Great experience with Golden Carpets! George was very nice, professional and accommodating…read morethroughout the entire process. The team was punctual, quick, efficient and kept everything very tidy while working. The quality of work was excellent and we love how the floors came out. Highly recommend!

got a sheer curtain from them years ago and it had too much fabric pinched and sewn in, which made…read morethe curtain hard to be pulled open. asked them to redo the sewing (and was willing to pay for the modification) and was told that since the curtain has been hung over the years, the fabric surely would be too worn and will be torn if being re-sewn. i found that odd. i work with fabric and know for sure that a curtain should have no problem being redone. that curtain was around $1,200 and if i want a product as fragile as paper towel i could've just got ones from jc penny for a quarter of a price. the only reason we buy something nice is because we want to keep it longer. anyhow, the older lady sales were at least willing to hear me out when i explained to her that the fabric was nice and i just want to keep it but redo the sewing and she said that it should be ok, she will discuss with her manager. a day later, i went to the store and met the manger, a younger lady, got major attitude and was told that they simply don't rework products that are already sold and insisted that i buy a brand new curtain. i later found that what they told me were straight out lies because i brought the curtain to a different shop and got it redone for under $300 and the curtain hang nicely in the living room now. it's been a year, no fabric was torn or damaged and the curtain pull open beautifully. so why did they lie? it's greed, and i still remember the annoyed face of that manger when i went to talk to her. you are simply not welcome if you are not there to make a purchase. thank god i followed my instinct and took the curtain to be fixed somewhere else and did not give this dishonest company more business! i always take pride in supporting local small businesses, but if they cannot keep their integrity, then you can't blame anyone when your customers go to other stores. and thinking that selling brand new curtains and force customers into spending unnecessary money might seem like a good idea, but that is very short sighted. i do interior design and my family are developers, i will make sure not to buy a single curtain from them anymore and asks my colleagues and friends to do the same.
