I had never been to LUSH before. Zach was amazing! Upon entering the store he greeted us immediately. He was so friendly and informative about all their products and the company. He was very encouraging about trying samples of different stuff. He was also honest about what products were good for certain skin types. He never made us feel pushed to buy anything. I purchased a lotion bar and a massage bar. I haven't used the massage bar (saving for Vday with the hubby). But the lotion is amazing! My coworker purchased a few different things. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Here is why...after leaving the store we went to shop at other places. One coworker decided to sit on a bench and take a phone call. Fast forward about 30 minutes when my coworker came into the new store we were at I noticed her LUSH bag not in her hands. After looking for it we realized someone had stolen it. She immediately called the store and they were happy to replace all of her items. TALK ABOUT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

You can read reviews on their own website - folks complain about this all the time. They do a great job of letting you know what they don't test on - animals. That's great, but I'm not sure they fully test their products. I think it's basic soap and they focus on the scents, which often cause irritation. My other issue with this company is their website. They list items on sale, but then these items are never available. Interestingly, the items that are in stock are not on sale. This applies to a single product where the size in stock is not on sale, but the size that's out of stock is on sale. It's just an illusion. You can find natural products at Walmart for an 1/8th of the price.

It's apparently only sold in spa & hotel collections. I really wish that they would sell it at the shops. It's such a great product! I did find something that I feel will work just as well. The Verveine scent is a little different, but has the same feel as the one I was looking for. They also have this great Citrus Verbena that has a lighter scent than the traditional Verveine. I've been using the shower gel and body milk that was purchased online. The aroma gives off relaxing vacation vibes. It's definitely one that I will continue to buy. I also must say that I noticed a big difference in my skin when using these products while on a cruise. It was part of the spa amenities for that suite. What a smart way to sell a brand such as this one! It certainly won me over with great results. I'm looking forward to trying out the almond oil samples as well. If you visit the store in person, and are already an Anthro fan, you will definitely find something you love. The sales people were friendly and helpful, putting items in the fitting room for me as I plucked them off the racks. The store had a surprising amount of clothes for sale. All new, or pre-loved, with tags. I loved that the clothing had the original Anthropologie tag on the item, showing the original cost, and then the store tag showing the much less price. Every item was separated by clothing item (shirt rack, skirt rack, dress rack, pants, etc.) and then by size. In the back room was a BOGO rack. Accessories like glasses, key chains, purses, etc. were also available for purchase. They had a small amount of Anthro home goods; I had been hoping this section would be larger. I tried on a lot and eventually ended up getting two shirts. I am an Anthropologie fan in general, so I was thrilled to be able to pay a lot less for the quality merchandise.
