You couldn't miss the sanitizer at the front desk. The stylists' stations themselves are well more than six feet apart. Disposable capes are also used. It's obvious every step is taken to keep you safe. What about my hair? Sandy has been my stylist now for 35 years. She is the best! She never lets my hair get "old." She always has great ideas for a new cut or tweaking my color. I can't tell you how often when I'm out and about someone asks, Who does your hair?! or says, I love your highlights! I finally asked Sandy for her cards to hand out. If you need a new stylist or are just tired of the same old thing, I'd call Sandy at Salon 33.

Absolutely amazing! Probably the best salon I've ever been to (and I don't think I'm exaggerating…read morein saying that). I came in so a hair wash and to get my hair colored back to its natural black color and I was pleasantly surprised by how seamless and pleasant? Every moment of it was? Most of the hair dressers there seemed to be very young, but from what I could see, they were all very attentive and thorough with whatever they were doing. I enjoyed that it's a friendly atmosphere, but not the laid back "not really at work" vibe that can come with some higher end salons. I'm hooked now. I don't think I have much interest in going anywhere else for any hairstyling needs. If there is any hair on your head, you have to try this place out!

I've gotten my hair cut, permed, and styled here and I always love it. I have had Emily do my hair every time and it always comes out amazing. I get a very layered medium length haircut and she always listens when I ask for shorter or for it to be lightened up at the bottom. The perm came out amazing, but unfortunately I couldn't maintain it because of college. When she styled my hair for my Prom, it was stunning and she was able to use floral clips from my mother. She's always able to match my styles to the pictures. Everyone is always dressed nice and very polite.

The shop is behind the home, which the staff makes you feel like you've been invited into their home, and not the hair shoppe. The staff are very knowledgeable and confident about suggestions for your specific hair type. I not only got a wash, cut, and blow dry, but I left the place knowing the hair cut really complimented my face shape. I'm having such a bad dry scalp this winter, and the hair dresser Sandy suggested how I can deal with this embarrassing dandruff situation. My hair usually parts from the left and falls to the right of my face. But she suggested I switch sides since my left side of my head is thinning out. Something small like that, made a difference in how I view my hair now, and what I thought to be normal and looked good for me, eventually will be better for my hair. Cause I surly don't want 1 side of my head to be thinning and the other side to be full. Well I recommend this place, cute location, clean, inviting, and before you let someone touch your hair, make sure it's someone who knows about your hair situation.
