But, I'm not a senior citizen and was going to gather some information for my mom who I care for. Anyways, the place itself is very nice and seemingly pretty spacious. Clean overall and there's plenty of walkway for multiple people to walk to and around. If my mom was more capable and aware I would love to drop of my mom to find herself and have fun. But, it definitely seems a nice place for people to gather at.

Pest control finally came out and set traps and told them what they needed to do but they did none of it before I moved out. It was supposed to be a senior complex but it turned into some of everything. Tenants items started to come up missing. Now I don't who or whom did it but things were missing. I know people love pets but my goodness, then didn't do well at cleaning up behind their OWN pets. Pet hair left in the washers and dryers. They would wash their pet items in the washers and dryers. Heck, I got fleas or maybe bedbugs bites, I don't know which is which because I have never dealt with either one of them before. I do know that I through my comforter away.Some tenants expected maintenance to clean up THEIR dog urine and feces when they are looking at their dog doing this. The rodents got in my bed. I went through 4 air mattresses. I didn't buy an actual bed in fear of it being a total loss. I was over charged in rent. I was supposed to pay $1499 and I'm just going to be truthful, my rent was padded. The manager at the time charged $1929.00 in rent when id.gov told her to charge less. It was a lot more going on there by other managers but I'll tell that in court. I lived in a studio apartment and I was charged more than a one bedroom. I tried to write corporate but the packet came back. I have of that I speak of. Have you notice, the owner does put their name on the reviews? I have tried and tried to communicate with them but I can not reach them. Maybe the court system can or maybe they will respond through here. I want my overpayment back the cost for my 4 air mattresses.

Enter the Danville Community Center, where a close friend hosted a party for her mother's 90th. This is not the sort of space where food or drink is provided. If you want that you'll arrange for it separately, just as my friend did. She also self-managed a slide show, music, and a couple of group dances. The whole affair was perfect and the spacious, high-ceilinged room (with free on-site parking) was nicer than possibly any community center I've ever been to. While I'd not suggest the Danville Community Center to those who don't live in the East Bay if you do, and you're seeking an event venue, it is quite worth checking it out. Perhaps it might even inspire you to host an event.

Three days prior to leaving for a week long vacation, my Mom started having some health issues and…read moreended up in ER. It quickly became obvious that I was going to need full-time in-home care for her during my absence. That evening, I made a phone call to Visiting Angels of Livermore. They offered to provide a full no-commitment assessment, and I accepted. The next day, Mr. Keith Beck, Executive Director, came to my home and evaluated Mom's situation and needs. Mr. Beck was on-time, professional, organized and efficient. Following the assessment, we were introduced to a recommended caregiver who, assuming my approval, would be responsible for Mom. She was professional, very conversational with Mom and an experienced caregiver. By the end of the appointments, I was confident that Mom would have good, comforting care while I was gone. I was extremely impressed that Visiting Angels responded so quickly, and was also able to provide and dedicate quality staff in a timely manner. I continued the caregiving services on a part-time basis after I returned home as Mom was still not quite stable. Another caregiver was introduced and assigned. After a couple of weeks of continued part-time care, Mom became much better and I was comfortable with stopping the services. I highly recommend Visiting Angels of Livermore. All of my experiences (and my Mom's) were positive. It is a very well managed business with a reliable, kind, and supportive team: owner, office staff, and caregivers. Thanks to Visiting Angels I was able to enjoy my vacation. I will definitely use them again when and if the need arises. If you are considering in-home care for a loved one, Visiting Angels of Livermore is it. An excellent Yelp score....5 Stars all the way!

Visiting Angels (Glendale)was a company my father and I were ready to invest in.He has alzheimers…read more/dementia and dealing with lymphoma.He is a retired police officer and It would cost alot for his care (24/7) ,but we had the funds set aside for his care. I know it's costly for home care,but we both agreed that these friendly folks would help us out.Price was not a problem.We made an appointment for the meet and greet home evaluation and get to know our new team members and our assistants.No one showed up at the appointmeant that they promised us in the beginning.I guess that $200,000 set aside for his companionship and round the clock care went down the drain. Him and I are going to use another home health care company since Visiting Angels has decided not to follow throug.

If you are the Caregiver of a person with memory problems, YOU need a break. You can get one 3…read moretimes a week, from 10:30-2:30. You don't have to "subscribe", and the first visit is free. You do need the results of a TB test and a doctor's signature that your person is healthy enough for the program if your first visit turns out successful. And you also need to supply a bag lunch each time your person "goes to camp". The program actually takes place in the Recreation Room of a church and is run by people who, you will soon discover, are truly Saints. All the participants in the program have different needs and these Saints seem always able to anticipate those needs. They lead song-fests, memory games, Bingo, arts and crafts, and an hour of gentle exercise. My person LOVES going "to camp" and would go EVERY day if they were open.

PASSPORT SERVICES: Made an appointment for passport renewal…read more& showed up with all paperwork ready to go (pics, birth certificates, ids, checks, application, blood work --JK..I had it all. I was greeted by receptionist (no smiles just a "hello" and asked to take a seat (we arrived 30 min early to our appointment). A few minutes later the passport processor called us into her office. No greetings, just looked at me through the glass & I guess assumed I'd just know to give her all the paperwork. I did. She looked at all of it, started the process & was silent.. except when she had a few short questions. It was extremely awkward & it felt like going to DMV where they're not necessarily mean but not at all friendly. NOTE: THEY DO NOT TAKE PASSPORT PICS HERE.

San Ramon, you're growing up! How about a bright, shiny and new city hall to get the party…read morestarted? Yes, please. After living in San Ramon for almost 9 years, I was fairly unimpressed with the old City Hall digs in a nearby business park and was very happy to hear that my well-run city was going to get itself a new place to call home. So, how did it turn out? Well, I think it's beautiful! I love the rotunda (the round portion of the building with lots of glass and a shiny floor), it's grandiose and a perfect showpiece for the city. It's clear that the building was built using the latest in environmental and technological bells 'n whistles, which add to it's splendor. I happened to visit the NEW city hall for a trip to their passport office and was very pleased with the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. Congrats San Ramon, you've successfully built yourself something to be proud of - a lovely new City Hall. 5 stars.
