I was concerned because it was a very small family company. Since then I have been 100% satisfied. If there is a problem they are on top of it. For example this Thursday (Thanksgiving weekend), I reported a problem to the general number (a yellow light on the panel). I got a call back from the owner within the hour (a service you don't get often). I couldn't take the call and I decided to wait till Monday as it was not an emergency situation. Can you believe that the owner called me back? This is the kind of service you will get from Victor Security for a fraction of the price from the other companies.

The home did not have a wired electric doorbell which was required for my cameras, and Adam (owner of 1 Solution AV) was quick to reach out. I had initially asked for recommendations for electrician but appreciated that he reached out privately to explain what I would need done. Adam immediately offered to come over and look at what I would need done and provided a free estimate. His communication / response time was quick and professional. Throughout the estimate he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. After receiving the quote, he provided his card and without pressuring whatsoever said to call if I was interested. I reached out the same day to get scheduled. He was again quick to respond and booked me within the same week. He even reached out again to help move my installation to a Sunday morning due to the weather forecast. The installation went smoothly and quickly, and he was professional throughout the entire experience. We had some hiccups with the security system equipment (no fault of his own) and he was quick to assist as I spoke to the security system customer service. I would highly recommend Adam and 1 Solution AV and will absolutely use again for any additional services as we get settled into our new home.

Walk away and don't look back. Pye Barker is unreasonable to deal with when it comes to customer…read moresatisfaction. I tried to cancel service that was established by Royal Security who was then bought out by Altronics. Pye Barker refuses to honor the change of name that was approved by Altronics as the result of an estate settlement upon the death of my mother. The contract with Altronics clearly stated that the account number would remain the same, the monitoring period would remain the same and the remaining months left on the annual service would be credited as paid in full. Now they want to wipe away that time frame and claim the contract is being cancelled 7.73 months early. My relationship spans over 22 years going back to when we had another property under Royal Security. In less than a year with Pye Barker, my satisfaction went to total dissatisfaction. Stay away from Pye Barker and find a smaller security company with more personalized treatment!

I called Jason just after looking up well-reviewed DC contractors on Yelp. In short, another contractor has been in default of my contract with him and has not delivered on a very large and expensive project. After getting fed up I looked into my legal options and also other contractors to finish the work I've started. Despite my calling him totally unsolicited on a Friday evening, Jason talked with me for nearly a half hour about the multitude of options available to me to protect myself against this contractor, how to press him into action, how to ensure he gets the work done, and much more. I cannot express how much he put my mind at ease compared to the way I'd been feeling just a few minutes before our call. I hope to update this review someday with info on work we've done together, but for now that's what I'm able to share.
