The reason I go to Simplee U beyond the amazing work of the stylists is just how truly comfortable I feel. That was my main priority when selecting a salon. Everyone that works here is so sweet and the entire environment is just very welcoming! I'm always pleased with my hair, I love the products they use, I love the addition of coffee and treats! The hot towels during a hair wash are my favorite! They don't skimp on the details! Definitely worth checking out one of the amazing stylists here. Two of my friends have switched to go here and also love it ! And I found out my neighbor goes here too- it's SIMPLEE the best ! I drove over an hour from Philly to come to their new salon and it was absolutely worth it. The new space is beautiful - clean, airy, and spacious. Cabrina and Daniella are extremely welcoming; it's almost like they're welcoming you into their home I had a little trouble with the lighting so my "after picture" doesn't do her work justice, but I'm thrilled with Cabrina's work again. I like to have very cool ashy blonde highlights with a deep root and lots of dimension. I'm also in the midst of growing out a lob (my natural texture is wavy). Cabrina did hand painted baby lights, a root smudge, and a toner. One of the things I appreciate most about the quality of their work is that it grows in so well and lasts... Cabrina did my hair about 6 months ago (you can see it in the "before" pic) and it still looked pretty good, even after so much time. I also appreciate that they're thoughtful with their products - everything is effective, but my hair is never damaged. High quality - and I'm always happy with the results.

The final color was entirely different from what was requested and when we asked for a correction we were told that there was not time but to go home and keep washing her hair - maybe try chlorine in the pool (???). Upon insisting that the color needed to be fixed (it was soooo harsh), we were then told to go home and use Dawn soap - which after spending money to go to the salon - seems quite insulting. We felt so uncomfortable with the way we were treated from when we walked in, we didn't go back for the corrective appointment. I have never been to a salon where they stylist didnt want me to walk out happy. Have reached out to management on two occasions to request a refund but no response.

She is terrific, patient and exacting. During the course of the year each cut generated unsolicited compliments from friends and acquaintances. This is NOT a high production, high turnover salon, more of a high quality artisan vibe. Okay, so what do I know about hair? Little, I just rely on how I feel after the cut and comments from those around me. I have always gone to the best salons and stylists in the areas I lived. It is 1 year since Katherine severely damaged my hair. I came back 3 days after she colored my hair…read morefor a color correction. She put on 2 rinses to lighten my hair from mousy blonde to a light ash blonde that did not work. Next Katherine put something on my hair that turned it orange. The only thing to do to get rid of the orange was to strip the color from my hair with strong bleach. My hair became gold. Needless to say a few days later my hair started to thin out and break off. This continued for a few months. The only time the owner got involved was when it was time to close for the evening. Don't go here. Very smug and cold environment with incompetent beauticians charging high prices.
