Seneca Tree Service was working at a neighbor's home. I had a branch dangerously dangling after a storm. I got their card and called. I gave my information to the man who answered the phone. On the Sunday before Christmas, an employee from Seneca came to my home. I thought they came on Sunday because of the danger the branch presented and also because inclement weather was predicted. Roberto said $350 and he would take care of it right there and then. I thought it odd he wanted cash, so I provided a check. Roberto climbed the tree with no safety equipment at all. His co-worker held the rope. They took out a section of my fence with the branch. They put what was supposed to be a temporary fix with them coming back the following week to repair the fence properly. I gave them a week because of the Christmas holiday, but they never showed after 10 days. Calls to the office were terse and nasty. They had no record of my information, therefore they weren't responsible for my fence. I argued that I gave my info to a person who answered the phone at their office, who wore their company sweatshirt for the job, and I had no reason to believe they weren't representing the company. They eventually sent Roberto back out. Roberto said not to call his boss anymore. I never got my fence repaired by Seneca Tree Service. Not trust worthy or legitimate. Worst company ever. read more

I've called them twice now in the last two weeks to try get a quote on a job. Both times I've been on hold for ten minutes and then when their answering service picks up I've had to leave messages to have them call me back. They've NEVER called me back. That tells me all I need to know and I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

We had our trees cut today by Seneca and they did such a great job. They cut down 6 trees in total, grinded one trunk and cleaned up, all in less than a half day. They should change their name to Ghosting Service. Don't bother calling them because they will never finish the job. Got an estimate 4 months back. Agreed to the price and they scheduled a date. Never showed up, never called and never followed up. I have left them over 25 messages with their answering service but they don't have the civility or courtesy to return my calls. When they were taking down a tree it my yard it fell onto my elderly neighbor passing by and completely crushed him! There was blood everywhere it was disgusting. To make a bad situation worse the workers pointed and laughed!! They demanded we paid in full that day and never returned to clean up the tree stumps! 0/5 stars if i could. read more

Gave me a price 6 weeks ago and I approved it without question. never showed up to do the work and after repeated phone calls to his office I finally got a woman who told me if she return phone calls they would never get work done. then he got on the telephone and was every bit as nasty as her so needless to say I got someone else read more
