Jim is great at calling people back in a timely manner. The motorcycle shop I work at called and left a voicemail about dropping off an R1200 shock today. Shortly after, Jim called back and let us know it could be dropped off. I drove out to Valley Park from Pacific, and it was a nice drive. Shock Zone Suspension is located behind Jim's house in a large metal barn full of bikes and tools. I got the R1200 shock dropped off and Jim told me I could expect it to be finished by mid-next week. It is also a retail store. I admit I did some research on-line prior to coming in and I also phoned to speak with a salesman. When I arrived after work I perused the parking lot and then the showroom. They have a good number of UTVs, ATVs and motorcycles, Can-Ams. I was here to look at a Kawasaki and they had exactly one in stock. Armed with a salesman's name I wandered to the back counter and dropped the name. Within minutes I was introduced and being fed stats. The purchase was overall easy. There was some negotiating room despite the fact that the vehicle was the only one I could find in St. Louis that week. They also helped with some accessories at a discounted price. I was also offered to have the vehicle brought to my house within a certain mile radius. I deferred. My one complaint was that on the day I came to pick up my vehicle it was a little busy and I felt the pick up process was a little rushed. Overall a satisfying experience. I'll update this if I need to use their service department.

I brought my…read morenewly purchased zx6r in for a state inspection, new tires, oil change, brake bleed, lube chain and to get looked over and see if there's anything else they suggest since it had been sitting for 2 years when they called me back the following day with my tire quote they wanted $1100!! for two tires and install I told them to go ahead and do the other things I wanted since I would have to trailer it somewhere else and I started calling around for tire quotes donelson cycles quote was 620$ for two tires and install much more realistic. As for the rest of the service I had them do they charged me 140$ for a general check over during which they couldn't even figure out that my battery was low or dead because as soon as I get home it won't start because the battery was dead but starts right up after sitting on the charger for a night on top of that they charge 190$ for a basic oil change, my car which takes twice as much oil costs about half that. I ended up paying about 700$ for a brake bleed, oil change, coolant flush, chain lube and a state inspection and the cherry on top I payed premium price and got mediocre service I dropped my bike of clean and got my bike back covered in grease and oil normally wouldn't care if I hadn't paid so much for the service. I wouldn't recommend this place to any of my friends or enemies don't be like me call around first and save your pockets.

Located in Lake St. Louis just off interstate 70 they work out of a storage unit along with dozens of other businesses. The nice thing is, this helps keep the price down, but they still deliver quality work. I'm extremely happy with the job they did for me, I needed my gas tank flushed a tuneup, an oil change, and I needed my scoot gone through from front to back top to bottom and that's exactly what they did. I brought a bike here for inspection and was turned away due to no blinkers (not required in the state of MO for vintage motorcycles) the guy just didn't want to be honest and didn't know how to do an inspection on a hardtail motorcycle and made sure to tell me how I was wrong but I went right down the road and got the bike inspected and was out the door in 10 minutes.
