The staff of CNAs and nurses here is well-staffed and attentive, and they have all the proper equipment to ensure patient safety. Since my mother has dementia and tends to walk around on her own--putting her at high risk for falls--they placed a bed alarm under her mattress and an alarm mat on the floor, which gives me peace of mind. The staff is sweet and thoughtful. Vanna from Customer Service is enthusiastic and friendly; she regularly visits my mother to check in on her and answer any questions I have. The kitchen even serves Vietnamese food, which my mother really enjoys. The nurses--like Kayla, Tran, Richard, LyLy, and many others whose names I can't recall right now--are all wonderful. A special thanks to Jennifer, who was incredibly helpful and attentive when I first brought my mother here. I am extremely satisfied and feel completely at ease having my mother cared for here long-term. Diem Nguyen

The facility was occupied yet they worked so hard to have my parents to be in the same room, Thank you staff! We chose Garden Care Park over many other skilled nursing facilities available in North Orange County, and we would choose it again and again for our loved ones. The facility is spotless and always smells fresh and pleasant, whether I visit in the morning or in the evening. Both of my parents have been so well taken care of. Their linens are always crisp, clean, and fresh. honestly, they smell better than at home. The staff are caring, patient, and extremely hardworking. They are wonderful at encouraging my parents to eat and making sure they are comfortable. My family is truly grateful to each and every staff members. There is no other place we would feel as comfortable having our parents stay as we do here .Thank you to the administration especially Dean, nurses, physical therapists, caregivers, and everyone for your dedication and compassionate care.

Unfortunately, my grandpa fell ill during Covid, so we had to send him to a skilled nursing…read morefacility. I've heard horror stories of skilled nursing facilities(my best friend happens to work at one), and he didn't even recommend the one he's at. Have another friend that recommended Chapman, and I'm so so so glad we went with Chapman. All of the nurses there are kind and attentive, and my grandpa, a man of few words, has been nothing but happy there. I've been reading some of the other reviews, and felt like they weren't an accurate description of just how kind and attentive the staff has been. I think with anyone, care of our elderly family members can be a touchy subject, but I'm only writing this review so other people in a similar position can feel assured sending their loved ones to Chapman in the midst of scrambling looking for one that'll take great care of their loved ones. I will say, Chapman doesn't come without it's caveats though, so here are some pros and cons I've noticed of the facility. Cons: - Due to Covid protocols, visitations are limited to scheduled 30 minute appointments. (I don't even find this to be a bad thing, I'm glad they're limiting outside exposure, ESPECIALLY because my grandpa has pre-existing conditions.) - Sometimes, we'll have to call to remind the nurses to clip his finger nails or do small things of the sort(again, I don't think this is even remotely close to a deal breaker, I believe that I should be taking part in his care as well) Pros: - Extremely attentive staff that always make sure my grandpa's well being is being taken care of, and they're never late for his timed medicines or meals(I've been there during his meal times/medicine administration times) - One thing I love about Chapman is that my grandpa is always CLEAN(like I've said earlier, facilities in general are understaffed and I've been hearing horror stories of negligence as far as hygiene goes) - The facility is relatively nice and calming, and the atmosphere is always friendly. 10/10 would recommend Chapman.

DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES STAY HERE!…read more The nurses are NEGLIGENT, my Grandma, who unfortunately passed away in this nursing home due to their negligence, was screaming out in pain for a WHOLE HOUR before my mother came to drop off food. When my mother came by she had to yell at the people in the front desk to tend to my Grandma. Why did it have to take a person to yell at them to tend to an elder who is literally screaming out in pain so loud you could hear her as you walk into the building? The nurses came to tend to her gave her some kind of strong pain killer after getting approval from a doctor they were talking to and measured her oxygen and said she was fine and kept insisting she was, my mom told the nurse to call for an ambulance multiple times and the nurse kept telling her they did. Ambulances DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL 15-20 MINUTES LATER. Garden Grove Hospital is THREE minutes away from the care center, UCI Medical Center is FIVE MINUTES away from this care center. They absolutely did not call the ambulance until it WAS TOO LATE, my Grandma had fainted and probably when she passed away and thats when they measured her oxygen and couldn't get a reading and started panicking, when the paramedics arrived they had to start her heart up again and take her to the hospital where the doctor had told my mother she was long gone and she had not received oxygen for FORTY MINUTES. It is absolutely disgusting and terrible how these nurses do NOT care at all this care center should be investigated. If you have loved ones that you love and care about DO NOT send them here, if anything were to happen to them YOU CAN NOT expect the "nurses" here to do anything to help, they will brush your elders off and ignore them. this is disgusting and disgraceful behavior from so called nurses and they should absolutely be ashamed of themselves. Imagine if my mother never came by, those people would've NEVER tended to my Grandma, imagine if it was your loved one and you come to visit to find out they had already passed in their bed because nobody would check in with them or care for them.

A loved one recently came to live here. I've visited several times and while I'm not anywhere near…read morethe age for assisted living facilities, I really think this is a great place. The facility is incredibly clean. There is staff present at all times. It's a small yet spacious facility. Once you know your way around it's hard to get lost. The residents and staff are so friendly. I think the most important part about this facility is how much planned activities there are both on and off site. Residents here STAY busy. They have at least 5-6 arranged activities daily. They have off site field trips every week. Meal times are planned and can be taken in room or the dining hall. Pets are allowed which was a major bonus for my friend. The rooms will vary in size from a small studio to a spacious one bedroom. Staff cleans rooms weekly and will do laundry as well. There are two large yards that residents can walk outside to. The second yard is located right outside of the dining hall and has a gazebo and small garden. The food is ok. The residents seem to like it and that's all that matters. I'm so grateful to the staff for all that they do in the care of their older residents. To anyone shopping around for an Assisted Living residence for their loved one; Don't just go by the words of a stranger in a review. Visit the facilities more than once, with and without your loved one. Ask questions. Speak to the residents. Understand that everyone's experience is different.

On June 12, 2026, I sent Park View a written request to begin mediation and mediator selection on behalf of my mother. No response. On July 13, I sent a second written demand asking Park View either to participate in mediation or agree to proceed directly to arbitration. No response. On July 31, I sent a formal notice documenting their non-cooperation. Still no response. I then retained an attorney. On August 25, his office personally served Fountain Valley OpCo LLC, the company operating Park View, through its registered agent with a mediation demand. Again, no participation. My concern is straightforward: Park View requests residents and families to sign an ADR agreement, but when we attempted to use that process, Park View repeatedly failed to participate. If residents are expected to honor the agreement, the facility should honor it too.

The level of care, compassion, and professionalism shown by everyone at Sun Mar is truly remarkable. No matter the situation, their staff consistently go above and beyond for their patients. Like any place, there were some issues along the way, but what stood out most was how promptly and effectively they handled everything. Every issue was addressed and resolved in a timely and caring manner, and my dad's needs were always their top priority. From the nurses and physical therapists to the staff who assisted with meals, bathing, and medication, every single person played an important role in my dad's recovery. Their teamwork and dedication made such a difference. I'd especially like to acknowledge Jun, Julie, Andy, Brandon, Jasper, Michael, Dennis, Christine, Mark, Stephanie, Lisa, Lucy, Celina, Cindy, Sarah, Angie, Jaime, Ben, Mark, Ester, Navi, Balgit, Shainah,( I am sure I am forgetting alot of names...) for their kindness, responsiveness, and personal attention throughout my dad's stay. I'll never forget how accommodating Jun was when I reached out on short notice. I think it was 24 hours before we needed to transfer my dad. He took care of everything quickly and efficiently, ensuring my dad could be admitted without delay. That kind of compassion and professionalism is rare, and I truly appreciate it so much!! Thank you to everyone at Sun Mar Nursing Center for your care, patience, and commitment. You made a difficult time much easier for our family, and we will continue to recommend Sun Mar to anyone in need of quality care for their loved ones.

This is a long overdue review! I highly recommend this school for all prospective CNA students…read more There were many schools to choose from and I am SO GLAD I chose this one! First, it's the most affordable school on the list of ACCREDITED CNA schools. In addition they have both day and night classes to accommodate your needs as a working student. Second, the amount of hands-on training is incomparable to other schools I looked into. They truly prepare you for your state exam which explains their high testing scores! Besides that the instructors are kind, helpful, and will challenge you to push yourself to excel! Lastly, the MVP is the director of the schools itself Dr. Kal! This man is a father figure to us students! It's been almost 6 months since we graduated and he still contacts our class for job opportunities available and updates about maintaining our license! He truly cares for his students success DURING and AFTER your program! And he's funny!! Overall, I can't recommend this school enough, I've told numerous students about this school and will continue to do so!
