Little did I know how much that would change my whole skincare routine/skin health overall. I ended up booking the appointment for September 2023 with Arlette. During our appointment my acne was evidently severe mainly around my chin/cheeks. Arlette mentioned I should book a skin consultation appointment to help me get it under control. Mind you prior to this I was on an expensive skincare routine that was recommended by another spa, so I was a bit apprehensive. Nonetheless, I ended up booking the appointment for the following week. They primarily use ZO products. She put me onto the following: oil control pads, daily power defense, exfoliating cleanser, acne control benzoyl peroxide, dual action scrub, tretinoin, and recommended spf. Products were not used in that order, they created a custom day and night routine for me. Then switch to retinol instead of Tret. In between I also did 2 vi peels and 2 skin pen microneedling(done elsewhere). Zo products and the Facebar has truly changed my skin and given me more confidence than ever. Well the owner of the beauty supply store also owns the salon next door. So he calls his wife Keisha to help me with some advice and I was greeted by a woman whose energy was so kind and welcoming. She even had clients in the hair and STILL didn't rush me in the conversation. After talking for about five minutes I asked does she cut hair she said yes and she fit me in her busy schedule within 30 minutes! As we all know, stylist these days are not like this. There's so many terms and conditions before even getting in the chair it's ridiculous. But not at this salon. I also want to mention the price. For my service it was a haircut it was only $50!
