Selfishly, I almost hesitate to give a great review of Michele's nail Spa to prevent my not being able to get an appointment next time I want one but the good angel on my shoulder is preventing me from doing that. Michele does a GREAT JOB. She's highly competent and my manicure lasted way longer than usual. I was also very pleasantly surprised at how nice her little room was decorated. It was super clean as well which is always very important to me and an issue that most often prevents me from returning to a new salon. I will say it took me several tries over a number of weeks and months to get an appointment but I am very glad that I finally got in and of course, made a follow up appointment for the next time. The cost was a bit more than I normally pay but for great quality, it is well worth it. I look forward to seeing Michele again soon. read more

I was at Mt. Snow for the weekend and since it was crummy weather, I decided to get a mani/pedi instead of skiing. I was leery about having this done in VT in general and by someone who I did not know in particular. I, erroneously, thought most salons up here would be sub-par to the CT and NY salons I am used to. Boy was I WRONG! Michele, from Long Island, is the quintessential nail professional! She knew just how to do my gel nails (not just gel polish) and tips. She was very receptive to my very specific requests. She was friendly, funny and very skilled. The personal attention was a real treat! The salon itself SHOCKED me, as it was absolutely gorgeous. Clean, modern, elegantly decorated and meticulously kept. I felt like I was in an exclusive, private spa at a 5 star resort. It really was a great little oasis from the earthy experience we all love so much about VT. If you need to be pampered and prefer to do it with class and style, this is the place for you! DO NOT GET DIP AT THIS PLACE. She seemed very nice at first but then was very rude and condescending. I noticed that when she was putting powder on my nails, parts of my nail were not being covered. I asked her if she could fill the gaps in and she said that my nails were "not meant for dip," that there was nothing she could do about it, and that maybe next time I shouldn't ask for dip. Another thing was the top coat ended up all clumpy and patchy. When she was done, I had glue under my nails and she did not even TRY to clean up the surrounding area of my nails, which left color everywhere on my nails. I don't typically give bad reviews but I paid almost 60 dollars for someone to give me terrible customer service and a bad nail job that was entirely unprofessional. read more

The salon is decorated with exquisite taste and such a homey feel. Even the restroom has you feeling as though your visiting a good friend's home rather than a nail salon! Michele's is a one woman salon which allows for each client to feel like they are really cared for and pampered. Even if you brought along a friend or your daughter for a mani/pedi, they can wait in the relaxing salon. The pedicure chair with the massage options is relaxing and therapeutic. Michele is such a wonderful and warm person and spending time in the salon with her was wonderful. Felt like a real spa experience without crazy spa prices! read more

Such a nice change from the large salons, cozy, pretty, peaceful with lovely decorating and then add on Michele for expert pampering. No rush, gentle, relaxing pedicure or if you want a manicure, she can do all kinds of good stuff. I am a repeat customer who plans on repeating again in the near future! read more

I was so excited when I heard we were getting a new nail spa in town. I was not disappointed when I visited Michele. As others have mentioned the salon is ADORABLE and impeccably decorated down to the last detail. It is cozy, chic, and modern. It puts you instantly at ease with tons of thoughtful touches. I'm a long time on and off wearer of both gel and acrylic extensions, but Michele's are among the very best. She's always receptive to requests about length, or style etc. Her skill level is superb, and she really takes her time with each client. Michele is a one woman show, which results in detail oriented, personal attention. It also means she is not overbooking her time, and allows ample time for each client. I've never felt rushed. In fact, the most recent time when I ran a few minutes into someone else's time, Michele creates such an ease in the salon that I instantly felt like I was gabbing among girlfriends with a total stranger. Prices may feel high compared to larger salons, but are absolutely worth it. In the world of nails you get what you pay for and Michele is as good as it gets! You'll easily drive an hour+ for nail service that even comes close to this. read more

I had a great experience with Michele! I don't think I've ever received the level of personal attention I had here, and I probably never will since there is only one chair. Michele and I chatted, but I get the feeling she does well with quiet too. The salon is spotless and thoughtfully appointed and she made every effort to make me feel comfortable, and not on a phony way. While I was there a client called to make sure she could put her groceries in the fridge and she was very welcome to. If I ever find myself in the area again, I will certainly be visiting Michele again. My only advice to would-be clients is to call ahead. This is not a walk-in establishment and only one client is served at a time. read more

Michele's nail spa was truly the best nail salon I have ever been too. She made me feel very welcome Her salon was cozy and beautifully decorated, like it was pulled right out of a magazine. Also, she put lots of effort and time into my manicure, and their were no smudges or mistakes. For the work done, the price was more than reasonable. We were up in VT for a ski weekend but due to injuries and life circumstances, were;t able to ski. So, we yelped around for a nail salon and were THRILLED to find this place. It's unassuming from the outside and then you walk in and are transported to a boutique of loveliness with an elegant edge and top notch colors and choices. It's run by Michelle and her personal attention and awesome attention to detail were amazing. She is personable, professional, and the experience felt like we were simply sitting at a good friend's house getting an awesome manicure. My manicure and pedi were perfect, not a smudge or mistake- and her colors were perfectly arranged for easy choosing.
