I arrived for a 30 minute session and was greeted by Melissa who told me Rebecca would be doing my makeover for the evening. While I waited for Rebecca, Melissa got a feel for my skin type. She then primed my face, gave me some tips on shaping my brows with makeup, and we spoke about eyeshadow shades. Soon Rebecca arrived and started the makeover. Rebecca explained each technique and what product she used and even had me try a few techniques on my own. While she was still doing the makeover Melissa came back over and we all chatted for a bit. Overall this was a great experience. I learned a lot from Rebecca and Melissa in a short period of time. They were both professional and made me feel comfortable. I'm sure I will be returning!

When I got to the store, the store was completely empty, not one person! I stood at the counter and waited as I saw her in the back doing her OWN makeup! I went over to her and told her I had an appointment at 1:00 for lashes and I'm sorry that I'm running so late. She asked if I could come back, because the store MIGHT get busy! I said I'm not able to, due too my sister getting married and I was already running behind. She responded NO, sorry. And I said it takes 15 minutes to put lashes on and there's literally nobody in the store, as she was sitting there doing HER makeup! I got upset out of frustration, and urgency of getting to the wedding venue on time! I asked for the store manager's name and she stated that she was the store manager and said her name was something that I did not catch. She said she would give me her card, I said great! I mentioned it was ridiculous considering it doesn't take that long to get lashes, and she went on to say lashes are only $15 its NOT WORTH MY TIME. I got extremely upset as a consumer and stated that's not how you are supposed to do business! She told me then that I did not consider her feelings as when I came in and interrupted her! I then asked if I could just purchase the lashes and I will get someone else to do it and she stated she would NOT sale me the lashes because I had an attitude! By this time I was extremely upset and just wanted the business card so I can go to another store to get my lashes. She then denied me the business card she offered because I had an attitude and threaten to call the police on me because of my attitude! I am 39 years old, and never in my life have I been treated like this before! I will also be reaching out to corporate office every day until something is done about her.

I had the "slushy" gel pedicure and a gel manicure. The slushy pedicure feels kind of like a jelly slushy in the tub. It felt cool and is supposed to soften calluses. Loved it! For the gel manicure, I did a color French tip and it came out exactly how I hoped it would. I saw other women getting really intricate designs - they really know that they are doing! They also have a lot of gel color options, which is always nice. My total for a gel polish slushy pedicure and gel manicure with French tip was $100. I went all out with a couple of upgrades here, which is the reason for the higher cost. A regular pedicure (not slushy, not gel) is $35.

Okay so this was my first time going to Scarlett's and I was skeptical prior because the lash artist I went to previously did it out of her home and I could never get into contact with her, it was an awful experience. I shopped around looking for places online and Scarlett's popped up, and LET ME TELL YOU HOW GLAD I AM IT DID! This place is a LEGITIMATE lash lounge. It is an entire boutique dedicated to servicing lash needs and much more. There are multiple girls doing lashes at all times and then Julia, the owner as well. Julia gave me my first consultation prior to my first appt, which went wonderfully! She asked me what my lash goals and concerns were and I said length! She then took a look at my lashes and let me know how long she could go according to my lashes, which was much longer than what my previous lash artist had been doing. I was so happy! At my first appt, I was able to lay down on a comfortable bed with blankets and cushiony pillows, this meant everything to me seeing as I was 36 weeks pregnant at this point! Honestly, I was afraid how my lashes would come out... seeing as how small my eyes were, and not to mention SEVERELY puffy from pregnancy! But no need to fear, these ladies are truly professionals! She explained how to care for my lashes, what would be required in terms of a next visit and while the procedure took a little longer than expected it was an amazing result. I returned last night for a different procedure. This time it was for a lash lift and tint, shorter in time and different but Karina was still great. She made sure that the results would speak for themselves and that everything was done right. The owner was very sweet and remembered me and made a point to say hello. A super pretty, very girlie (yes I love it) place to get some pampering done. Hoping to be able to try some of their spa services soon. This place is coming along nicely, give it a shot!
