This places is described by some colleagues and friends as "the mother load" and they are correct. It's got everything you need to get your vibe on. Their wig shop selection is massive as is weave. Be sure to call prior to make fitting appointment if you are shopping for high end wigs. Tons of hair, body products, accessories, and a gazillion things you didn't know you needed. Horrible customer service. I spent $1,000 on human hair clip in extensions and the new management wouldn't help me at all to determine the length or the color on the huge amount that I spent. The old management was so much more accommodating considering the price tag and level of personalization needed for extensions. Save your $$ and the trip and buy your extensions from Bellami online where at least they pretend to care about the customer. Garbage new ownership and customer service! read more

This is typical black hair beauty supply store; I'm always able to find what I need and expect.They have items like shampoos, conditioners, relaxers, wigs, make-up, hair styling equipment like flat irons and blow dryers. There's little shopping carts which is helpful because a lot of places similar to this only have baskets to carry which can get heavy. I don't know of other beauty supply stores in this area that is like your typical black hair store, so the location is convenient for me. But there are other similar stores in St. Petersburg and Tampa that has a wider selection of products. read more

I never have written a review in my life but I felt it was necessary for this place. I had been wanting clip in extensions but never thought it was worth my time or money. my hair color is crazy and has 1 million different shades of blonde in it and I just didn't think it would be possible to get the right shade. I came here because my friend had tried it out and she loved the clip ends so I thought I would give it a try. I was there for no more than five minutes and the lady picked out my color perfectly and was so helpful. The first color she picked matched perfectly, but I was still on the edge as of how they would look when I got home and put them in. The lady who helped me makes them and she was so helpful and nice and easy to talk to. after putting them in when I got home I realized it was the best purchase I have ever made and if you are questioning getting extensions go here you won't regret it i promise you . The place is not ghetto or anything and you can tell the hair is good quality. they are so easy to put in and looks so natural people don't even know I have extensions and when I tell them. Stopped in as a suggestion for s spiky hair wrap. Spoke with a lady the day before who understood what I was looking for & color. Upon arriving, nobody could understand me, the lady who told me to ask for her was eating lunch on premise. They had me searching up & down every aisle for 45 minutes.....so frustrating. I've been getting hair extensions, lashes, & a lot of other things here for years. This location has everything you could need from jewelry to makeup to cute tights & even some of the cutest cheap sunglasses I've ever worn. The staff are always so helpful, friendly, and professional and are really great at finding you a perfect match for your hair color. Extensions are amazing quality and they even offer a service where they'll sew on the clips for you if you don't want to buy the ones with clips pre-installed. Buyer beware! This place is great if you want to have the employees argue with you over the quality of hair you received from them supposedly unused and if you have expectations of buying real human hair you will likely be sold knockoff fiber hair that arrives rusted. I purchased hair that claimed to be "real human hair" and once I took it out of the box I could see rust marks... hair should not rust, fiber however, which is what I'm convinced they sold me, would. The woman argued with me that maybe I did this or perhaps it was makeup of hair dye... once again proving to be used is what she decided to clapback with. What kind of shady business cannot back the quality of their products and blame the consumer for crap merchandise they sell day in and out and refuse to refund me despite the conflicting verbiage on their receipt stating a possibility to? No customer deserves this. I would drive farther and spend more for better service, but common decency should be free. Also, do not say you are doing me a favor when you refuse to refund me. You are doing a disservice by scamming people. read more

Went shopping for the first time there to purchase a specific hair dye, which they didn't have. They mostly carry loreal, clairol, and wella. They have a nice variety of nail polishes (I got some nice fall colors for $1.99) and awesome lip liners for $1.49!! I noticed they carry Nioxin, which are fantastic hair products. It seems to me they are the mecca for hair extensions, weaves and wigs. They have an entire plethora of them. It is a big location so go with time so you can go aisle by aisle. I also saw some costume jewelry. The checkout guy had an enjoyable vibe. They close at 8 pm. read more

Hair packs short. Takes 15 of his packs to do what normally only takes eight packs. I got lace glue that didnt work. Went to Clearwater and got the same product. It worked perfectly. Which leads me to believe his product isn't real or watered down. When i called to make a complaint, was asked to call back in a hour. His human hair feels fake and his braid hair smells. Been stop buying it. Will be opening a REAL beauty supply store at the end of the year. Save your money ppl and drive to Clearwater or Tampa for your weave. I went here 2 years ago for my extensions and I would've given this place a 5 out of 5 star rating. So I decided to let my friend check this place out and she was completely unsatisfied. There was a big scene at the checkout because they did not match her color correctly, got the length wrong, and tried charging her $400 instead of $200 because they didn't know her hair was that thick when I asked her repeatedly to look at her hair before she makes a purchase. As the lady put the extensions in the look on her face was pure shock of how bad it looked so she tried other ideas but nothing worked. We then talked to the manager and she was pointing fingers back at me and saying "it's my fault because I recommend her here". That pissed me off beyond extreme and I demanded a refund and didn't get one because it's 'our fault'. This place is ridiculous and you'll have better luck anywhere else or Sally's. read more

The staff was extremely helpful, and spent a significant amount of time helping me find the exact match for me. They took the extra step-showed me the best way to place my hair piece and exactly how to style it. Used to like shopping at this place. Not anymore needed a hair piece for my daughter and her girl friends for a cheer competition they have in a few days. So we go in to go shopping and we found the hair pieces one was marked at a lower price only a dollar lower then the others for the same exact same brand and color. When I went to register to pay I requested that I be charged the lower price for all of them. The guy at the cash register and the female manager wouldn't do it after several words spoken. The manager ripped the price off made the accusation that a customer ripped the price off something else and stuck in on there. Then they charged me the dollar more for the one that was cheaper. The cashier actually said if you don't like it you don't need to buy them!! I was appalled and if I wasn't in a dire need for the hair pieces I would have walked out but obviously had to buy them. I would not recommend this place to anyone the staff are rude unfriendly and have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all!!!!! It is now my mission to discourage anyone from shopping there. read more

ABSOLUTELY the worst customer service ever. The women that work in this place are EXTEMELY rude. I have purchased hair for extensions in my salon for years. Recently, I have experienced horrible results with the Lord and Cliff and Soprano's brand. I have had extensive training in various extension. Recently the last 5 sets of extensions that I have done have all complained of the extensions slipping and the hair falling out of the actual bonds. I took one customer back into the store with me to show them what was happening and they told me "they have had no other complaints" yet I spoke with other stylist in the area that have said them same. In addition, I spoke with the young man who works there and he said the indeed have had issues with the hair sheding from the bonds and the bonds slipping. I asked them if I could return the hair and get a refund. I was told no!! One specific customer paid 500.00 and she had 10 strands in her head after 30 days. This is ridiculous. They said it was b/c she didn't take care of the properly. The lady has had extensions for 6 years and has NEVER had a problem. The other girl whose extensions are falling out is a stylist and she DEF. KNOWS how to take care of them. I'm afraid to see what I am in for with the other customers who I have put them in recently. I WILL NEVER get hair from this place again. When I expressed concern the old woman who runs the store said "where else are you going to get hair??? there is no where else so you just have to deal w/ the hair" NO I don't. If I have to order the hair I will but I REFUSE to use substandard hair on my clients. HORRIBLE read more
