The place is large and you can generally find almost anything you're looking for. I've been here three times and each time I had a different experience with the staff. The first, with Jacob, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and I really learned a lot from him. I can't praise him enough. The second was with a lady who was nice and the third today was with an especially condescending jerk. He lectured me for a good while on how a tester is not going to help me see visible results thus why should I get it?- but my argument is that I need to make sure a product won't give me a skin reaction before I spend big bucks. Would Sephora rather I buy and try out their products at home and return them back to the store? Anyway, staff is not so consistent in their customer service here. read more

Read other reviews regarding rude reps and encountered one for myself here on Saturday 2/17/18. 1st male rep I approached was about 5'7 who was in his late 30's or early 40's. "Do you know if anyone could help me with the brushes by Make Up Forever?" He was like, "I don't knooow." Had the look on his face like, "Honey, you asking the wrong gay dude." I stood there a bit thinking he'll make the attempt of finding someone who might. He never even tried and appears as if I was bothering him so I left. No biggie. So I waited patiently near the back counter while a customer got serviced. When customer left, I noticed the same rep who assisted her tried to avoid eye contact. I suspect she was avoiding me so I stepped closer and quickly felt she had the same don't bother me vibe surrounding her. She reluctantly looked up and made no effort to uncover what I stood there for. So I asked, "Excuse me. Do you know if...." Instantly cuts me off and replies, "LINES BACK HERE." Walks off casually as if she did me a favor. Wow seriously? Is this location owned by Jimmy Kimmel and did she confuse me with Matt Damon? Apparently I was on the opposite side of the counter so no questions were allowed. Lol strike two. Finally got some assistance and recognized a polite tall gentleman who helped me previously. Very professional and remembered me from my last visit. Greeted me warmly with a handshake so I naturally made the purchase. Why can't every employee be like that again? I spotted the same chick who blew me off as I exited and asked for her name. She replied Andrea and the sad part is, I don't think she suspects a thing! read more

I wandered into the store around 10:30 expecting to just browse since it was close to closing time, I was interested in some contour products and decided to ask a sales associate standing nearby for some help. Her name was Emily and right away she set out to find the right product for me. We started with the Smashbox Contour Kit which I had been eyeing for a long time but was unsure if the color would show up on my skin; she offered the great tip of mixing the contour and bronze shade and sure enough it produced the most perfect/natural shadow that I had been searching for. Feeling like we had a connection, I proceeded to ask her every make-up question I had bottled up and she answered them like a pro. I appreciated her honesty when it came to other contour kits and the fact that she understood how simple I wanted my routine to be i.e. so those contour kits with 6+ shades would be useless to me so no need to even go there lol. This has been my most positive experience at any Sephora and I left with a ton of knowledge and confidence to tackle the war that is contouring. read more

I went here months ago with a friend and we just looked around and it was somewhat a busy summer day but every employee was nothing but nice and cool asking if we needed anything. It was also nice and clean. Probably the best sephora I've ever been to. read more

I've been coming to this location off and on for years, because it's on the way home. But, this is my first time penning a review. I have to admit, the customer service at this location is definitely hit and miss. Lately it's been more of a hit, which is encouraging. A very helpful associate, Justin, helped me choose a liquid eyeliner pen. I don't get too hung up about all the "shadowing" because it's a big store, near a subway station, in the heart of a tourist trap - which makes it a thief target. read more

i had the BEST experience ive ever had at a sephora today. i felt like a queen. normally when i go in to buy my make-up i browse by myself and im cool with that. but one of the consultants shane came up and just asked if i needed help and i told him i was looking for a good brow liner. one thing led to another and i was basically becoming submissive and helpless intentionally. he was so likeable and knowledgeable about the products and not to mention a NORMAL guy. though i dont know what his sexual preference was he didnt come across blatant either way which is nice and unexpected compared to the overly flamboyant males prancing around. i ended up spending way more than i bargained for but he didnt sell me anything! i will definitely make the trip to this sephora from now on! read more

I would put no stars if I could! I usually love coming in here. I live really close and work in the same center so I'm in there all the time checking out what's new and grabbing a few samples. On this particular day I was bored at home and expecting and arrival later on that day so I thought what better way to kill time then to go the sephora. Walking in everything was fine. I continued on my merry way checking things out. Before I know it an hour has passed. I didn't think anything of it but I started to realize some strange things. I was in the isles closest to the perfumes. There was a tall Asian fellow there. Every time I would switch a isle he would walk to the end of that isle and so on. I didn't really think anything of it until I moved on to the nail polish. I watch another young fellow follow me around there in non uniform and seemed to know most of the employes. At this point it was getting pretty uncomfortable so I decided to leave. The next day my boyfriend and I decided to go in again seeing as though I had to pick up my check from work. He also loves going in there to try out new things. As we walk in I see that same tall fellow there. I extremely irritated with the day before so I point him out obviously to my boyfriend. As were walking by I see I'm go to say something on his radio but hesitates because I'm looking right at him. As I look away I turn back just in time to see him say "that girl from yesterday is back" I was beyond offended. I am a frequent costumer and will not be insulted from anyone. They will no longer be getting any more of my money. I will just give my aunt at corporate a nice little phone call and let her know how fantastic there customer service was! A huge store with a giant variety of selections. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They provided many insightful recommendations and shared their own personal favorites. 15 minute free teaching sessions for anything you want to learn which led me to my first purchase. Ended up buying multiple products from how helpful they were and the amazing products they recommended. Best Sephora store ever! read more

This Sephora is huge and has everything! The only reason I give it a lower rating is because of the hourglass sales representative. She was EXTREMELY pushy to the point of being rude. My friend and I just went to look at the hourglass section just to look on our way out and she came running and was grabbing things and putting them in my hands and telling me to go buy them. When I told her I didn't think I needed these products right now she told me I could just buy them now and return them later!! Anything to help her commission I could tell! I'm 22 and I don't look older than 20 and as she was describing the products she kept telling me how these would take years off my face etc. Honestly I felt insulted. My friend was laughing and saying I was going to look 12 at the rate she was going. Wouldn't go back just because the hourglass representative was just so pushy it made me upset. I have been shopping at Sephora for past three years however it has all been at the store. This was my first online shopping experience on sephora.com and i dont think it can be any worse. I placed an order and there was a mistake in the shipping address which i noticed immediately after placing the order. The website doesnt have an option to cancel or update the order which would have avoided all the confusion that i had to go through. Since there was no cancel or update option i called the customer care and the representative told that the address cannot be updated when the order is in process and i was asked to call back once the order was shipped so that they can update the carrier with the correct shipping address. I called customer care the day the order was shipped. A representative took the correct shipping address and confirmed that she had updated the address after putting me on hold for a good ten minutes and told me that it would take 24 hrs to reflect on the tracking information. When i checked back after 24 hrs it showed the same wrong address and I called the customer care again. This time the representative told me that the request may not have gone through for unknown reasons and later again confirmed that the address was updated successfully. Finally after all the calls, the package was delivered to the wrong address. A simple cancel/update order option would have saved all the confusion and I wouldnt have ended up not receiving the items that i paid for. The worst online shopping experience ever and extremely bad customer care service with improper communication. Wish I could give 0 stars. read more
