Chicken is hot, fresh, juicy & crunchy! I enjoyed the rice with seaweed flakes on top. Service was quick and friendly.

ALL of the food is delicious! Love the bar setup also. Wing flavors that are the bomb: Hot honey Parmesan Lemon pepper Zesty Honey garlic Idk what the sauce is they serve with the boudin rolls but OMG lol I need a gallon of it I'm glad we found this spot to try. He Almost put in a catfish po boy instead of shrimp po boy. The price was crazy expensive. We ordered 8 wings , shrimp po boy , kids tender , 4 tender meal, and the boudin rolls. It came out to be about $90-$95 with the tip. Probably should t of given a large tip . Oh ... I came back and got drinks for an additional $17 for 2 lemonade and Coke Zero. The food was a 4 out of five .. the flavor was absolutely delicious but my wings were really cold and their wings were half the size of wing stop. Something about the ranch was delicious.... It could have been homemade. My wife also got sweet potatoes and they were way better than the fries. For some reason the kids meal didn't let you have a sauce , for only 2 tenders and for it being $11 ... not sure why you couldn't. Before we left we also got to see a tree roach on the ground laying on its back and freaked out my girls. I was surprised to see this place had a 4.7 on Google reviews .... I was hoping for the best wings never had and obviously very disappointed. My wife and kids said... we should have gone to wing stop ... I mean.. for the half the price we would have been very satisfied.

I thought I found it y'all. I though I had it. I thought I even done had found it. Can I say that?…read moreIt's all wrong. But that's what happened. So I wanted some fried chicken from somewhere that I hadn't been before. Ever. And after some searches in the area, this place pops up. That one photo looked acceptable at the time. Plus, it was close and I was prepared to drive far. It was a little tricky to find cause I was not at all expecting this place to be inside a gas station. But there it was. It was very clean on the inside. And there was no drive through so I had to go in. I walked in and saw absolutely no chicken waiting. You know like you traditionally see at every fast food fried chicken spot. However, not seeing any actually encouraged me. I've always wanted a spot that only fried it upon order. As that's how chicken should be made. And this place was clean enough to officially make this my spot to love. The prices where awesome. The service was awesome. I asked a few questions about the chicken for I've never seen it so I wanted to know if it was seasoned well and looked like the pics hanging around the place. They were kind enough to answer my questions even if I came off a bit weird. So I order and received my ticket to go pay at the front. (Yeah you have to pay at the station part and take your receipt to the back to pick up order.) They warned it would take 30 minutes to get my order. I was happy to wait. Thirty minutes later and a drive home, I couldn't wait to tear into that delicious smelling chicken that held me hostage in that car with a confidence that I hit a home run. I must have been driving 120mph to get home. Wife in tow, yelling of course. Ripped open that box, took a few shots for Yelp and bit into crunchy Bliss. I loved it. It was perfect... In my blind mind. After the 2nd piece... I was done. I was no longer a hopeful. I had experience now and, an after taste. See the chicken was golden and crispy on the outside. The skin tasted puuur-fect. But the inside flavor had an aftertaste. Parts of it had a red color. Not from being raw, but from some sort of seasoning. Which is fine because they clearly marinated the meat. The problem is... It had a ginger taste to it. I paused. I frowned. I... Hate... Ginger. So. With all that. And a 16 piece. And the perfect cooked and crispiness and flavor to the skin. I have to sadly give them 3 stars. I wanted so bad to love this place, especially because it's made to order. A dream come true. If they would only omit that ginger flavor in the meat, I would be a fan. I end with. No. I tried, you fried and didn't Prosper.

I remembered it was nearby, so I told my boyfriend we might as well take advantage of the deal and try somewhere new while we were in the area. When we got there, the place looked renovated. There were a couple tables inside and the ordering counter was immediately on the left when you walked in. The workers at the counter were helpful while we ordered. We both ended up getting the kbbq chicken bowls. My boyfriend got the spicy version and I got the regular with added cabbage because I love the little crunch it gives. The food came out pretty quickly and we decided to eat inside. Honestly, the bowls were good and very filling for the size we ordered. It's a pretty simple meal , rice on the bottom and chicken on top ,but sometimes simple just works. While I was eating it, I kept telling my boyfriend the chicken tasted super familiar and I couldn't figure out why at first. Then it finally hit me, it tastes almost identical to the teriyaki chicken from Panda Express. And honestly, I didn't mind that at all because I actually like that flavor. So if you've had Panda Express teriyaki chicken before, that's probably the closest comparison I could give. One thing that definitely made the bowls even better was adding the soy sauce packets they had on the side. That extra flavor pulled everything together for me. Overall, I enjoyed it. It's not anything super fancy or life-changing, but it was a simple, tasty meal that didn't feel too heavy, which I personally liked. I told my boyfriend if we're ever back in the area, we'd definitely stop by again.

Only restaurants that close at around 10PM. Blue Rooster to the rescue! I would easily say this is one of the best Irish Pubs in all of Cypress. The fish and chips are good here. Perhaps not the best, but they are tasty. The fries are absolutely delicious and that's about all I can say about the food as I've not yet tried anything else. I've been eyeing the wings but the fish and chips have won on my debate on what to order for the last and only 3 times I was there. They have a full bar that's kept clean, 2 pool tables and 2 dart boards. The setup there is comfortable and easy to relax and mingle with other patrons. Oh and let me not forget to mention that it's completely Smoke Free. (Yeaaaahhhh!!!) They have Karaoke I believe on Thursdays and Steak Nights on Wednesday. Ive yet to try the steak night but it's certainly on my to do list ASAP. They do have beer of course but I must mention that they also have some IPA options unlike some of the other nearby pubs that barely carry just one. I have to admire a place that carry craft beer options for the patrons that want more than just the same ole beers they can have at home. Now what I like more about this place which keeps me coming back is the service and the ambience. It has that Cheers type of environment and welcoming feel that makes ya feel a bit homey. I also have to introduce the Cypress area to probably one of the best bartenders I've seen in all of Cypress and that's Tori. My last visit there she was running that entire bar "Alone". I mean there was zero lag time on getting your refills and it was hopping that night. She was literally everywhere like a super hero taking care of guest and all with a big smile. I was able to get her to freeze a bit to strike a pose and then in a flash she was back at it taking great care of other patrons. Tori is Ms. Marvel behind that bar for sure. Cock a doodle do, and Prosper!

We came in with a group and decided to go all in--and I'm so glad we did because every single dish showed up and showed out. Let's start with the cheeseburger and fries--this wasn't your average bar burger. It was thick, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The kind of burger where every bite is flavorful and satisfying. And those fries? Golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside... basically impossible to stop eating. The shepherd's pie (full order) was pure comfort in a dish. Rich, savory meat layered with vegetables and topped with creamy mashed potatoes that were baked to a beautiful golden finish. It had that homemade, hearty feel that just hits different--especially when you're sharing with good company. Now the fish and chips... WOW. Light, crispy batter that didn't overpower the fish, which was flaky and tender inside. Not greasy, not heavy--just perfectly fried and paired with fries that held their crunch. Exactly what you want from a proper Irish pub. And let's talk about the wings--because we tried two kinds, including the Jameson wings, and they were next-level. The sauce had that smooth, slightly sweet, slightly bold whiskey flavor that made them stand out in the best way. Sticky, flavorful, and cooked just right. The other wings held their own too--great crisp, great sauce coverage, and packed with flavor. Beyond the food, one thing that always stands out to me is how clean and well-kept the place is. That matters--and Blue Rooster Irish Pub & Grill consistently delivers. It makes the whole experience feel comfortable, welcoming, and just easy to enjoy. Great food, great atmosphere, and a place that clearly takes pride in what they do.
