Drove all the way from sacramento to pick up something real quick. Arrived at 6:40pm to walk up to the doors & they are locked. They lights were on but doors were closed and locked. It was November 19, 2020 on Thursday. Their yelp states they close at 7pm. Disappointed. read more

The store it self is a bit on the smaller end when compared to Roseville's location, but it is still very nice and good selections.. full staffing of course right now since it is new, hope it will stay that way for a while. Love love love this place! I'm so incredibly happy that they have opened up a Folsom location. I live & work nearby making this very convenient. There is also a nearby parking structure, and plenty other restaurants/restroom within walking distance. The ambiance is lovely, a traditional Sephora look and set up. It has a fairly average size space to hold merchandise. This is not considered a "runway" location so unfortunately Folsom will not carry all products in the store- (like possibly i.e: San Francisco would.) However the good news is the staff is really awesome at ordering things online for you free of shipping right to your house if products are not available. I've done this a few times and it's always arrived in a decent timeframe. Another perk about this place/company is they always give samples for you to try at home. When you spend money you receive "points" and those points can be redeemed for free gifts offered or they can be saved for something bigger. And the more you spend the greater "status" you gain. For me: this is super motivating and exciting every time I shop! I have over 3,000 in points and I have a VIB status. But I will be at ROUGE status soon, very exciting. Great place, amazing products, great people. I recommend this place all the time. It's definitely my favorite store to shop at. read more

I was in need of new foundation and found one online that I was interested in and it said Sephora carries it. So in I go today to find out that not all stores carry everything. Um so why TF does it show online as being there?!? I wouldn't have gone there if that was the case! Bleh! There's something about Mary...This sales associate is exceptional. She went above and beyond to help me and my daughter find the makeup products we were searching for. With over 20 years in the field, she is an expert color consultant and provided amazing recommendations for perfect colors for foundation, undereye concealer, and blush. She maintained excellent infection control standards as set by Sephora throughout our interaction. Her demeanor was friendly and positive. She was attentive and helpful without being the least bit pushy - she made us feel comfortable and not rushed. She encouraged me to apply for a Sephora Visa card to get 15% off on the spot and explained the benefits - I set up a rewards account as well. I was trained in customer service with Nordstrom, and I can ascertain that Mary was following the same high standards. Sephora is fortunate to have her as an employee, and I hope that she is being well compensated as she is an incredible asset to the organization. First off, let me just start off by saying this is the BEST location to go for when you need that retail makeup therapy fix. The ladies there were so kind and accommodating to any of my questions. I was having a rough day at work so I decided to come here after my shift and let me tell you those ladies who work there lightened up my whole spirit. Went into Sephora today to purchase a new foundation. I was greeted by Ann who helped me pick out the perfect foundation and color matched me. I continued to tell her about my under eye dryness where she proceeded to direct me to kiehls under eye cream. Ann was very product knowledgeable and friendly,along with another girl who rang me up (forgive me for not remembering her name) but I just had to acknowledge the amazing staff here,for how busy they were they never once made me feel rushed and went over and beyond to answer any questions I had. This store gets it. Even though we live in Roseville, the service is so piss poor in that store, it's worth the extra hour of travel to come with my wife to this store. The staff is always friendly and happy to help customers here. this is my first review ever. i came to this sephora around 3:00 pm. i was shocked by how rudely I was treated. I asked for a perfume and was rudely helped. The lady was talking to her ear piece and then hands me the perfume w out a word. Even at the end at checkout there was a lady with a mask on and she didnt even say hi she just stared at me. Today was the first day I went to the new Sephora location at Palladio Parkway in Folsom. I decided on booking a makeover in advance. I showed up 5 mins late worried that they might have cancelled my appt. luckily they were ready for me when I walked it. I was greeted by a friendly and beautiful makeup artist names Sarah. I was so excited because she had everything all ready for me. She check out my shopping history so she knew exactly what I liked and what colors I wear. Sarah asked what look I was going for with my makeup and nailed it. Every time I go to Sephora for a make over I always learn something new and find a new product I can't live without. This time I learned that "Fenty" is launching a new concealer line which I'm ecstatic about... also my new favorite lashes are the "Samantha" lash by Huda. Yet again Sephora exceeded my expectations. Avoid this store like covid. Rachelle, the manager, is horrid. She's rude, condescending, belligerent, ignorant and should not work in service. I have filed a formal complaint against her and will make sure this lady does will not treat others this way again. Ever. Love the fact that they've opened a Sephora in Palladio! The girls that work there are always helpful. Shy went above and beyond being helpful in trying to help me match a lipstick shade I wear that Sephora had discontinued. I've had great service from other workers there too. The store is clean and well stocked and if they don't have it you can get it shipped free. Use to be a great store but now with covid the workers are basically useless they can't apply makeup they can't color match, they just yell at you for touching anything or taking your mask down to color match your skin. All for a 99% survivals rate flu... when will this nightmare end and business go back to normal. I'm glad this location is taking safety precautions with sanitized bags in between customers, limited customers inside the store, and wearing masks. I was greeted by a very friendly lady who seemed to be a manager which let us into the store and handed us a sanitized bag. They asked what I was looking for, and sent me over to a sales rep. which brought me to my desired makeup brand. I asked her what else she recommends and she had let me know. Then, when done shopping and ready to check out she pulled me from the line because I am paying with card. I asked her if I could redeem a birthday gift which she either didnt hear me or ignored. Not a problem. The issue we had was her attitude checking us out, and snatching the bag out of my hands with my product inside. My fiancé and I both got a rude impression off of her and she seemed to be in a sour mood. Not a good look for a beauty store. I myself am Licensed in CA and I also work in the beauty industry, and this was not a good look for her, or the store as a whole. I understand not wanting to work during a pandemic, but you don't have to be negative or rude when speaking to customers. read more

I was helped by a woman last night who's name I unfortunately didn't get, but has easily given me the best customer service I've ever received in a Sephora. Everyone is pretty polite who works here, but she was really genuine and attentive with my newfound dry skin. I've been on spironolactone for acne treatment for two weeks and it's been wonderful, but turned my extremely oily acne prone skin into a lovely, clear yet DRY desert. After explaining the side effects of cracked, bleeding skin on my lips/face/neck and the chemical burn sensation of a drug store moisturizer I used to love, she recommended a product that not only hasn't burned me, but has totally restored my face overnight. For my lips, she recommended a product they didn't even have out on display yet and is the best thing I've ever used. I definitely felt she went above and beyond because she couldn't just named some brands and left me to my own devices, but she took into consideration my side effects, the products I'm using for my skin, and walked through all the ingredients that are known to help my situation and hand picked some for comparison. I'll have to update this with her name if I ever find out what it is! read more

Very nice girls but so annoying! Every corner I turned there was a sales rep there asking what I need. Every sales rep gave me different recommendations so it was VERY VERY confusing. They would recommend a product then say "would you like to buy this right now?" And when you say "no I am still shopping around" they will say "ok I can hold this up front for you." Like WTF ? If I want it I will put it in my shopping bag. Lol. Just so much pressure there it is VERY uncomfortable. So uncomfortable my friend didn't even want to shop alone. Not sure if they thought we were trying to steal or what, but I just bought my stuff and left. Today I came to Sephora in need of some make up for my upcoming wedding. I was really nervous, being a make up newbie and with COVID concerns, but Mary was an absolute QUEEN and made getting my products so easy. She was able to recommend the PERFECT shade of foundation, which is extra impressive since color swatching with products isn't an option right now because of COVID precautions. Went to Sephora this evening about 8:10. Usually the employees will acknowledge you when you walk in and offer to help within a few minutes. I got zilch. Was searching for items for 25 -30 minutes, yet no one offered to help me. They just kept walking by and when I turned around, they were gone.
