I had a wonderful experience at Selma Pet Clinic! The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and caring from the moment we walked in. The clinic was very clean, and we were seen quickly without feeling rushed. The exam was only $45, and even after my dog received all of his vaccinations, my total came to under $200, which was very affordable. The veterinarian took the time to answer my questions and made sure my dog was comfortable throughout the visit. read more

Very caring and knowlegable staff. They take their time to explain and answer any questions questions I have. They are excellent about sending reminders for vaccinations, medications and follow-up appointments. They also do "check-up calls. The clinic is kept very clean and waiting time is never very long especially if you have an appointment. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. I brought my cat in because he suddenly couldn't move or walk and was clearly very sick. The vet barely examined him -- only checked his heartbeat -- and immediately told me my cat was going to die. Instead of actually trying to help or run proper tests, the only thing they pushed was euthanasia and asked if I was financially stable enough to "invest" in my pet. It honestly felt like they were more interested in taking my money than actually helping my animal. Thankfully I trusted my gut and went to another vet for a second opinion. The second clinic actually took the time to evaluate him, gave him the right shots and antibiotics, and my cat recovered -- he is now healthy again. Based on my experience, this place felt careless, dismissive, and more focused on money than saving animals. I strongly recommend going somewhere else and always getting a second opinion before making life-or-death decisions about your pet. read more

I am thankful to this pet clinic for taking wonderful care of my dog. They actually answered the phone and got my dog in within a few hours of my call. Dr. Gill took care of my baby's issue quick and I appreciate them so much!! This is my new vet for sure!! read more

The staff here was very friendly, honest and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place. My parents dog name Baby was treated carefully and we did not feel rushed. Our questions and concerns were addressed. I am thankful I found this vet. read more

Selma Pet Clinic - Baby (fur baby) And the nice doctor that handled our family dog with care - Veterinarians Near Me - Selma, California

Today was my first time visiting the Selma Pet Clinic, but my experience was great. I called this morning around 10:30 about a problem my cat was having and was able to get a same day appointment. I arrived a little early to the appointment and was seen immediately. I was in and out in less than an hour, and that included labs and x rays. Staff all seemed caring and friendly. I don't go to vets often, so I can't speak on how the price is compared to other vets, but I was given the opportunity to choose what services and knew how much everything cost before they completed anything. Would definitely recommend read more

Only appointments are from 10-3 and you have to call same day. Not sure how anyone gets seen! Craziest appt schedule I've ever heard of. 1 star given for all the trouble to schedule. read more

Reasonably priced veterinarian services. They have always been able to get my dogs in quickly. It's clean, and doesn't smell bad when you walk in like some other places we've been. The only thing I didn't like is that a female staff member told me you can't schedule appointments ahead, you have to call the same day. But then a male staff member was able to schedule my dogs ahead for immunizations. Not sure what that was about. But everything else has been a positive experience. read more

Very gentle and thorough vet. My dog is not easy to treat - rescued from the street but he handled her very well. A little expensive in my estimation, but got the job done, which was the important thing. I'll go back again. read more

The first 2 appointments were fine, the vet and staff were helpful but about our 3rd time coming in with our puppy they started getting short with us and then stop taking us back to a room. They began to give our puppy his shots in the lobby and at the time we didn't think much about it just the maybe the rooms were full. I took him in on the 3rd to get his nails cut, he loves meeting people but he didn't want to go back with the vet tech. So I walked him back and waited for him to be done but about half way through I heard a yelp and once again didn't think much of it and they were soon finished. When they brought him out, they never disclosed that he got irritated or that they weren't able to finish the trimming. So thinking all was good I paid and when we got home my wife looked at his paws, only to realize that only two of his paws were trimmed and one was left untouched. What was concerning was that one of his paws had a toe cut down way too far causing him to yelp and it was too late to take him back. I called and left a message and the following day I received a text telling me that they would rather keep a pet owner in the dark on topics of their animals instead of having the owner brought to the back to help keep the pet calm and allow the tech to finish. They would rather do a half ass job and blame it on the animal saying next time if he gets antsy they will refuse to trim his nails and then offer a partial refund after they don't do their job and charge you $40+. If you're looking for a vet who is going to be emotionally invested in your animals health and emotional state, look somewhere else because all they care about is getting people in and out. It's easy to say we will not be returning and do not recommend it to anyone. read more

I have only gone to this clinic once for a simple spade. They are much more affordable compared to neighboring towns but they will also want to push pain meds, antibiotics, cone, etc to also add to the cost so typically they will quote you and then you will receive additional options that can add up quickly. The things they offer are good for your pet but you will need to use your own judgment. The staff was friendly and clear communicators. My cat was just fine post up and they took good care of her. I would come back again. read more

Terrible customer service. They don't make appointments, you have to call the morning of. Too bad for me, that wasn't explained when I called and 'made an appointment' two weeks out, specific day and time. I show up and the doctor wasn't there and they said I don't have an appointment. Puppies have to go in, first thing in the morning-per them-but yet if the doctor isn't there they can't be seen? For a shot? I went straight to another clinic, walked in and a tech was able to give my puppy his shots. No doctor. They just want to get your money-once they sent me a reminder to come in so they can apply topical flea treatment on my cat. Really? The guy at the front desk doesn't care either, he has a 'We don't need your business" attitude, no good for customer service. read more

Decent place but like pretty much every place else, they have their issues too. I've only been there twice so not much experience yet. We saw Dr Dahliwahl (sp?) Nice man, hard to understand with his accent but very kind. David at the front desk is friendly & seems very knowledgeable. We had an appointment for 2 dogs to get their rabies vaccine. Both require pre-treat meds due to their allergic reactions. One had a brief exam. We spent most of the time waiting in the exam room though, ugh. We finally opened our door & said we really needed to get going. Finally a vet tech gave the pre-med shots & said we needed to wait 5 mins before the rabies vaccine. After another 10 mins we asked how much longer‍ The whole appt took a full hour with literally 10 mins if that, of contact with the doc & staff‍ At least they do answer their phone & get you in the same day. But it's slow going once you're in. Im not sure how they'd be in an emergency situation. read more

The first time I visited the clinic was on 10/29/19 the staff was very professional and personable to us as a first time customers. Today, 11/19/19 I went to get my dog second set of shots and there was absolutely NO customers in there and yet Victoria was very rude to us in regards to getting shots, asked us if we would like to reschedule because she was there by herself. I suggested that we would hold the dog and that we drove from Fresno. She reluctantly agreed, but was very rushed and RUDE. Victoria wasn't open to asking questions and quickly got back on the phone after we paid for our service. Please let me reiterate that there were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS in the clinic. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to this clinic, with staff like that I see why both times I was there, there were no other customers!!! read more

Vet has poor bedside manner. Never introduced himself I waited for 30 minutes saw my kittens for 2 minutes. Insulting to me by telling me "it was too much information for me" on the condition of my cat when I questioned him on the medication and return visit. I already had a diagnosis and had talk to 2 assistants and another Vet who let me know it was a common condition in kittens. This Vet said it was a rare condition. I questioned him on the age of the cat as he estimated as much younger (7 weeks) which concerned me as I had already vaccinated at 9 weeks. His reply was it doesn't matter. Extremely cold and non caring to the health of my kitten. read more

We went on 11/17/2020, because we had to put our baby down. We went there because they had diagnoised him with Cancer and the Vet was really nice at the initial visit. But our experience on Tuesday was awful, the front office and techs were rude. They were insensitive to our situation and they were not very friendly. They were pretty expensive also. I called to ask about euthanization and they said $150.00 on the phone but charged us $311. What could we do at that point, our boy was in pain, We were stuck. Then when asked about cremation, they quoted us 300-600 dollars for private creamation (Not even a set price). That was ridiculous. We had a friend pick him up after and take him elsewhere for private cremation. The price was not even close to what they quoted. I feel they took our desperate and emotional situation and and took advantage of us. Price gouging. They also didnt give me a reciept. I saw previous reviews and you could tell from the response of the owner-How rude these people are. read more

We travel all the way from Visalia to go here.. great prices, great customer service. I love that they email records and reminders.

I took my dog here only because my original veterinarian has COVID. My dog has a cyst that needed antibiotics. They insisted she take a blood test for $157 before prescribing the antibiotics. After the blood test they tell me her liver is inflamed and it could be due to the cyst or it could be another underlying condition. They told me that I need to bring her back next week for another blood test to see. That was $300 later. Wouldn't that smarter thing be to do the antibiotic first and then take a blood test afterward if she is still showing symptoms. No, that would be to easy. I will not be returning here. read more

When the consumer is upset because their dog is sick and has to pay a lot of money, STAFF is not supposed to take it PERSONAL and this staff did. The staff would walk in the room with attitude, except for the guy, he was okay. What made me more upset was the way the staff spoke to me, they were uncompassionate and unsympathetic. They mistook my being upset for being rude and in return they were rude to me. My dog had surgery and naturally I was upset because of the whole situation. So because the staff was so uncompassionate, I said "maybe it's time I look for another vet." My daughter had to drive my dog to his Clovis office to re-suture him. Well, the Selma Pet Clinic staff told DR. Singh, who had his CLOVIS office call me and he YELLED at me as he said "what is your dog doing here if you don't trust me, you told my staff that you were going to look for another vet!! you need to apologize!!" then Dr. Singh told me to take my do somewhere else.. and FORCED me to apologize before seeing my dog again as he yelled at me. He also put me on speaker and forced his staff (Aleah from Clovis clinic) to tell me how rude I WAS, he humiliated me by doing this. read more

My husband and I are so very pleased with Dr. Singh at Selma Pet Clinic. He is knowledgeable as well as kind. The clinic is immaculate and we love the staff. I was truly surprised. I did not expect as good as I got. I have been with Kingsburg Vet for over 30 years but can no longer afford the prices. My husband and I have what we call "our menagerie." We stay on top of possible animal sicknesses through yearly vaccinations at discount prices. But occasionally, unexpected surprises happen that warrant a visit to the vet. That means I am always looking for 2 things: 1) quality veterinarian, 2) reasonable price for services rendered. Selma Pet Clinic definitely provides both. read more

My dog had to have dental work. Pricing at Fresno vet offices (even those that specialize in dental work) was around $1500. Selma Pet Clinic charged a fraction of the cost for teeth cleaning, anti-biotics, pain medicine, anesthesia, and blood work. They also stuck to their quoted price and did not nickel and dime me. The place is clean, the staff is super nice and professional, and the vet was very down to earth and practical. This is where I will take my dog for all future needs. read more

I called at 12:45pm on 8-28-18 to get a price quote on vaccinations, the man who answered didn't know the cost of the vaccination, and said it would be the same price that was on the receipt I had received with the puppy I just got. He said he would need 2nd shot and dewormer; when I asked why he would have to get a deworming pill again? He hung up on me. I could hear the phone go down on the receiver. Don't waste your time with this unprofessional shady place. read more

They were really rude as soon as we walked in, they questioned our financial abilities to pay for the services for our dog. The doctor was very unprofessional and judgmental about my dog. They were suggesting lab work without evidence that it was needed and took my dog to a back room for her shots when every other vet I have been to allows me to be in the room with her and overall the neighborhood was very unsafe. read more

great clinic, we were a walk in and they got us in quick and there was little wait until the doctor came in. they were straight to the point and found out what was wrong with my dog and got us the proper medication. overall our bill was fairly cheap and an exam was only $30. def recommend this place. staff was friendly and kind. read more

This place is a huge scam! First they lie about the cost of their procedures. When my pet was done with a surgery i had to pay 50 percent more than what they told me originally. they will ask you to come in for unnecessary procedures, i spent over 350 dollars on a procedure that was completely unecessary. The medication prices are ridiculous and they will make you come in every 6 months for unnecessary blood work for benign medication which could cost over 80 dollars for each visit. They will also always try to scam you with ridiculously overpriced medication when you leave. Like flea and tick medication that cost 120 dollars!!! And they will add it to your tab passing it off like its something you need and it could go over your head if you are not aware of what they are doing. The kingsburg vet is a better clinic, the prices for most procedures are more less the same, when you ask they will give you more realistic and honest prices and they dont try to scam you! read more
