Senior Doc provides a very needed service for elderly people who have a difficult time leaving their home/facility for routine medical needs. Considering how these patients can come to depend upon Senior Doc, it would be wonderful if this service provided consistent and timely care but they don't. The provider has ghosted us a couple of times as we tried to get care or results from X-rays and blood tests or sort out prescriptions. It borders on absolute negligence at times, and other times it has been timely and appropriate, but we never know which it will be. We feel trapped into staying with the service as there is no other alternative. I am about to submit a complaint to the state medical board after having requested blood test and x ray results for the past two weeks to see if mother's pneumonia is resolved. No response from either the provider or the office. read more

DO NOT use Senior Doc if you're in San Diego County!!! They are based in Orange County and anything out of OC they are worthless! My parents had Senior Doc in OC for a year or so and they had a wonderful Dr who always kept me informed, kept their prescriptions filled and stayed on top of any referrals they needed. A few months back I moved my parents to San Diego County. What a disaster! The first Dr wasn't dependable, didn't refill prescriptions when needed, and was very hard to get ahold of. My mom was in need of many referrals to specialists, and the front office was just atrocious handling them. When I did finally get calls from Drs, I was told they didn't take my mom's insurance. Senior doc front office said they made sure of this when contacting specialists for my mom. Yeah right. After a couple of months, the primary Dr that was seeing my mom quit Senior Doc. I was told that a new Dr would take over. I called several times and Senior Doc front office kept telling me that a Dr would be contacting me. This went on for weeks! Finally one day I got a call that they had a Dr! Yay! Well, not a Dr that would come see her but that could do a tele-visit! Now how in the heck is a Dr on the phone going to examine my 87 year old mom with dementia, as well as heart issues and a recent stroke? Obviously this was NOT acceptable. I asked to speak to a supervisor several times and not once did the front office person have a supervisor call me. That is just so unprofessional! Needless to say I found another mobile Dr company here in San Diego and the Dr has been wonderful. I suggest Senior Doc just focus on OC, they have failed miserably here in SD County! read more

We were originally very pleased with Senior Doc, but unfortunately our recent experience has been disappointing. There appears to be a high turnover rate among providers. Our family member's nurse practitioner left in January, and as of May she still has not been assigned a new provider. A few weeks ago, our family member reported symptoms of a bladder infection. Senior Doc prescribed an antibiotic without sending a provider to evaluate her in person. There was also no follow up afterward. Yesterday, she was admitted to the hospital, and it appears she may still have a bladder or kidney infection. We are very disappointed with the level of care and follow through we have recently experienced with Senior Doc. read more

I decided to use Senior Doc to obtain a 602 form, which is used to assess patients who need to go into a care facility. I decide to pay for Senior Doc because dealing with Kaiser can require a lot of bureaucratic juggling and with the high stress I am under to find care for my mom, I figured it was worth the cost to minimize the headache. The Dr promptly filled out the form, but it was an outdated version that care communities no longer accept. I found the new form online, and called and emailed the current one hoping I would get this done. I have made multiple phone calls and spoken with various people, and now it has been 2 1/2 weeks since the assessment. I have not received the correct form. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated that I had my mom take the time to do this assessment and paid for a service that was supposed to expedite things, yet here I still wait. I am only 58 years old, but due to a stroke that I had 14 years ago during my brain surgery to remove a brain tumor, and a broken hip that I had six years ago, I am bedridden in a board and care home (assisted living home). Dr. Palencia is my doctor, out of their Temecula office, is my doctor. He comes over to the house at least once a month. Without having him come over to the house that I currently live in to see me. Since my last review in July (which I still fully stand by), my stepdad is now also being treated by a SeniorDoc psychiatric nurse practitioner named Huyen (Wen) Mai, PMHNP - BC. She is OUTSTANDING. She is working hard to help provide the best quality of life for him, navigating the interplay of several age related and other conditions. She has gone above and beyond to ensure that his symptoms are well managed and is very communicative with me - both sharing with me what's happening and listening to me - enlisting me as a partner in his care. She carefully explained medication options and helped me weigh risks/benefits. She and his PCP, Vanessa Mendoza, work closely together, providing the best continuity of care we've ever experienced. I can't say enough good things about SeniorDoc. They come to my stepdad and visit him in his apartment, they can order and have labs performed also at his apartment and they work together so his care is seamless. As an added benefit, this provides critical insight into his actual living environment (not a self report)- plus he is infinitely more comfortable in his own space and is able to converse with providers more authentically. Not only is the care some of the best we've ever had, but it is fully covered by Medicare and our supplemental policy. I HIGHLY recommend SeniorDoc if their services are available for your loved one. This care provider was recommended by the senior care home in San Clemente where my elderly mother went to live in May of 2021. Dr. Goodman seemed very good and attentive during his initial eval. Unfortunately he never came to visit my mother again despite various health issues which occurred. My mother was seen as needed by the nurses and monitors were placed in her room which supposedly the care team followed from the remote office. While the first assigned nurse, Christina, was very friendly and responsive at the beginning, the "area" was reassigned to Regina, another nurse. The care was inconsistent at best. Rotating staff. A few times we were desperate for care and we were made to wait for "shift changes" and nurses to return from vacation. Then in the Fall of 2022 the office stopped returning calls from the facility for urgent visit requests. The nurse did not return my calls nor to the facility. Wait times for visits went from 1 day to several weeks. Calls to the office were answered with "we will relay that message", and those messages were usually never responded to. The facility noticed a severe decline in the quality of their service as well. After quitting this provider, this provider disregarded our wishes to stop service and continued to call us several times for authorizations for visits. We did not consent and they were informed that they were no longer the care provider for my mother. Months later they continue to fraudulently bill Medicare for visits to my mother. I have warned them I will be reporting them to Medicare for fraud, but they hung up on me. Mr. Richer Jimenez, the billing supervisor, has my number and never called me back to discuss their fraudulent billing practices. I seriously do not recommend this provider to others. read more

If you are a professional you will recognize the games played especially by the girl in claims she is an HR leader. Be honest, don't play games, don't pretend. When a candidate applies its totally acceptable to be polite and real. Many times staff are intimidated if you know more than they do. When asked if thery were accredited HR didn't know. HR is at the top of the joke list. The Administrator will just ignore you. Be professional or hire others who are. read more
