I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Molly a few years back though a mutual friend. Being new to the area, I was looking for a new stylist, but just like most women, was afraid of what a "new" person would do to my hair. ALL of my fears were put to rest on my 1st visit. The minute I walked into the door, I was greeted by Molly's brilliant, genuine smile. She sat me down and had an in depth conversation to find out what my preferences are. She made sure that she fully understood what I wanted and gave me that and so much more. The whole salon experience was fantastic!!! the salon was very clean, warm, inviting and just "felt" right. I was introduced to the other employees and was pleasantly surprised to be serviced by them on my visit. I found the way Molly runs the salon to be extremely efficient and effective. Meeting w/ my stylist, then going to an associate for color application and rinsing, made my visit run smoothly. Never once did I ever feel neglected, forgotten or rushed. Quite the opposite as a matter of fact. I had a ball, chatting with the employees and well as the other clients, who raved about Molly and her associates. Rarely do you find that in an establishment. Needless to say, my hair came out perfect and I was extremely please with the end result. (considering I was 8 months pregnant at the time in the summer heat, I would say Molly is a miracle worker, and a saint for being able to please a very pregnant, hormonal and cranky soon to be momma) That was over 3 years ago! I will never go anywhere else for my hair. Molly has created a relationship w/ me that is invaluable. I can just walk into the salon, and say do what ever and walk out feeling beautiful, all thanks to Molly and her associates! Now, on the flip side, I can also walk in with a crazy idea and Molly, with her professional wisdom and innate talent of styling, will talk me out of making a huge mistake. She is not just a stylist, but an artist. She takes the time to know her clients and what will work best for them and styles accordingly. She has built so much trust that I would feel completely comfortable walking w/ a blindfold, not saying a word about what I want, and walk out of there feeling like a million bucks, without paying a million bucks!!! Her prices are extremely reasonable and she also gives back to her clients by sending out % off coupons because she truly does value all of her clients. I have never received so many compliments on my hair, in my whole entire life!!! I refer everyone and anyone that I can to her, because she is amazing. And everyone that I have referred continued to go to Molly, because of the beautiful work she does and the whole experience she creates for a customer. I would never even think of going anywhere else, and feel very confident is saying that if I were to move, I would still make the trip back to have my hair done by a real professional....Molly!! Our daughter is 3 now. Molly welcomes her into the shop and makes sure my toddler is comfortable and entertained. Molly even takes a few moments out of her busy schedule to braid our daughter's hair, b/c she knows how much our daughter likes it. She is such a kind person! And although we haven't cut her hair yet, when we do, Molly will be the only person that we'l trust enough to perform that special experience. I really wanted to love this salon because I know a couple people who go here. But I am not happy at all. I have been growing my hair out for about 3/4 years from a very bad hair cut. I went in for my apt with Molly and explained what was going on what happened and what my goal was. I was very specific in what I wanted and that I just wanted a trim and I didn't want my layers cut any shorter as I am trying to grow them out. She seemed to be on the same page as me. Well thats not the case. They diffused my hair after the cut, so it was very hard to see what the cut looked like but I didn't want to make them blow out my hair as she was going back and forth between me and someone else. So I went home hoping for the best. Any maybe I should've spoke up and made them blow out my hair so I could've seen what was going on with the cut. I was also told when I called and spoke with Molly that hair cuts are 37.00, I was charged 47.00 I didn't say anything when I was there and I should have. I should have questioned it. I woke up the next morning and my hair is NOT at all what I wanted or what I asked for. All of my layers that I was trying to grow out are completely cut, uneven, not blended and there are TONS more now. It looks like a haircut within a haircut. Its honestly horrible. What I just spent the past 3/4 years growing out was recut with in a matter of 5 minutes. And now I am left with half of my head with uneven, messy, not blended layers, and the other half kind of blended. I wasn't sure if I should call and complain, but at the end of the day I don't want to go back and have Molly fix my hair when she was the one who messed it up in the first place. Now I have to find someone else to fix my hair, which will result in me having to cut at least 4-6 inches off the length when I all I have been trying to do is grow it out. I wish I could give a better review but I am back to square one with my hair which is resulting in me having to lose a lot of length and start all over. read more

After a botched at-home haircut, I came to Molly in hopes that she could fix my hair. My cousin has been a client of Molly's for years and always recommend me to Salon Manivanh. I had many horrible experiences with hairstylist not cutting my hair the way I wanted so I just gave up on going to the hair salon. Desperately, I finally decided to make an appointment. Molly didn't just fix me hair, she completely transformed it. I went from choppy, uneven, thin hair, to beautiful, voluminous hair with long layers. Molly is the best! She LISTENS to her clients when they come in with an idea of what style they are looking for. Whether it's a new cut or new color. She will discuss with you what she believes will work in order to accomplish it. Or will offer suggestions for a style or color all together different that you may not have thought of. I have never walked out of her shop disappointed after over 10 years of being her client. And I don't say that lightly when it comes to my hair. She's very talented! I've never done anything exciting with my hair, it's always been one length and boring, so on a whim I walked in with a recommendation from a friend and I couldn't be happier!!! I donated 8 inches to locks of love and then told Molly to go ahead and do whatever she wanted! She styled it with layers and long side bangs and a caramel ombré! I don't even look like myself and I've gotten so many compliments! A huge thank you to Molly and I will be coming back often :) it's a perfect style to start my freshman year at college in the fall! Amazing service. Molly, the owner is a great professional and an amazing individual. I left the place100% satisfied. Everyone complimented on my highlights how great they look. She is super fast and does a great job so you are not wasting your time. She is super accommodating as well and will work around your schedule.
