I came in today because of a rather embarrassing situation. I dropped a can on my toe and my nail cracked so I was looking for a way to help repair it. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly and warm face who introduced herself as Carolina. I was given some time to walk the aisles when Carolina came up and asked if she could help me with anything. I sheepishly told her what happened and she immediately had great recommendations for me! She asked questions, assessed my nails and helped me pick some items in my budget that will help. She instructed me on what to do and knew just the products that would help! She was such a kind soul! She asked me to come back and tell her how it worked out. Carolina you're amazing, everything worked out, I owe you one! Carolina is definitely a girls girl and gives you the feeling of having your back!! What an awesome experience provided in such a short time! The prices were very reasonable as well, I have to mention that, I was worried I was in for $60-$80 but the products I needed were only $29 total. If you don't come for the prices come for Carolina, she's the gem of the store! Much love!!

Not worth the time to write a bad review about the terrible attitude of the employees, both precovid and today. I hope you know what you're looking for before you come in and know where everything is located in this store. Get your products and go. If you can order online instead, do that.

I showed up and the business was closed its Monday 11/14/2022 @ 2:28 p.m. I am not sure why it was closed but there was a sign advising they would be closed on a different day - closing early due to staffing issues. My 2 hour delivery from yesterday was canceled and I wasn't notified either until I called the Sally's customer service line. I figured I would go in person to pick it up myself but came across this. This is absolutely terrible and I've never had such a bad experience with Sally's before. This is terrible and I had spent over $150+ on my items but now I can't even pick it up or even know when I'll be able to have My order.

I came to this FOLSOM location recently and it was a good experience. The woman that helped me was Jojo, she was very welcoming and helpful. Her customer service was excellent! I felt very comfortable to ask her lots of questions. She was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I really appreciated her service. I came here to get Remi hair extensions- they have clip in or not, and two different lengths: 14 inches and 18 inches. I was explained the differences between hair types, the lengths, quality, etc... I went with the 14 inch Remi style. Jojo matched up my hair color perfectly. This hair felt incredible and you can style it however you want too. It can have heat applied to it. When I got home, the box had the hair neatly set. There was 4 wider pieces- for the bottom, to the middle of my head, and 6 individual strands to clip in near the front area. Wow! It looked fantastic! Great quality and great transformation. It made a huge difference. I love this store and I definitely suggest it for all your hair needs.

I let the office know at 2:33 that I was 5 minutes away and arrived at 2:37, but I was told I could not be seen and had to reschedule. There was no one waiting, and my baby Botox appointments typically take about 10 minutes, so this was really disappointing given the distance I traveled. I also felt uncomfortable being lectured while I was scheduling the appointment initially about my treatment timing when I had already explained I received my last treatment in a different location on my face 2.5 months ago. I completely understand policies, but a small amount of flexibility in this situation would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to return, which is disappointing because I really like the injector at this location.

The issue is the staffing and overall customer experience. This was only my second visit. My first experience was great: friendly staff, easy shopping, no issues. However, my most recent visit was the complete opposite. I was shopping for face washes and skincare, and I stopped to look at a few new items from Origins, a brand I've used for years. One product in particular--the Apple Peel--didn't clearly describe what it was or how to use it. There were no samples available, and the packaging didn't indicate whether it was a mask, toner, scrub, or moisturizer. So I opened the box to check... and immediately the employee, who had been friendly at first, told me, "We don't allow customers to open boxes." That would've been fine if the product information had been clear or if samples were available or if the employee actually knew what the product was. I asked her what the item was supposed to be, and instead of answering, she told me she once bought their hand cream and "it smells amazing." I asked again if she knew whether it was a mask, toner, or something else, and she repeated that it "smells so good." This didn't help at all. She offered to look at it up for me but she did not , she was busy training/complaining to a new hire at the store . Since she wouldn't let me look inside and clearly knew nothing about the product, I purchased it anyway hoping it was a peel or exfoliant. Once I got home, I opened it--and it turned out to be just a toner. I definitely didn't need another toner, but at that point it was too late. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was how she hovered over me the entire time, constantly asking if I needed help. I understand offering assistance, but when a customer is clearly reading product labels, comparing items, and not asking for help, hovering feels intrusive. There was even a security guard right inside the front door, so the level of monitoring from the employee felt excessive. My bigger concern is that this store offers no samples for many of the products yet discourages customers from verifying what they're buying--or even checking to make sure items aren't damaged, leaking, or previously opened. That's a basic quality-control step, especially when buying gifts. Ultimately, my issue is not with the store itself but with the lack of staff training. Employees should know the products they're selling or at least make a genuine effort to look them up when asked. Customers shouldn't feel rushed, hovered over, or prevented from understanding what they're purchasing.

It is a very rare thing for me to give out one star reviews. But alas, I have to say that this…read moreplace warrants it. Was just in here and the girl who worked there was acting like it was a privilege for me to be in the store. To top that off, hardly anything has prices on it, and you always have to ask what the price of some thing is. They don't have testers for everything and when I opened the lid to smell a product to see if I wanted to buy it (it was hair conditioner), She shouted at me me "you can't open that!". Wow. I've never, except maybe one other time in my life, have told someone that they had rude customer service, but I told this girl to her face and promptly left. Avoid!

Hasmik picked up the lip plumber walked straight to a lip liner that was a different brand, did a color match, and on the FIRSTY TRY it matched the mixed berries lip plumper perfectly. Finally she helped me find my peeerrfect shade in the Fenty beauty eaze drop blurring skin tint and helped my sister find her winter shade at the same time!! For $92, this did not match the advertised service. Very disappointing experience.
