The possibilities are endless here. From hair care my go to is the fenty curling cream or Morrocan oil curling cream the best. You got skin care options lately ive been loving the tatcha facial creams. Brand after brands of make up to pick from. Usually the customers who come here know what they are looking for. I came tonight for the Hour Glass concealer its so good. I also love the One Size setting spray. Never forget Benefit make up their eyebrow pencil is my go to always. Not because it's near me but because it's not overly crowded like other Sephora stores and I can shop comfortably and actually get help without waiting for ever! 9.9 times out of 10 they have what I'm looking for! I love that if I need something from Sephora I can just drive 5 minutes and be there, otay ranch town center has so much parking available too that you don't have to fight to go in or out like other malls. It was Auntie and Niece date, so I took my little to Sephora after a little shopping spree at Barnes and Noble. She really wanted to play at the park but was smart to know she needed some SPF, when we got into the store the sales person greeted us and asked us if we needed any help. I had asked where they had sunblock and my little niece says she wanted to make sure it was good for little kids, she's four. We walked over to the station and the salesperson was so sweet, she showed us how to to use the items, I spritz a little bit of skincare spray on her and then used some sunscreen samples and placed on her face. I wanted to get her a little lippie balm since the sale was going on, my niece was so excited to pick out the watermelon lip balm, they gave her their iconic black and white stripe bag and she was so excited. Poor service. Really unpleasant experience for both me and my friend today. It honestly felt like we were pulling teeth just to get some basic help. The staff today were not helpful at all, even when we asked for suggestions, nobody seemed interested or willing to assist. We asked for a perfume and were completely ignored the first time. Had to ask again, and even then it took around 10 minutes before someone finally came over. The whole vibe was just bad. I don't usually call people out, but my friend said the guy named Roman was the one who was "helping" her and he didn't even acknowledge her and she had to do her own research about a simple question. We ended up going to the store at Kohl's on Main afterward and the difference was night and day. Way better service there. Honestly, the people working at this location need to seriously change their attitude and could benefit from some customer service training. Not a good experience at all. I booked a Special Occasion makeup service at Sephora for the $uicideboy$ concert and I'm so glad I did! Every single staff member was so friendly and made me feel hyped up from the moment I walked in. Marissa did my makeup and she did a fantastic job -- my skin looked flawless (I had other artists complimenting it while she was working!) and my glam stayed on perfectly through the entire night and into the next morning. Not only is MOST of the employees customer service terrible. But when we did a return they didn't even give us our total cash back. We ended up having to drive back to get it rectified. The manager was extremely rude and seemed annoyed at everything. I understand people can have bad days but the employees are always annoyed. So if you get helped by someone please make sure to check your change since basic counting isn't one of their strengths. I also happened to witness an employee pulling a credit card on a customer when he never requested it, sure idk why he was okay with giving her his social but nonetheless the less still happened against his wishes. These people just don't pay attention and just I'm sure, try to pocket the money. Like in the case of the cashier that tried to short us I did call corporate and it's unbelievable how either that employee was trying to pocket the money, or the manger herself, or maybe even Sephora. read more

Walked in ready to spend my gift card and had my 1 year old with me and wasn't greeted- which was fine I get it, the workers were probably busy. Then I spent another 10 minutes just walking around aimlessly around the store waiting for someone to come and help or ask if I needed help. No I didn't go up to anyone, but that's mostly because when I would see a worker that looked available, they all of the sudden had something to do or look at. Most Sephora's I go to have very welcoming workers that come up and ask if I need help, but this one did not. There was two actively working employees actually helping customers and whoever else was there that was 'working' didn't bother to come up and ask me if I needed help. It almost makes me feel like they didn't want to help me because I had a baby in hand? Don't know. So either I'm used to good customer service from other Sephoras or maybe next time I just need to actively seek out an employee for assistance. Thought I could always count on Sephora to follow through with appointments. They cancelled my makeup appointment today, an hour and a half before my appointment! When I really needed it done for an event and I had it scheduled weeks in advance. They canceled at the last minute! I would've even been fine with the cancellation if they did it at least 24 hours beforehand so I can find somewhere else to go. But to cancel an hour and half before when it's been scheduled for weeks!?! That's treating a customer like they're dispensable. Where is the customer service? So I came here on a Monday night at around 6:51pm. Usually the customer service here is amazing and the people here make some wonderful recommendations. I would say at least a 9.5/10. Today was the worst customer service I have ever received. They had a very young lady working the cash register at 6:51pm who was absolutely rude and very disrespectful. I will never shop at this store again. I let the lady know that I wil just drive a little further and shop at the Sephora Kohls because the service there has always been outstanding. Honestly I walked in the store at 7:47pm exactly and got rudely greeted at the door stating to me "we close in 10 minutes do you know what you need?" Like dam I understand you close soon but the attitude and the unwilling to help me just because you close soon was really upsetting. Sephora generally hires sales people who are studying something in the beauty industry. The girl who waited on us, Ingrid, indicated she was studying skin care. I believe she indicated she was preparing to be an esthetician. Because of this, the employees usually are well-versed in the products Sephora sells. She was cordial, professional & helpful with explaining products. I pretty much knew what I was looking for & was a bit surprised when she told me the products I was wanting are exclusively sold by Ulta. She got together several samples of other items I was interested in. I brought them home to try for a week, to make my decision easier. I will probably order online, as there are usually deals & we're talking about items that can be very costly. We went to Sephora mainly because I am researching hyaluronic serums & acids. Since hyaluronic acid products can be extremely pricey, I am obtaining samples to see how well different brands work for me. Everyone's skin reacts differently to the myriad of products out there, so it is a good idea to test them for a week or so before you make a mistake by investing money in something you don't like. I've never ever had the sales ladies at Sephora hesitate to provide me with samples. I think Sephora would rather provide you with samples instead of having you come back later to return hundreds of dollars of products that they'll have to throw away as being used. The reason hyaluronic acid works is because it is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. It is found in the highest concentrations in fluids in the eyes and joints. The hyaluronic acid that is used as medicine is extracted from rooster combs or made by bacteria in the laboratory. Read more about hyaluronic acid in beauty magazine articles, such as 'Self'. There are many out there that go into great detail about what you need for 'you'. Hyaluronic products are for women who are starting to show signs of age in their face, neck & other areas of the skin on your body. Once you are in your 20's you begin to lose hyaluronic acid, which keeps your skin plump & smooth. Because hyaluronic acid can help plump up the lost elasticity caused from aging, if you are at all concerned about 'lost youth', it is a good idea to start using hyaluronic acid to help to try & restore the balance. If I could give zero stars I would! Customer service here is non existent. I was one of the first people there this morning (waited before doors even opened). The associate came out to unlock the doors and put the sign out and didn't even bother to say hello or come on in to myself or the other two ladies waiting. Ok - no problem someone will say hi when we get in the store. Nope! Not a single associated said hello or asked if I needed help or asked what I needed in general. I passed maybe 4-6 employees, looked around at almost every brand and went to Sephora intentionally to spend money on new makeup for the holidays. I went to Ulta a few weeks ago and they were closed so a quick Yelp and found this Sephoria was actually open so you got my business that day. People were nice and after a pleasant experience I also went home and ordered some stuff on-line. Today, I went back to find a different experience, the cashier didn't ask me if I was a member or if I had points for the featured samples....several associates walked past me and never asked if I needed help.... I'm 54 and don't fit your demographics but I DO have $ to spend but seems like this doesn't matter. I've been ordering my husband's cologne, my Sunday Riley and Clinique from Ulta or Nordstrom. Based on my prior visit here and feeling really good about remembering that experience, I thought I'd also pick up my Sunday and Clinique while I was redeeming his cologne certificates until I was IGNORED. Pretty sad too because Sun's CEO was one of the samples on display at the counter. A toning gel mask thats infused with real rose petals and rose water. It was a healing miracle for my skin. Recently I have the most sensitive skin my face was getting itchy and dry. After using this product (got a Sample from Nordstrom first) my face was completely clear and softens/soothes my irritated skin. It's an anti- inflammatory too. Literally loving it. Another brand I love is PeterThomasRoth. I bought this sampler kit only $25.00 and literally super amazing - this masks is to detoxify, soothe, hydrate, and polish skin. OhmyGAWD! Each of these masks provides a skin-pampering benefit. This set contains: Blue Marine Algae Intense Hydrating Mask, Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask, 24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask, Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask, Cucumber Gel Mask and Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. Came in to exchange an item. Based on their 60 days policy, I still had a day left to exchange my item; however, Sarah said I can no longer exchange it and that there are 31 days on March. How does that affect the exchange policy? Anyway, the point is that I still had a day left to exchange my item. Your typical Sephora store... Makeup and face products galore with a variety of brands, including Sephora's own collection. I wear makeup... But the extent of my own collection and knowledge of makeup is minimal. This place is a bit overwhelming and I'm sure I look lost and confused when I come in.. There's tons of ladies (and some gents) on the floor ready to help with any questions and to help try things on. For the most part, all the employees seem to be very knowledgable, but also based on personal opinions and preference regarding products, which is understandable. Even so, I'm still satisfied with the service and help I've received. Usually, I come here (or another Sephora) to refill the few items I use...
