I'm sorry to say that this one was a BIG fail for me. I went to their new location in Ambler and…read moretook my 5 year old daughter as well for one of her biggest cuts since birth (over 8 inches cut). I thought we could go together, since she was nervous and I needed gray root coverage and a good new cut/style anyway. We saw two different stylists and sat next to each other at the salon. My cut: I had asked for long layers and some shape and to please not use a razor edge to feather the layers (I personally don't care for that method or how that looks on me - I much prefer more blunt-cut layers) The junior stylist I had had no clue how to do anything but the feather/razor edge for layers, and basically acted like there was literally no other possible way to achieve a long layered cut. We went back back-and-forth for 10 minutes with her looking utterly confused at what I was suggesting. (I've had other cut methods hundreds of times. I was confused at her confusion.) She told me she's been out of school less than a year. I simply couldn't get through to her, so I gave in and had her basically just give me a boring blunt cut instead. The color she gave me was darker than I asked too, plus I left with dark marks around my face! My stylist was kind - I'm really not trying to say she wasn't, but she wasn't very warm or personable either. She seemed extremely young and checked out. My daughter's cut was the more heartbreaking one for me. She had gorgeous hair down to her bottom and we finally decided to give it a really good cut (tired off nightly tangles). It took the other gal under 10 minutes and it was completely uneven (see pic). I had to take her somewhere else to get it fixed. :( She was kind enough too but not very great with kids. Do not bring a kiddo here (I thought maybe a "real salon" would give her a better cut despite not being targeted to kids. I was wrong.) I'm really bummed because I had a lot of high hopes for this place opening up in Ambler and for finally finding a good stylist for both me and my daughter, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. The value for what I paid is really shocking to me. To pay $250 for one cut/color with a junior stylist and one child's cut and both were this bad is super disappointing.

She cut my hair so short I am unable to put a flat iron or curling iron to the sides and the lower back of my head. I mentioned to her before she started cutting, not extremely short. Each side of my head was different. I hardly have any hair left on the sides of my head. The left side is worse. Thankfully, I am a former hairdresser and can maybe fix this to some degree. The shop never offered me the 20% discount they offered. I did not even think about that at the time of paying my bill because I was so upset that they do not even style the hair after they cut the person's hair. Just horrible! I guess if you're not accustomed to the normal procedures of what is common - place for going to a beauty shop for a haircut and blow dry then the hairdresser takes advantage and does less work for the same price? I would never recommend this place to have your hair done besides not having upscaled hairdressers with knowledge of good styling. I might add the parking is also horrendous as well. In fact it's rather dangerous walking on uneven pavements in that area.

The manager said they didn't have time for anything- no cut, no color. She was so unprofessional. Didn't offer anything to accommodate me. Just let me sit there and cry. Fucking awful. I went to this salon to go from a slight red to my natural brown with caramel highlights. After she had color corrected, she said "there's still a little red but it will fade out". She never stated that we would need another appointment to continue to fix it. She then put brown dye (I'm guessing that's what it was) over it. I asked for my natural hair color which was visible. The top part of my hair turned out basically blonde. The bottom part of my hair is red and a dark brown. It doesn't even go all the way to my roots. I spent $360 on a terrible hair job. I called and simply asked for a refund and they said the only thing they could do was dye over it one color and anything else to fix it I would have to pay for. Absolutely ridiculous!
