There was no pressure to work with him, but he always answered every question before we committed, and continued to communicate regularly throughout the project. He gave an estimated time frame and they beat it by a couple days. They were very accommodating on start date when we asked to move it up, and were happy to work with our schedule when other parts of the house weren't ready for them. Some contractors come one day and dont come back for a couple days - they showed up every day they said they would be here. The crew, Peter and Miguel, worked well together and so they were able to move through the project quickly. The finished product looks great thanks to their attention to detail. Another thing, we were living there during the flooring and they were very understanding and happy to work with us on minimizing the disruption to our home. Poor management and the workers they have to install carpet...below average standards…read more I came here to see their remnant carpet...once I selected the roll of remnant carpet I gave the Manager the dimensions of the room, asking him if this roll will cover the width and length. He immediately said, of course. When the two guys arrived to install the carpet the padding they brought with them was not enough, they had to cut several weird shapes to make it work. I can understand that the remnant may take some skill to work...but f-ing padding should be ample enough...looked like a Frankenstein cut job. Remnant padding! Also...the guys didn't bring enough of the slender nail-railing that is required along the edge for the carpet installation...one guy had to go to the nearest Home Depot in hopes they had this stock...that took over an hour and a half. Well over an hour of nothing going on, waiting for material that is necessary and basic for proper installation. Lastly, the carpet didn't fit unless they made weird cuts and that the far corner of the room and couch will cover and hide the possible future problems. Total hack job. People want and expect competent and capable people doing the job correctly...and proper knowledge from the business owner. Doesn't happen here.

I spoke primarily with Irving, but had the pleasure of meeting his father and family members as well. The ENTIRE CREW is exceptional and the finished product is gorgeous. My wife is opening up a showroom on 3rd/la brea area opening October 1st... and I had the idea to try and cut corners with expenses. Instead of hiring someone to paint/polish the floors I tried to do them myself. Needless to say i really F'ed them up... they look like they were pee'd on after I tried it. Since October is right around the corner we were scrambling to find someone to fix them for us immediately since we had loads of furniture arriving. I called 6 different places... AG flooring was not only very affordable, especially compared to the other places, but they were extremely quick. I must have called and spoke to Irving at around 7pm. His team did leave floor finish stains on the baseboards and my kitchen quartz counter walls, so heads up, don't forget to ask them to use painters tape if you're getting your hardwood floors sanded and refinished. (Initial review) Initially when Alex first gets your business, they seem responsive and even tells me about how shoddy of a job the previous flooring people did in my home (fixed by previous owners). But the moment any small issues come up, Alex just ghosts his customers. In the video you can see the cracks happening under normal body weight. I really wanted to believe that at the very least he and his team will try to provide any rectification, even if it's just to come out again to check on the floor to see what else can be done, like I wouldn't even have mind paying an additional small fee for materials. Instead, since he has been fully paid, he won't even see the project to the end to make sure he delivers on quality work. I understand that things come up and he could be busy but the non-responsiveness for two weeks is clear.
