I was disappointed ultimately…read more I've been getting root touch up and highlights about 4 times a year for 25 years. I tried this salon about a year ago and gave it a solid 4/5 visits. I won't name my stylist because I think they are knowledgeable but...really not a good interpreter of what I wanted and defensive about toning. I know hair needs toning on occasion. But my hair cannot have toner left on for more than 5 minutes as it's super porous and the results are awful. My 3rd visit, the toner (applied by an assistant, not my stylist) was left on for close to 20 minutes. I timed it. No idea where my stylist went. I mentioned it the next time I went in and it didn't seem to go well. The artist seemed irked. Another stylist was at the bowl when we were there (toning) and made a remark about "don't leave it on too long." So my stylist had gone I. The back room and complained. And the other person felt comfortable being bitchy to me. I'm out. I always tipped 20%. Never asked for a color correction. But that was it for me. There was a general bitchy vibe that did not work for me.

They were super responsive and after a few messages back and forth they booked me for an appointment the next day! When I came in to meet Raquel she was super sweet, friendly, and easy to talk to! It was like I already knew her! Since no one has touched my hair in years aside from one person I had my head set on just getting a trim because I'm picky and I was so nervous, but after talking to her a bit I decided to let her take her vision and give me some layers and angles and try something new. I'm so glad I did! She did an amazing job and I'm so obsessed with how my hair came out I can't stop staring at it!!! I think I'll keep it this way for a while now! The Salon itself is gorgeous as well! The interior is so classy and they have a cute little shop up front for accessories and even some clothes! They also offer a huge variety of services so I'm definitely going to have to try more out there as time goes on! It'll be nice to have a one stop shop for all my beauty needs! I cannot wait to go back I think I've finally found another stylist that's allowed to cut my hair! Which is a huge deal for me! They even had complimentary cookies and coffee in the waiting area. I was given a first time visitor coupon which made the total price of my cut very reasonable ($20 plus I gave my stylist a 25% tip because she was just that good)! Tracy took very good care of me. She was very friendly (we talked the entire time) and she was very knowledgeable so she gave me tips on the layering of hair since I requested it. She took her time to make sure my haircut was straight and exactly the way that I wanted it and when she was finished - I was super happy. I like the comfy seating area, reading material, pitcher of refreshing water, uplifting music. I went in for microblading treatment with Karolin. Karolin provided the best microblading experience for me!! She's quite talented and skillful at her many crafts! It didn't take long and the sensation felt like a scratching of the brow area - not as painful as I thought! The numbing cream helped plus the aftercare kit with the application stick proved most helpful with the recovery. I'm looking forward to getting a fill-in after a few weeks the next time I visit Florida. I'm so amazed how the brows make me feel like a new person, Karolin's measurements really help frame one's facial structure.

Many places don't offer it and the headspa process alone is expensive. But when one of my clients said they offer it at her salon, I had to give it a try. I was apprehensive because I am a Newyorican with thick, curly, coiled hair. Not many places know how to handle let alone want to deal with my hair. But not this place! Milla welcomed me with a smile and excitement on tackling my hair. She said she loves working on client with curls but I assured her to just wait. The room isn't closed out, the top is open so you can hear the music and conversations outside of the room, but it's not loud and overbearing so you do have the opportunity to still zen out and relax. And man did I relax!!!!! They don't seem to do the whole video examination of the scalp which I have seen advertised in some places. It was simply go and start on the wash. And I love getting pampered (when I can afford it). I love getting facials, massages, manicured and pedicures. And now I plan on adding this to my roster. My normal hair stylist offers a deep wash but this is a deep clean of the scalp which feels totally different and you feel all the tingles. Head tingles, body tingles, which I felt helped me zone out. Now I will say process itself did feel longer than expected. I showed up 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment and with the blowout process it did take over an hour (again thick, coiled hair) but Milla was so great.
