I have a tracking number which confirms they received the stamps on December 20th (about 800 dollars worth). Sent in stamps and received an offer of approx $20.00. Accepted the offer then received an email asking "how did we do?" Responded to email stating I have not received payment. West coast stamp co. Asked for my info again. Invoice #. Tracking # name etc. Responded with information requested. I did two additional follow up emails requesting payment. Have been completely ignored since their first email in early January. How can a firm in good conscience simply take my goods and provide nothing in return. Do not support this firm in any fashion. First I want to point out that this is a legit company and will pay you for your unused postage stamps. However, their website claims it only takes about a day to process and pay upon receipt of the stamps. It took over 3 weeks for me to receive my payment offer and another day once I accepted the offer. When I called to check what was taking so long, the nice lady who answered could not find my order even though I had received an email confirming my stamps had been received. She stated they were backlogged but if I had received the confirmation email then everything was fine. I had sent in 20 books of stamps so I was a bit concerned. Update: I received a pdf of my purchase offer on 3/14 and it was signed and dated on 3/11 - three day delay with no explanation. I sent back the I accept email within 5 minutes and still haven't received my payment. I'll do a final update once this is completed but if you have other options I would definitely CAUTION you. They aren't a scam, they are just running a bad business and overpromising what they deliver. This is a mid tier review as I am going through the process now, and to share some insights the company doesn't seem to want to share: 1. Regardless of how you ship your stamps, it goes to a mail room and they only pick it up once a week. 2. It took them two days to confirm receipt - no eta or turn time included. 3. I have called every day at multiple different times of day and no one answers the phone I checked my junk folder for the purchase offer and have only received the initial confirmation email. I sent about 3k stamps over and needed the extra cash for some emergencies that happened... which is what I'm sure most people who are selling stamps are doing. So far - can't say it's bad? Can't say it's good either. Might be better off just putting them on offer up - at least then you'll know when and how much you'll get back. read more

How could they improve? With Integrity and honesty regarding their business tactics. I have yet to be paid via wire transfer ( 1 day turnaround, they claim) and it's been 6 days since their offer of more than $2000. I mailed in my items March 1st, they were received March 9th. Offer was made and accepted, payment was said to be wired with proof (I have never seen said proof). I've called, emailed, multiple times and as of date June 21st I have not received my items back, the payment claimed to be paid to me or any return communication. They show up so far under 3 different company names. Very upsetting as well as disappointing. One of their companies addresses actually is registered as Trader Joe's. Worst feeling ever is being lied to. Also when they send you their offer it's not what it should be nor do they explain where the dollar amounts come from. Very, very wrong! Update: the seller has paid me the full amount expected. (It just took a very long time - I believe about 2 months.) I have actually sent them another smaller set of stamps and have confirmation that my submittal has been received. Now the waiting game begins again! So, to confirm, the only remaining downside to this place is the length of time spent waiting for payment. It makes you wonder if you'll ever receive it, and when you've got nothing but a copy of a form you submitted yourself plus a tracking number for an envelope containing items you cannot "prove" were mailed, well, it does start to make you wonder and worry. read more

Sent them $179 in stamps. They say they only received $88. Total payment for $179 in face value stamps was $43. Never use them again.
