I can't stand this location. Just like others have said, no one ever wants to help you out but there's like 15 of the employees standing around talking about whatever and looking like they can't be bothered. Everyone I go into Sephora, I either have to wait to be helped and never have anyone come over or track down an associate who is usually standing in a huddle talking to other associates. I usually shop online when buying products from Sephora, but I have been to this location about 5 times. They have the BEST ish from nailpolish to perfume to bodywash. I also love their primers & eyeshadows. My foundation of choice is the matte bare minerals, have yet to find a concealer that I love though. If you shop here enough, they will enroll you in their VIB (very important beauty insider) program. They email you specials/discounts, send you a lil somethin on your bday & have products to chose from when you hit 100 & 500 points (on every purchase $1=1 pt). They are affiliated with J C Penney, so I get to use my Penney's card here. Although, I can only do so online, I tried to use it the 1st time I went to the actual store & they said they don't accept them. Weird but whatev that's why I like going online better! read more

Hit or miss. Depends on who is working on how you will be treated. There are days, busy or not, I am greeted and am asked throughout shopping if I am okay. Other days literally no greeting, not a single person will ask if I need anything....invisible. This is my new go-to beauty supply store. Danielle is super-sweet, very knowledgable about face care and I was impressed with her professionalism. I was initially assisted by Kat who was exuberant and helpful in getting me prepped for Danielle to do my Skincare IQ. Great teamwork! Danielle easily determined a foundation and other skin care products for me. So far, I'm ecstatic about them all and she provided samples of other items for me to think over. She is a ROCKSTAR! This isn't a store that is closest to me, however I may return here just to receive the same awesome service. read more

Had such a good experience ! I had returns with four different receipts and one return without a receipt. The girl who helped me was so nice and helpful. She took her time to help me return all my items! At Sephora, they let you try out the makeup you buy and return the product if you end up not liking it. The return process is super quick and easy. I notice the line was getting long, but another girl jumped on the register right away. The staff was very attentive to the customers in the store. I was in and out of the store within 5 minutes. If you're not in a rush to get the makeup, I would order it online at Sephora.com. They give you free samples and often times, they'll have coupon codes to get a free gift. read more

Normally I have a great experience here and typically always find what I'm looking for and today I had a list for everything I needed to restock on. As someone in the beauty industry I usually don't ask for help or deny it politely when asked. Today while looking around I was followed VERY closely by one of the workers here after denying their help making me feel very uncomfortable. I was in here for 5 minutes and I had 4 different employees come up to me. If I needed help wouldn't I have asked? Following me around like I was stealing. Mind you I walked in with my wallet and my phone.. that's it. I also saw from the corner of my eye a girl I wasn't even near ask if I needed help. I didn't even acknowledge her and she still proceeded to try and follow me. The people working here need to take a new career path. They all seem lost and not one person had their makeup done, they all looked like they just woke up. Am I at Walmart or Sephora? I went here yesterday for some last minute Christmas shopping and was thoroughly impressed. Although the place was packed, the staff was friendly, organized, and helpful. Well...I have to shop here as it's the closest Sephora to me. Not always well stocked. You will be asked if you need a shopping basket 10 times a minute. Always a wait though if you do need actual help. When you do get help, they are constantly interrupted by their ear piece so you have to repeat your conversation a few times. Just a shout out to Jocelyn and Angel for transforming my baby girl into a beauty queen for her 13th bday. I took my daughter to get her first professional makeover and get some tips on skin maintenance & application from someone other than her mother :) Jocelyn was lovely and very sweet. She recommended products and tools to help keep her skin soft, clean, and clear. Angel was phenomenal. Seriously. He transformed my baby girl into a glamorous young lady. He was very sweet w her and explained what he was using, how he was using it, and the desired effect of each product. He really was great. Honestly, every single time I shop at this location, I leave feeling belittled and bewildered. I'm not a professional MUA, but I make sure to do extensive research before purchasing any cosmetic item. On several occasions, I've gone into this Sephora with the intent of purchasing $50-$150 dollars worth of merchandise. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson by now, yet I continue to throw myself into the gauntlet of useless employees that wander aimlessly and reek of arrogance. I HATE this Sephora. By far, the worst one I've EVER been to. It's a shame I live on the west side of town, because the Scottsdale location is far superior. Time and time again, I leave this location feeling as though I've been looked down upon and written off. Or better yet, I get "information" about products I'm not the least bit interested in. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Oh, and I believe the woman who "assisted" me last week was named Megan. Here's a tip for you: Change your foundation. While I love Sephora this location is filled with useless and arrogant employees. Once someone actually decides to come and help they aren't exactly the type of help you want since they look to have poorly selected their own make up or deny your personal experience (me: this product did not give me the full coverage it claims or I hoped can you help me find something else. My only recommendation is that they make sure they have the colors in stock that they sample on people. The clerk tried on 3 different colors on me because the first two were not in stock. So when she said the first color was perfect for me and then oh no we are out. And then the second color is perfect too and then oh no out again. So when the 3rd color was just as perfect, I couldn't help but feelike it wasn't. Also please don't take a clerk away from a customer to ring up another customer - just makes you feel not as important. read more

This is by far the best location I have ever been to!! I started shopping at Sephora because Ulta didn't carry what I had been recommended by a friend and because.... I just don't really like Ulta anymore... Every time I come here, I am helped to the fullest!! I have been matched, I have had the employees explain how the make up works and if they think it is a good choice to try. They give testers so you can try it before you decide to buy it (which Ulta has never done) and they are not stingy with returns like Ulta is. If you are not satisfied, they take it back. The customer service is always great, my experiences are always lovely when I come here. They make shopping for my beauty supplies much more enjoyable than it used to be! read more

I do not wear much make-up, but I am in love with Sephora. I have only been to this loction though. My sister and I had our make-up done here for our brothers wedding a couple weekends ago, and the two ladies that did our make-up were very nice and knowledgeable. They were really good at listening to what we wanted, and gave us tips as we were not the most experienced make-up users. I went back on Black Friday and the place like all places in arrowhead were a mad house. Even though, one of the girls working asked me if I had questions, she helped me figure out what foundation color was right for me, not just by looking, but by actually trying. I've been helped by girls who were knowledgeable and pleasant but I've also been helped by girls that needed some serious customer service training and than there's always at least one snotty princess that needs a reality check, or a hand across the face lol. I was in the store that is located at Arrowhead mall and a woman by the name of Kendra was very disrespectful and I believe she was racially profiling my cousin and I. We looked at some things but ultimately decided against them because we just were not as interested as we thought we were. I mean I believe that it is okay to look at things and put them down if you do not want them. But I think it is absolutely DISGUSTING that she had the audacity and nerve to try to "quiz" my cousin and i on things that we looked at and put back down. As if she was insinuating that we were stealing. I have been going to sephora for YEARS and the fact that she did that in front of people and then sat there and watched me made me not only very uncomfortable but very upset because she's trying to push something that isn't true. I have MORE than enough money to spend on any product I like there, I would have zero reason to steal a single thing. The items I did want were sold out and they told me to check other locations so I walked around and found something I liked but for Kendra to go so far and ask me back products that I picked up and put back down was very disrespectful and disgusting to quiz me on things that YES i have tested before. Her actions led me to not purchase those items, I got something completely different, checked out and left the store.
