Jim is great at calling people back in a timely manner. The motorcycle shop I work at called and left a voicemail about dropping off an R1200 shock today. Shortly after, Jim called back and let us know it could be dropped off. I drove out to Valley Park from Pacific, and it was a nice drive. Shock Zone Suspension is located behind Jim's house in a large metal barn full of bikes and tools. I got the R1200 shock dropped off and Jim told me I could expect it to be finished by mid-next week. Talked to Donelson Shop and they had aftermarket options to help bring the cost down substantially. Trailered the bike to them for diagnostics and/or repairs needed. Turns out it was just a battery. everything else was fine and working as designed This shows the honesty and knowledge base these guys have her. A shady shop could have stuck me for 3 times the amount I had to pay. On top of that the mechanic took 20 minutes of his time and discussed battery AND fuel system care during off season! TOP NOTCH in my books. You have a customer for life!

It is also a retail store. I admit I did some research on-line prior to coming in and I also phoned to speak with a salesman. When I arrived after work I perused the parking lot and then the showroom. They have a good number of UTVs, ATVs and motorcycles, Can-Ams. I was here to look at a Kawasaki and they had exactly one in stock. Armed with a salesman's name I wandered to the back counter and dropped the name. Within minutes I was introduced and being fed stats. The purchase was overall easy. There was some negotiating room despite the fact that the vehicle was the only one I could find in St. Louis that week. They also helped with some accessories at a discounted price. I was also offered to have the vehicle brought to my house within a certain mile radius. I deferred. My one complaint was that on the day I came to pick up my vehicle it was a little busy and I felt the pick up process was a little rushed. Overall a satisfying experience. I'll update this if I need to use their service department.

Didn't send 3rd supplement in so I had to get the run around from both stl powersport and State Farm. Chasing checks because the owner is only in once a week when he wants to be. If your going to Nickle and dime charge a customer atleast complete the work that was asked of you too do. Requested maintenance service was told no problem we can do it. Welp come to find out they didn't. Needless to say won't be back. Go to surdyke in festus they won't give you the run chasing answers around like this place and hold to their word.

The technician asked me what problems I was experiencing, did a quick look over the bike and gave me his initial thoughts on what was needed. He called me the next day and thoroughly explained what had to be done and what might be postponed. The service was completed promptly, accurately and at an amazingly fair price. Two employees at separate times asked me if I needed assistance. I told them I was just browsing. As I walked by the repair area, there was a man working on a bike. I have an e-bike that I need to bring to a shop to replace the front triangle. I asked the mechanic if I could ask him a question. Initially, he seemed to either ignore me or not hear me. I just stood there not knowing why there was this extended awkward pause. He eventually turned his head and stared at me saying nothing. He was visibly irritated. At this point, I felt like I was not welcome and was bothering the man. I asked if they work on e-bikes. He grudgingly answered the question. I walked out of the store and probably will never comeback. The only reason I did not give a one star rating is because of the two gentlemen who asked me if I needed anything. Some bike shop people forget they have a job because of customers like me who ask questions. I gave him the chance to create a bond and he blew it.
