they don't pay attention to. Jokes on them because she works in the service industry herself and knows how to properly tip but they see a young college student and are rude and barely take care of her. My experience started when i walked into the door. I walked in and asked to see a menu of their services. The father who barely spoke English said OK and his daughter behind him whispered over there. The father came back with a lamented menu. I really wanted a take-out paper menu to take with me, but this sufficed. When i asked if it was ok to take a picture of the menu, the daughter in the back yell over to me "I dont like you take picture". I was taken back, because i was only taking picture of the menu not the salon. Well this was a huge turn-off. And being a cosmetologists myself, i did not see any official licenses on the wall that indicated the girls were licensed. In my opinion that is not how you conduct business with a new possible client. So my need to get my nail/pedicure will go elsewhere, where i am respected and not yelled. read more

I went to Coco nails for my wedding and had such wonderful treatment and probably because it was my wedding. I just went on Saturday with my mom and I had this lady who wasn't very nice. She didn't even do a great job. It's very mediocre. And before she painted my nails, she stopped everything and with this blank face said, "You pay now." No smile. Nothing. I didn't care for her. I am a busy mom juggling kids and a couple of part time jobs and rarely get to pamper myself with a pedicure. This Nail salon I actually like going too. They do really good work and they give you a massage. Yes the prices are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. They do great waxing services, and I have gotten a pedicure and dip nails from here. They are receptive to what I like and they are a great service. I always tip well because I understand the business since my mom has worked 40 years as a cosmetologist. If you are someone that does not like tipping people then you probably shouldn't go to nail or hair salons if you can't respect the service they give you. read more

I got a regular manicure. It was priced very well at $12. The ladies were super nice at Coco Nails! The manicure was very relaxing (the paint job itself was just average) but they massage your hands very well and it's super relaxing!! They dried the polish with a fan, but they give you a wonderful shoulder massage while your nails are drying! I don't get manicures often (I usually just do them myself) but my nails are brittle so I needed a manicure in order to properly cut and shape them. I will definitely be returning to Coco Nails in the future ! read more

I'm giving two stars because my nails look spectacular. Other than that, I was very dissatisfied with my experience. When I came in, I asked if there was a student discount, and the lady at the desk told me yes, there was a 30% discount. However, after they finished painting my nails, I was told that the discount did not apply to the service I asked for, which was a gel acrylic refill. Had they been honest with me at the beginning, I would have appreciated it much more. So students, if you want to save money, you're better off finding another nail salon. read more

I gave this place quite a few shots in the summer but after the poor treatment I got I will never be back. I kept going cause it was close and reasonably priced. My last time here the girl literally ripped apart 3 of my fingers and made my cuticles bleed to the point where they were painful for a week. With each bloody finger she would keep saying it's ok and dismissing me whenever I would try to show her how badly i was bleeding. I don't know why I didn't get up and leave. I usually give nail techs the benefit of the doubt with getting nicked cause it can happen... After I made it known that she cut me 3 times she continued to laugh and talk to the other techs. I felt very disrespected. I had scheduled a eyebrow waxing also but decided I wasn't going to try my luck since my nails with all nicked up I didn't want to find out what would happen to my eyebrows. I had work at 11, and was gonna get my nails done before work. I got there around 10:10 , and I asked if she'll be able to finish my nails so I don't get late to work. She said yes , and it took her two hours to do acrylic nails. And I was so pissed off, I was late af , and my nails looked horrible, uneven , some places fat , and I had hairs in my nails after she put gel polish on .
