I bought various soaps from various sellers, and overall couldn't be more pleased that I made the switch. It soon became clear though that Deshawn was consistently making a fantastic product, and delivering it on time! My skin is tricky, I don't really have acne, but I do occasionally break out pretty badly. I have a vintage car project going on, and I do woodworking, and really.........just all sorts of dirty shop projects. Plus general life stress. I figured , the thing with my skin? Just one of those things! I've been using Deshawn's soap for a little over four years and my skin has cleared up. I very rarely break out like I used to. I love her soap. My HUSBAND loves her soap and collects the box lids to his favorite "flavors" so he knows which ones to ask me to order again. Even my less tech savvy friends & family, who don't buy stuff online for whatever reason, ask for her soap =by name= come the holidays! Just behind Al Fresco facing the bike trail is this shop with a few others; I had wandered this way to check out the Celtic shop which was sadly closed, but was quite happy to find this! The inside is spacious & well arranged so that it flows from body care tools like scrubbers and eye masks to actually body care like shower steamers and bath bombs, sugar scrubs, a wide variety of lotions, and more. In the very back there's also a small selection of artisan crafts like jewelry and wooden items. I love a good bath bomb, so I stocked up on a few scents including mermaid kisses and Lily of the valley. They were buy 3 get 1 free, so of course I took advantage of that! They're made with olive oil that leaves a silky smooth feeling on your skin, but rinses easily away so your bath tub isn't slick. The color residue isn't super strong; no colorful displays while you soak, but the aroma is great and lasts for a good while. While I was browsing, I heard the woman working explaining different benefits of goat milk and donkey milk for sensitive skin, aging skin, etc. and it was clear she knew her stuff. Her confidence and knowledge made for a very comfortable shopping experience even though I didn't directly need any assistance.

Oh my goodness am I happy with my decision to come see Cathy at Satin Soles for my lash extensions…read more I spent weeks scouring Groupon and reading online reviews before deciding to come to Satin Soles and I am so glad I did!!! I have had extensions done at 2 other salons and the quality does not even compare. The previous extensions did not last, and they left my lashes quite damaged as many of the lashes came out with the extensions. Not the ones that Cathy did!! These lashes look and feel so natural, and after 2 weeks I didn't even need a fill yet. I get so many complements and people question if they are real or not because they look like they are mine!! The salon is clean, and I appreciated Cathy being so informative and making sure I was satisfied with the look and the aftercare routine to make my lashes last as long as possible. They feel light and I don't even notice them until I catch people noticing them on me. I will not be going anywhere else for my lashes ever again even though I have to drive about an hour to get here. The drive is completely worth the end result! She was even so pleased with how they looked after 2 weeks that she suggested I not waste my fill that was already paid for and come back in another week. Such honesty is hard to come by, as she could have easily "filled" them even though they didn't really need it and charged me again in another few weeks.
