This place is inside the Monarch Market and I have really been craving Korean corn dogs so I decided to grab a couple for me and my friends to try. The cashier was super nice and helpful with options. I decided to get a regular mozzarella one and a half and half with potato breading. First of all they look too pretty to eat lol. The cheese pull was immaculate *chefs kiss*. I got it with ketchup and spicy mayo and that spicy mayo was spicy . It added a good flavor and spice to the corn dogs. The breading seem slightly undercooked but overall it was crunchy, crispy , really good texture. I personally liked the half and half with the mozzarella and sausage because it gave it different flavors and layers to it. The potato breading was also better than the regular in my opinion. I would definitely go back for more whenever I'm in the area. I'd give it a 8.6/10

This food stand is in Monarch Market, which is a food hall. On the day we went it was crowded but the food came out in the 4 minutes they promised. I had the Chick Bap with no edits. It was quite good. I didn't expect the glass noodles as part of the deal- they added a nice surprise. They also have some Korean bottled drinks- I had a watermelon soda; super sweet but good.

Tried a K-dog with half cheese traditional panco with saracha ranch. It had a great bite to it. Not too greasy either. It was dropped fresh. It wasn't crispy, but the sauce added a nice acidity.

I always enjoy my meal here. It's yummy, fast and quality ingredients. I like that they make their own sauces in house that you can add to your kdogs, and they come in the kupbap bowls. It's also the only k-dog place I know of in Charlotte that makes their own batter fries them fresh in front of you. My favorite thing is that they have a bunch of Korean drinks to try. And the owners are really nice. The food hall itself is nicely decorated with a lot of plants and comfortable seating.

    Recpite for purchase.

Best Kdogs in town. The cheesy one is the one to go for first. If you like cheese sticks or you are a frontage lover you have to try these.

My wife and I had each visited Japanese steakhouses like this before we met, but somehow neither of us had been to one during our 18 years together. Then we discovered Noboru! We enjoyed our first visit so much that we returned just two weeks later. It isn't overly fancy--it offers the classic Benihana-style experience, with the chef preparing everything directly in front of you--but the food is tender, flavorful, and filling. Of course, you also get dinner and a show! The service was spot-on during both visits. We were always well taken care of, and everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I ordered the larger filet dinner both times and didn't change a thing. When something is that good, why mess with it? My wife ordered the steak and shrimp during our first visit, but she enjoyed my filet so much that she upgraded to the filet and shrimp on our return. Quality cuts of meat, skillful preparation, excellent seasoning, friendly service, and an entertaining experience have made Noboru a new favorite in our restaurant rotation. We thoroughly enjoyed both visits, had no complaints whatsoever, and will absolutely be back very soon. To those about to nosh, we are jealous!

We both had the Chicken Bento Boxes again...and we loved it. I've had Bento Boxes in dozens of Japanese restaurants, but this place offers such a perfect combination of items (everything we love!)...Tempura, Kaarage Chicken, Shumai, Seaweed Salad, Sushi Rolls, etc.etc. Plus, this bento box includes the salad and soup! Frankly, I wanna try other items on the menu, but I'm so addicted to this Bento Box, I just can't seem to tear away from it. My husband feels the same! Also tried their hot Sake...but think I prefer the cold version. BTW, I noticed some renovations. They now have darker Cherry Wood (?) flooring and cabinetry (behind the sushi station, that is). However, they still have some original light wood chairs and tables. Also, they separated some of the tables (Yay!)...so not as many "communal" tables like before. Anyway, think this is a good sign that this place plans to stay awhile longer!

The only access problem was the parking as the parking lane is very narrow. I don't know if there's additional parking for Yama but I drive a truck so I had to back out of the parking entrance. Just drove around the corner onto a Main Street, not South Blvd, n viola there was street parking on the side, no signs for time limits. All good. It was for a late lunch with visiting friends. Atmosphere for this meetup made us stay later than we should have bc I think we stayed til around 4:30pm? Lunch service finished maybe around 2:30-2:45? Felt badly for the person at the reception but he said it was no problem. I hv bn to Yama in Waverly a couple of times n now Yama Loso. Both serve a modern twist to Asian dishes. I love traditional Japanese meals but I also enjoy twists in recipes once in a while. Spicy edamame for starters. Looked great but I can't eat spice at the moment so I can't rate it tho my friends did eat it all up. Ate the sushi rice bowl but w/o the spicy aioli sauce n asked for something else which was on the sweet side. Comforting meal, not overwhelming, just right. Edamame, cucumbers, yellow pickled daikon, tuna, salmon, avocado. A simple lunch was all I needed. Then, the hamachi neck part came grilled, not on the menu but if they hv it they'll serve it tender n juicy. Only reason I left a star out was bc of the parking. Other than that, I'd probably go there again if I'm on that side of Charlotte but for me Waverly is closest.

Pretty good size shopping plaza and it's a standalone building. Don't have to walk thru the plaza dealing with people. Park and walk right in. For me, service is what made it just an OK experience. It was a little late for dinner but the restaurant was still open. I understand the side work for closing as I've been in the field before but if you have a table, it should be a focus on the guests not the other way around. There was a mix up on the bill and the annoyance on her face seemed as if she felt it was my fault. But she did fix the issue almost seeming begrudgingly. I'll also mention that I had to flag down other staff for refills, as well as the bill. And you know how it goes - one thing is off and it makes for a forgettable experience. But I will say that dinner was fine. See pics. Can't complain about prices or portions but when I was annoyed, I was just eating to eat. I don't know anyone out here whose tastes for Sushi/Sashimi aligns with mine so it's hard to say whether I'd go back or not. First, obviously I don't live there and second, more places I'd probably want to try before I go back for service like I experienced that night. But it's probably not likely

So his choice was here. Google directions suck they took us around the back to the parking garage for the 2nd level and since we have never been here before it took us a few minutes to figure out how to get down to the first level. When we entered there was a waiter taking an order and no one else on the floor so we had a little bit to get seated even though there were only two other parties in the restaurant. We were able to sit wherever we wanted so I sat with a view of the screen with the replay of the Brazil FIFA game on. My husband wanted the unagi don but didn't order because the price seemed high. The table next to us all ordered bowls and the serving size was huge so my husband regretted it. We order takoyaki, spicy wings, and 3 rolls Godzilla, Hadouken, and Master Roshi. The wings had amazing flavor but were not spicy. Takoyaki was flavorful and the perfect temperature. I get a lot of takoyaki that is entirely too hot and have to crack them open to cool before eating them. My husband did not enjoy the Godzilla roll he said the topping was too much and didn't add to the flavor. But enjoyed the other two. One of the most thoughtful touches was arriving to find personalized menus printed with his name and a birthday message. It was such a small detail, but it made the evening feel truly special and set the tone for a memorable celebration. We chose the Curated Family Style Tour of Mizu for Two, and every course was beautifully prepared. The seared tuna was easily our favorite dish of the evening--absolutely outstanding and something we'll be talking about for a long time. The ambiance was perfect. Between the music, the energy of the restaurant, and the spectacular views, Mizu created an atmosphere that made the evening feel both elegant and welcoming. We absolutely plan to return. The only suggestion we would make is to consider adding a sweet Riesling bottle option to the wine selection, as it would be a wonderful complement to the dining experience. Thank you, Mizu, for helping make David's birthday so special. We can't wait to visit again!

We came on a Saturday evening and arrived just in time to catch the sunset before starting our meal, which felt like the perfect start to the night. We ordered our first round of drinks, and the ladies at the table opted for the Osusume while the gentlemen ordered directly from the menu (there were four of us total). The drinks took a little while to arrive, but nothing that raised any red flags yet. Service started to feel off once the food began coming out. One of the guys received his appetizer, entrée, and side of rice almost immediately--basically all at once--while the other received his entrée well before his appetizer. As for the Osusume, it started strong with the first three dishes coming out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, that momentum stopped completely. We then waited 45 minutes to an hour before the next dish appeared. Our server did acknowledge the delays, which we appreciated, but that was about the extent of it. At one point he stopped checking in altogether, likely because he had no updates for us. What was frustrating was that we never even had the opportunity to order another round of drinks while we waited. After a couple of hours, one person in our group had to leave. Meanwhile, my friend and I were still waiting on at least three more courses from the Osusume (we were told it would be 6-9 courses). My friend's husband eventually went to the host stand to ask for a manager. When the manager arrived, we were given conflicting explanations as to why our food still hadn't come out. By this point it had been over three hours, and we still had three courses left to receive. Another friend left because the wait had become so unreasonable. Unfortunately, the manager didn't offer anything to help make up for the experience--no drinks while we waited, no gesture for the delay, nothing beyond explanations that didn't quite line up. Walking past the kitchen, things appeared chaotic and disorganized. It honestly seemed like our order may have gotten lost in the shuffle more than anything else. Tables that were seated well after us were able to order, eat, and leave. At one point a group of about ten celebrating a birthday came in after us, enjoyed their entire meal, cut a cake, and left while we were still waiting. Even small touches fell through the cracks. We never received the lemon or water enhancements that were being brought to other tables, and getting a simple water refill often took 30+ minutes. Going that long without any drink--water included--is tough for a restaurant of this caliber. Eventually, because it had gotten so late, we asked to have the remaining courses packaged to go. Unfortunately, that experience wasn't much better. The food was poorly packaged and didn't seem intended to be shared between two people, which made it difficult to properly enjoy what should have been the remaining courses of the Osusume experience. In the end, we were offered a series of explanations but not much in the way of service recovery. We were patient throughout the entire experience and didn't make a scene, but the lack of communication and basic hospitality made the evening feel like a missed opportunity. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. Lack of service is one thing, but when concerns are raised to a manager and they seem to be brushed off, it makes the experience even more disappointing. I could maybe forgive slow service if it were a one-off situation, but the lack of ownership or effort to make things right makes it hard to suggest this spot to others. Come at your own risk and be ready for disappointment.
