DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i went there to redeem points…read morefor items on my birthday that was supposed to be a quick in and out, and it ended up being hours asking different staff members about how the system works and receiving a different answer every time. a woman with very short bleached blonde hair had directly gave me misinformation saying that the point system was available for full sized items, in which i had a feeling that that was too good to be true to the point where i vocalized that to her and she had continued to insist. when we get to the counter, the front staff had no idea how it worked as well and only adding more time and confusion to the entire process. after a literal three hours of attempting to figure this out due to the inconsistent answers, a manager had told me that all of the items i had collected were invalid for the points redeem. there was nothing offered to help fix this confusion nor to make up for the time that they had wasted for me on my 25th birthday while i was still in a rush to get ready for my celebration. the staff are incompetent in the area of being knowledgeable about their own marketing and will happily waste your time due to their own lack of training.

I'm a…read morevery seasoned sephora shopper (12000+ points) and never have I had quite such an amazing experience. Marcus helped me find my color in a new tinted moisturizer and concealer brand, but also noticed that my skin was needing something and recommended me to a product that I ended up buying that has changed my life. My skin has never looked this good, three days ago I was breaking out and now my skin is perfect and hydrated and healthy, I didn't even realize I needed more hydration, but Marcus did. I'm so incredibly grateful for the time and care that he put into truly taking care of me and recognizing my needs. I also enjoyed my experiences with each of the employees here, they are so kind, welcoming, and eager to help. I showed the employee and she could clearly see it purchased on my app through my account. BUT BECAUSE IT HAPPENED TO BE INSIDE A KOHLS I CANT RETURN IT AT THIS LOCATION. So Sephora either wants to make it harder for you to get your money back or they simply didn't think of how inconvenient it would be for their members to make a simple return. I had never been to a Sephora location inside of a big box store like this before, so it took me a minute to locate it. To hopefully make it easier on you, you can find it on the second floor, very close to the entrance of the mall. While I was greeted when I arrived, I was left to shop around on my own, which was nice. It wasn't too crowded and I found what I was looking for right away. This store is a little smaller than their stand-alone stores, but still had a decent amount of product. I enjoy make up and have a lot high-end favorites. However, I appreciate that Sephora has its own line as well. I prefer to spend a little less on things that don't excite me that much... like blush. Just not my jam, although I use it daily, I can't be spending $30 for it. Now, I'm not in this neighborhood often and I tend to avoid large malls, but I wouldn't hesitate to visit this location again, especially when I'm out of something vital. So, off to the store I went to return it. Walked into the store. Wasnt greeted but was overwhelmed by the fragrance. Stood in line to return the item. There were two people ahead of me and two people behind me. Although there were multiple associates on the floor and maybe four other customers in the aisles they only had one girl running registers. Once I got to the register the sales associate was very helpful. Sent me to the floor to get an exchange. Couldnt find the item or the location it might be in so I tracked down an associate and he nicely found it for me. Back to the line. Waited my turn and had it exchanged. All in all, it was fairly easy to return. I browsed the floor afterwards and noticed they don't really carry any of the brands for cosmetics that I use, but they did have a large selection of NARS AND Tarte. But I used Jones Road and Ilia so that was of no help. I couldnt find the Amika hair products I use, so there was no addition purchases for this girl!

Pardon my language but I love this shit…read more The employees very obviously have been trained to talk to the customers, and I assume guide them around the store to explain how products work and what's new and so on and so forth. It's a friendly invitation to new visitors and regulars alike, but isn't unique to this store. However Lush in particular has presented me with this vibe of genuine happiness and enjoyment from the people that work there. While other stores will invite you to ask questions about their product, Lush is admittedly a lot more niche than other stores and a lot of customers would understandably be confused or overwhelmed very easily by their strange products. That being said, I've always felt comfortable asking my "dumb questions" here. In fact, I've never encountered a worker here that hasn't seemed seriously passionate about the products they sell here. A very large amount of them speak from personal experience as well, having used said product for themselves. More importantly though, while workers here are experienced, they are also very kind. I can't wrap my head around how Lush succeeds at creating such a safe and happy place for people to spread kindness and joy. I'm sure that employees here are trained to be "nice", but I've never seen them not go an extra level just because. The employees will talk to you. They'll hear you say "I like this scent, or I've been thinking of trying this product." And they'll create a sample for you right there and put it in with your purchase. Sometimes they'll give you damaged goods that they can't sell for the same reasons. They'll recommend other similar fragrances they think you'd like, or what's popular in the media, or even what they like and prefer personally. I've met many workers from both the Polaris Lush and the Easton Lush and they are all like this. It's a level of kindness that would genuinely baffle me if it turned out to not be real, at least to some level. I don't know how they do it. The Lush community though, is something magical. I love this shit indeed.
