About Us
Ruth Gurry, opened her Sensationails by Ruth in 1989, a tiny salon specializing in all aspects of nail care. At the same time, she started her school, Vt. Institute of Nail Technology (VINT). It was the first licensed nail school for nail technicians in the state...
History
Established in 1998.
After graduating from nail school, worked at a neighborhood salon and after two short years, 1998 opened Sensationails by Ruth. Open also a nail school at the same time. Did manicures and pedicures by day, and at night taught the artistry of manicures and pedicures, artificial applications and nail care. Salon continued to grow, and again in two short years opened a day spa. Continued to do mani's and ped's and 13 years later sold day spa, took a few weeks off and re-opened first nail salon Sensationails by Ruth where I am now, taking care of my friends and clients. I am happy to say Sensationails, is a warm, cozy place to visit. Aromatherapy fills the rooms, a passion I have had since studying essential oils back in 1998. The colors of the salon are very warm, burgundy and beige. My guests always spend quality time at the salon, always one on one. They have my full attention, no phones ringing, no interruptions. I love my home away from home.
